Backing up the village and restoring a lost village

By

Once the village is connected with Game Center, an online version of the current village is saved in nearly real time. Logging into that Game Center account on a different device or logging in again after a data loss makes it possible to restore the lost village, the app will ask weather to start a new village/continue the saved village or use the online saved version to restore to the device.
Both versions can be previewed and after that the correct one restored. This also enables the player to either play the game with the same village on two different devices or, by creating a second Game Center account, to have two different villages on one device.

If Game Center is not available for the device or a village has not been connected to it before some data got lost, it is possible to restore the village from a previous backup point. The game creates a backup once a day, a list of these backups can be found in a hidden feature.

After tapping on the small head of Papa Smurf found in the options menu for 16 times a “Recover Village” button appears at the bottom right side of the options menu. Clicking on that gives a list of the latest backups. The villages saved there can be previewed and, if needed, restored.

I’ve already made new syncs to iTunes, so that means I’ve deleted all my backups for the game..? No way to recover it through Game Center? It says “welcome back xxx” (as someone also said above) but the game is still starting from level 1…

    • Smurfette says:

Try deleting and reinstalling the game, then open it again via Game Center, that helps sometimes. Also in iTunes, go to Preferences and there on the tap "Devices" there you can see if you still have older backups

  2. Smurfs Grabber says:

I lost my Smurfs Grabber game data when updating iOS5. It still shows my game achievements through Game Center but still the latest update of the game is for some reason from level 1 although I was over level 20. Do you know if there's a similar way to restore the game than this trick with Smurfs Village?

    • Smurfette says:

No, there is no in-game way to restore your progress. You should restore your device from your iTunes backup, that should give you your data back (to the date when the backup was created)

  3. Nicholas Ling says:

Emm.. i was deleted my smurfs village.. i try reinstall it but lost all data. i'd try in recover village but no previous saved data inside.. anyone can help me get back my smurf?? Thanks..

    • Smurfette says:

By deleting the village all of the backup points were deleted to. Do you use game center? If so you should get it back by logging back into GC. If you do not use Game Center but are using an Apple Device, you can also restore your device from an iTunes backup. If you use Android there is no way to get the village back unless you have some kind of backup on your computer.

  4. Anne says:

i checked game center and tried the 16 times tapping on papa smurf's head, but there seems to be no data for me to recover. any other way?

    • Smurfette says:

Only if you have your decive synced via iTunes so that it creates a backup. If you did you can restore your device, and therefore your village, from there. If you do not have a backup, there is no way to recover the data.

  5. pd10 says:

why my IPad wont sync the latest update from GC? I am at level 26 on my iPhone. I install Smurfs village into the new IPad and open the game in IPad from GC. After open the Smurf game from GC, it has the message saying “welcome back….” But it make me go through all the introduction …. And start at the beginning.
I try to delete the game from IPad and reinstall several time but it did not pickup
    Please help. Thanks

    • Smurfette says:

That is weired. Are you connected to the Internet when you open the game? Do you get the "Welcome Back, XXX" Message when you are on the Main Screen of the Smurfs? Also, try restarting your device, that might help.

      • Jan Leung says:

I have the same problem too. I am connected to the Internet all the time. Any idea how to force my iPad to get the data fromGC?

        • Smurfette says:

The issue with Game Center has been occuring more often lately, as well as many friends not showing up on the neighbour's map. This lets me to conclude that it is probably a server issue, that will either be fixed by Beeline on their side or with an upcoming update. Until then there is nothing really that you can do about it.

  6. Anne says:

hi, i just lost my progress for my village. i tried looking for a "recover village" button but there is NONE on my app. what do i do now?

  7. Jacy says:

Just now my apps had crashing.. and I keep trying to reboots.. but the app still not working..
so I had reinstall the smurfs apps again.. but … my lvl 30 village had LOST! and now I am only lvl 1…
How can I recover back my village? I did not backup in my iTunes..
and I had tried to use my game center to recover back.. but it is unable to recover..
what should I do now? I had buy some smurf's berries on August.. is it possible to recover back my village?

    • Smurfette says:

What happens if you try using Game Center? Does your village not appear or do you get an error message? If you did not backup via iTunes and Game Center won't work you might have to restart. In that case contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com) so that they can give you the berries you bought back.

      • Jacy says:

Luckily.. cus my IPhone had been jailbreaks, so I wont sync my apps.. b4 that I keep connect to my game center, but it is not appear for my old village, then I click to the neighbour and it comes out my old village data – - luckily..

    • Jacy says:

The most funny stuff is after I recover my village – - I can't connect to others neighbor village for game center and facebook

  8. Tagh says:

How to have two village on one iPad?

  9. tara says:

I got a new macbook and while syncing my old iPod touch, I lost my apps and this game with all my progress (level 31, tons of coins, and $10 spent on extra features). I had no idea that Game Center was for saving games like Smurf village. I redownloaded the game from my app store on my iPod, but my progress is all lost. I did the 16 times thing to restore village and nothing was there. PLEASE help. I'm so upset over this. I've been playing this game for almost a year now.

    • Smurfette says:

The restore function does not work, because the app was deleted from you device and then it deleted the backup points as well. You only chance to get your game back would be if you have still access to your old macbook. There everytime you sync your device to iTunes it creates a backup, restore your iPod from the latest backup and all should be well. If you do not have access to the old macbook data anymore, you can not get your village back. If you click restart in the options menu, you should get at least the Smurfberries back that you purchased but you will have to start over.

      • Tara says:

Ok, so there's no hope for restoring my game. But I pressed restart in the options menu and didn't get my smurfberries back. Is there a way to get them back (it's like 100 smurfberries!) via my iTunes account purchase history? Thank you so much for your help! This really sucks…

        • Smurfette says:

That is weired, they should usually be back (as long as you reinstalled the app from the same itunes account you used to buy the Smurfberries). You can email your itunes receipt to Beeline (support@beeline-i.com) and they will be able to restore them to you.

  10. Patty says:

Need help. I updated my iPad to ios5 and I lost my village. I logged in to game center but the game started in the biggining. What can I do to recover my village? What about my purchased berries? I tried the fix at the top but it didn't work.

    • Smurfette says:

Unfortunately with the update your app was probably lost and installed as new, hence there are no backup points. When you sync your device to iTunes, it creates a backup of the App Data. Try to restore your device from the latest backup before you had iOS 5. Then all data should be back, including your village (but the device will stay on iOS 5 of course). If it does not work, you will have to start over. Go to options and click restart, that should give you at least all of the berries you purchased back. If it does not, email beeline (support@beeline-i.com) with your itunes receipt, they can restore your smurfberries as well.

  11. Hil says:

I lost my village also. I think i got an instruction somehow to escape from gargamel, because the village was in danger. And suddenly i had to those to go to another village and i had to start over again. I remembered great smurf saying that he would miss the old village….i thought it was part of the game…
I followed the instructions and got my village back. Thanks.

  12. Elly says:

I deleted my game once I found out that it restarted. I made such a huge mistake so I tried to reinstall the game on my iPod. I tried logging onto my game center account but it didn't ask me which village to use. Help! I am so desperate to get my village back. I worked so hard for it!

    • Smurfette says:

You can try to restore your ipod from an itunes backup. Everytime you sync it via iTunes it creates a backup of all your files and app data, if you restore it your village should return to how it was. Although try restarting your device and then log into Game Center and open the game via Game Center to see if it asks you to choose a village

  13. Angry Smurf says:

So I accidentally deleted my smurfs game as well, and now it keeps taking me back to the main starting point or beginning of the game. I've always been logged in to GC, and I ensure to do this at least once a day to prevent data loss. After today, everything is gone, I've logged in with GC, I've tried to restore everything, and it tells me there isn't any saved games over the last 40 days…
I was on level 29 or 30, had a bunch of berries and now I'm really frustrated… I haven't synched my iphone in awhile, and I'm not really sure how to back just the game up via synch, and to tell you the truth, I'm kinda pi$$ed that something like this could happen.

    • Smurfette says:

By deleteing your game you also deleted all of the backup points, so that is why you can not restore it. I can only advice to restart your device, then open the game via Game Center. Hopefully it will then ask you if you want to continue your Game Center village.

  14. VvV says:

The recovery button is NOT working, i got the message "would you like to recover this village?" click "yes" got the prompt, and nothing happen!!!

    • Handy_Smurf says:

Make sure you click papa's head 16 times and a button at the bottom will appear and if its not working, try closing and reopening your device.

  15. Jennuuuhhh says:

What if I accidentally deleted my smurf village application, and I wasn’t able to connect it to game center and iTunes? But I was able to log in to Facebook before it happened, would I be able to restore my smurf village data then? :D

    • Smurfette says:

No, Facebook does not save a version of your village. If you did not connect it to GameCenter previously and you have not made a backup via iTunes then you can not get your village back.

  16. Wisse says:

I have got a question, what if on my iPad the screen freezes to Beeline, tried everything except deleting it (because I don't want to lose it). Then I downloaded it on my iPod and tried to recover it (same game center account) and I could only choose the one game i just made on my iPod.

This makes me think I should not delete it from my iPad, because if I do I can't restore it. Am I right?

    • Smurfette says:

First I would suggest that you restart your iPod, then log into GameCenter and open the Smurf's Game from within GameCenter (choose Games, Smurfs there click Play). Then see if it will let you choose your online version. If not, then you should either not delete the game from your iPad or if you do so, first create a current iTunes backup so that, if something goes wrong you can restore your village. Have your tried all tips given here: http://www.mysmurfsvillage.com/f-aq/crashing-app-… ? Especially restarting the device and playing in Airplane Mode has been successfull in solving this issue.

      • Wisse says:

Thanks for the reply, tried everything you said and on that link you gave and it didn’t work. Guess I will wait till there is an update and hope it gets solved.

  17. Emm says:

my smurf village just changed to someone elses!! It looks like a level 2 village and im level 16.
I tried this trick and it works but i brought smurf berries just before it crashed so i lost them because they aren't saved!!!! Please help!!!

  18. smurfyperson says:

    Thanks soooooooo much!

  19. Nawab says:

This is crap, I can't recover my village

  20. Gerco says:

Hello, is it possible to move my village from the iOS version to the Android version? I moved from iPhone to Android and want to take the village along…

    • Smurfette says:

No, you can not do that, you will have to start over. But if you bought Smurfberries you can contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com) with your iTunes receipt. They should be able to restore them to your Android village.

  21. Ravenia says:

I lost my village with the new IOS 5 update, I got it back with the instructions above, thank you.

  22. Happy camper says:

Thank you!! I was able to restore my level 25 village using your suggestions! You rock!

  23. R. Schevenels says:

Thank you so much for this post. I was about to give it a rest, but it works perfect again!

  24. I recently switched from an iphone to an evo…is there a way to get my village from the iphone to load on the evo? like others, i bought some berries and have lots of coins….thanks!

  25. Gargamel says:

I upgraded to version 1.1.3, then, after a couple of days, Gargamel founded my Smurfs Village, and game returned me to level 1, and asked me to start building a new Village. I did what you suggest to do in this post: tapping 16 times on Papa Smurf head, select "recover village" and I recovered the last backup. When I recovered, Marco Smurf arrived to my Village. Everything fine, thaks to this blog, but I'm wondering: WTF? Is the same thing happening to everybody that upgraded to version 1.1.3? And if they don't know the hidden recovery feature? Will they lost their villages? I think you shuold talk about this in the blog, to prevent users from losing their villages

    • Smurfette says:

No, most people do not experiences the loss of a village after updating, but it can happen if something goes wrong with the update process. That is why the recover village feature was added.

    • Smurfmad45 says:

Same thing happened to me today. Was on level 23/24 can't remember which then I was told Garagmel had found the village and to start a new one for the lost smurfs in the forest to find. So it's been back to level 1 with no money or smurfberries. I'm unsure if this is part of the game and I'll get the original level back or does this mean I've lost everything? Help from anyone appreciated

  26. fay says:

Hey I accidentally deleted my smurfs off my iphone and now ive lost everything I have never opened it with GC so when I try the restore it just sends me to lvl one I spent loads of time on my lvl 21 village and real money on berries how do I get my village back!?! please reply! thank you!

    • Smurfette says:

You can restore your device from one of the iTunes Backups (one is created everytime you sync your device with itunes). That will revert all of you apps (not just the Smurfs Game) back to the point of the backup.

      • Lainey says:

How do you restore your ipod to the itunes back ups, ive made purchases since then will that be affected

        • Smurfette says:

First you have to transfer your purchases via iTunes (click on your device and choose "Transfer Purchases". After that, choose restore from backup. But all apps that you bought after the backup was made are set back to new, that means all saved scores etc. will be reset. Also, if you bought Smurfberries, you have to contact Beeline to give them back to you.

If your device supports Game Center, I would suggest to backup your current data (click on your device and choose backup), then restore from the old backup so you get your village back and connect that to Game Center. After that you can again restore from the current backup so that everything is as it was, but you also have your village back via Game Center.

We have a step to step guide on how to backup via iTunes etc. in the workings, should be published soon in case you need further help.

  27. MMarie says:

I guess I lost it then…cuz I did delete the application 3times & then downloaded again, cuz with the 13Sept's update ,it didnt let me play.I guess I lost it…:(
    Ok,by the way thanks!
    xxoxo
    MM

  28. MMarie says:

    Hi!I'm so sad.My village disappeared
It started over to lvl1!I went to Options to do "recover village" but doesn't seems such a box like this, just "Sound","notification","restart game","manage friends","day/night","facebook page","twitter account".
Just that.Plz can I do sth to bring my Village?

    • Smurfette says:

You have to go to optins, then tap on Papa Smurf's head for 16 times until the "Recover Village" button appears. It is not there at the beginning

      • MMarie says:

I just did!Nothing changed. The only saved village is the village lvl1!!
No other memory,I even rebooted my iphone but nothing has changed,I even tried without internet connection, but nothing.I'm pretty sad cuz I was playing Smurf's Village almost a year.

        • Smurfette says:

Did you delete and reinstall the game? Because then the saved backup points get deleted as well. You can restore your device from an iTunes backup, then everything goes back to the point how it was when the backup was created. iTunes makes a backup everytime you sync your device, but if that was a while ago you will looose some progress.

  29. Ashley says:

I was making a potion, and my ipod froze so i restarted it, and now when i try to reopen it, it closes out before i can even get to the welcome page! what should i do? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!! i was on level 16… :(

    • Smurfette says:

Please try the tips here: http://www.mysmurfsvillage.com/f-aq/crashing-app-… (Most of all, power your device off and on again). Those tips usually solve any problems.

      • Ashley says:

i already tried all of the above and still nothing!!! PLEASE I DONT WANT TO START ALL OVER AGAIN!

        • Smurfette says:

First of all, please do not double post, you posted your problem for the 5th time now within about one hour. I have to work, sleep and eat as well and every post is moderated (just as the comment section says). If you have tried everything, you will just have to wait for Beeline to release a fix. You will most likely not have to start over, but wait for the next update. Please contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com) and describe what you did to try to fix it so they can help you.

          • Ashley says:

when do you the next update will be? ive read the reviews on apple and it seems to me that many people are having this problem too…i hope they fix it!!!!!

          • Smurfette says:

Usually a new update will be released every 4-6 weeks. The latest update (1.1.3.1.) does not count (as it was only a bug fix update). So the next should be sometime in the first half of October

          • Ashley says:

Since alot of people are complaining about the new update crash, do you think that the new update should be coming fairly soon? thanks

          • Smurfette says:

The next update is expected some time in mid October, I do not think that Beeline will be able to release it earlier (it has to be programmed, tested and Apple's approval process also takes quite a while).

          • Ashley says:

OK, but will this update fix the last update crash FOR SURE (or most likely)? thanks

          • Smurfette says:

Considering how many people are havin issues and contacting Beeline about it, I would say it is going to be fixed, but only Beeline can say that for sure.

  30. Lars says:

Does anybody know how to save your village to a different gane center account?

    • Smurfette says:

The only way I know is to make sure that there is a current backup point for your old village, then log into your new GameCenter Account and then use the Recover Village feature to restore to the other village. I have not tried it, but that way should work.

    • Marco says:

no but if you back it up with itunes and lost your village make a restoration from backup.
but if you backed it up at level 20 for example and you lost your village you will onl gain your village from level 20, so each time you level up make a backup on itunes to be safe.
PS: if you lost your online village after you backed it up restore it and the it well tell you which village you want to use? chose preview on both of them and choose your village
      Hope this works

  31. Rodrigo Morales says:

I lost my village I was level 23. After the update it became really slow. I tried everything above and it won’t recover my village! After the new update it doesn’t connect with Game Center either, so I don’t know what to do! I’m even connected to a wifi net and it doesn’t connect to gamecenter

  32. Karen Henderson says:

Mine won’t open at all now! Since I added friends, the new friends, the new update and syncing it with snuff grabber. I’ve tried everything to get it working but nothing works!

  33. Christine says:

Thank you for yr reply, yeah i got this lost village recovery instruction fr. Beeline on my facebook feed few days ago when i could log in facebook. it solve my problem BUT IF I PLAY SMURF VILLAGE OFFLINE MY VILLAGE WAS BACK TO LEVEL 0… MEAN FRESH START, AND THAT RECOVERY METHOD WOULD NOT HEPL! hope you look into this matter…. thank again.

    • Smurfette says:

Since you are using GameCenter, I would suggest to delete and reinstall the Game, then before opening it up again first log into GameCenter (you have to have an Internet connection for that). Then choose your online GameCenter Game at the start and play a little while (move a thing or two around etc.). After that you can log out and take your iPad offline, and the saved version should now be your GameCenter version.

  34. Christinne says:

HI,after i log in my game via GC. I lost the smurf movies house and the cute smurf movie guy…, and 1 box of rose i planted… why? why these funny things happen? how to save online village to my ipad 2 so i can play offline with my existing village level and progress… hope to received answer fr. Beeline support via email as log in facebook error teribly recently…. even i can't open smurf village facebook page….! thk you.

    • Smurfette says:

The "Movie Smurf" is Brainy Smurf, he is not gone, just does not have the "!" above his head anymore. The movie is gone because it was a temporary item and was removed with the latest update, you can not get it back. Not sure about the rose box, that should not have gotten lost.

  35. xShaikha says:

I cant open my village in he iPad

  36. LauraSmurf says:

My sister and I both have Smurfs saved on the same Game Center account. Often it asks us both to choose which village we wish to be saved on GC so we both just override each others games so only one is actually saved on GC at one point. Is there anything we can do so that we can keep our villages (both around level 20) AND have them both safely backed up on GC? Please help! -Laura :)

    • Smurfette says:

As long as you two are only using one Game Center Account, this is not possible and will keep happening. You have to create a second GC Account, so that each of you has one, then when playing, switch to the right Account and you will not override each others villages anymore.

  37. Emily says:

what if you cant get to the main menu page, only to the one where it lists the saved villages?

    • Smurfette says:

Then you have to choose one of the saved villages, once it is restored, you should be able to get back to the main menu. This happens if your current village is corrupt or the village data has been lost, you have to do a restore

  38. nena says:

i try everything i lost my smurfs and my berries i was level 25 and i spent some mony on my berries …i try everything help me please :(

    • Smurfette says:

If you have tried everything, including the restore village tip and restoring from an iTunes Backup, there is no way to get it back, if that did not work. But you can get your Smurfberries back, you have to contact Beeline Support (they are the creators) and they will restore them. Their email is support@beeline-i.com

  39. Smurfy says:

Can I copy a file from the featured villages?

    • Smurfette says:

I am not sure what you mean with file, but only the owner of the featured villages have access to their village, you can not just get one of the featured villages as yours (if that is what you were asking). You can, however, let those villages inspire you and place items in your village just like that

  40. Vivian says:

Went to my village and it's not my village. It has hundreds of things I never bought and I'm at only level 7. Tried to re power and nothing. Not my village!!!

    • Smurfette says:

Have you tried the recover village tip? (Go to options from the main menu, there tap 16 times on Papa’s head until a recover village button appears)

  41. John says:

My village is gone completely ..!! My berries my money everything ,
And now I’m at the First Level . :’(
I opened the back up and it’s empty
How can I restore my old backup !!!!

    • Smurfette says:

Have you tried the recover village tip? (Go to options from the main menu, there tap 16 times on Papa's head until a recover village button appears? That is the only way that might still help, otherwise there is no way to get the Game back.

You can get your lost Smurfberries back by contacting Beeline Support, but not the village itself

  42. Jejy says:

I have lost my village and started all over , I tried your ways but it kept me on the 1st level , I’ve tried everything nothing worked jut tell me how can I get my old village back , please I’ve worked hard and put alot of money to have berries .
I don’t have a game center I don’t want to use it and I don’t want to be doomed HELP

  43. Shani says:

I was at level 33,harvesting crops & my game erased completely!!!I was not connected though Game Center, but read above that I could tap Papa Smurfs head 16 x's in the Options Menu to preview the latest backup. It totally worked!!I lost my progress for the past 9 hours which I am sooooo ok with. Will access my village through Game Center from now on!!

  44. Marcelle says:

Hi, I lost the village, then went back and restored from last update, not perfect but at least not all lost. Bought some smurf berries and built back up. Problem though, closed game and reopened and now I am back at the village I thought id lost, the restored village with lots of berries and gold seems to have disappeared! :( what to do??? any help appreciated!

    • Smurfette says:

Have you tried the tip mentioned above (go to main menu –> options and tap 16 times on Papa Smurf's head)?

If that does not work you can contact beeline support (support@beeline-i.com) and send them your itunes receipts and they will restore your lost Smurfberries

  45. Deborah hankins says:

Was at level 33 very close to next lost my village tried all three reboots and even saved on the computer vie had a problem since the beach or taylor update lost 250 berries whf kicks u off when close to the end and contacted cap cam mobile wit no amswers

    • Smurfette says:

You have to contact beeline support (support@beeline-i.com) and send them your itunes receipts and they will restore your lost Smurfberries

      • miniman says:

tried rebooting and tried the papa smurf thing but my old saves not there plus I cant send them my receipt because I used Jailbreak to get smurfberries what do I do

        • Smurfette says:

Have you deleted and reinstalled the game? Because that would delete all of your backup points as well. If there are no backups to be found and restarting does not work, do you use GameCenter? Then reinstalling the app might bring back your game. If not, your only chance is to use the iTunes Backup. Everytime you sync your device with itunes it creates a backup. You can restore your phone to that point, that means all of your data will be how it was when you last did your backup, that includes all apps and your village. If you still got a backup, you can try using that

i lost my village and everything and i can't seem to recover them. and i dont have a game center account!! what should i do???

    • Smurfette says:

Have you tried the tip mentioned above (go to main menu –> options and tap 16 times on Papa Smurf's head)? If that did not work, try to turn your phone off and on again, that might help, too.

    • Duckie says:

Yeah it worked for mine (: follow the instructions above! Thank you to this wonderful website, I'm so relieved…

      • wendy faye says:

I followed the instruction above and I can only preview it… how can i restore it??? Pls help…

        • Smurfette says:

Preview the village, if it is the correct one, click on red arrow button on the bottom right side and confirm that you want to restore.

          • wendy faye says:

Hi Smurfette, thanks for your reply… everytime i click on red arrow button on the bottom right, it always EXIT OUT the game instead… by the way, i am using samsung galaxy s2… Pls pls help…. Thank you!!!

          • Smurfette says:

That should not happen. Have you tried it with another save, maybe the one you are previewing is corrupt? Try a day before that. If it does not work, I suggest that you contact Beeline at support@beeline-i.com so they can help.

    • smurf says:

People is able to steal villages… That may be the way you lost them

      • >:( says:

So is there no way to get youre village back if you accidentli synced it after youre village back, if so that really sucks, i was on level 26, id spent money buying smurfette, and everyone else(i litterly could buy anyone else) and now im back on level 1, at 0% and cant get my old village back.
great way to start the year, loose one of the things i cant live without (no exageration)

        • Smurfette says:

Do you use Android or iOS? If the recover feature mentioned in the article above does not work and you use iOS you can just restore your device from an iTunes backup. If you use Android, there is no way to get your village back unless you created a backup of your device.

  48. Simon says:

    Brilliant!

    • Abigail says:

My surfs doesn't have that restore button!!!! What to do???

      • Smurfette says:

Have you followed the instructions to get the "Recover Village" button? It is not there from the beginning. If you can not get it to appear, it is possible that you have an old version of the game, have you updated it lately?

  49. nil sah says:

what is game center and how do ı access?

  50. Kennedy says:

My ipod does not get internet. If I buy a new ipod, will I need to start over completely?

    • Alain says:

      Kennedy,
You can only save your village through game center (GC), but you have to be connected to Game center server by internet in order to save or restore your village. It would be possible also that you can copy the Smurfs village game files stored in your ipod but you need to jailbreak (hack) your old an new ipod to be able to be able to access to the files (to copy and past them), but not sure how complecated or how successful is :( . hope this helps. Good luck

      • Rhea says:

Actually, just plug in your iPod to itunes and sync it, itunes then creates a backup. Now when you plug in your new ipod, just choose to restore it from the backup from your old ipod, all your data (i. e. App Data, Game Progress, Emails etc.) will be back, including your village

  51. Sassete says:

I think that you need to contact Beelines support to fix this

  52. June says:

Brainy.. i have same problem after update to latest version. when i trying to recover my village, it show at Level 36 0%xp.. but actual i have 80%++xp.. please advice…

  53. Brainy says:

you will lose some progress (about haft to 1 day) when you restore your village.
Losing 80% is alot and i dont know why. Sorry

  54. June says:

Shall i keep playing till next update? now i still in the huge XP %..

  55. Dreamy_Smurf says:

We aren't Beeline so we can't do anything about it.

  56. Poet says:

Have you gotten the latest update? If your game is still glitched after the 1.2.1 update, then you may either want to report it or report it to Beeline directly.

  57. Brainy says:

    Thanks :-)

  58. Lou says:

Yes John. That's what happened to me. All my game data was lost since the new update had an orange 'beeline' start up page.

  59. Soaron ronin says:

Just restore it. then all is fine
