Baker Smurf is stationary, i.e. he does not walk around the village but rather stays in front of his bakery. Baker Smurfs Bakery can be build in level 4 for 80 Coins and it takes 2 hours to build it. The bakery offers a baking mini-game where the user has to help Baker bake cookies, cupcakes and cakes on different difficulty levels.
The task is to remove the pastries from the oven (by touching them with the finger) when they are done, but before they have been burnt. Depending on the difficulty the user is responsible for at the same time ranges from 4 to 8.
I really wish the baking game was updated to reward people that have become skilled at the game. The xp point rewards seem very small at the highest (cherry cake) level when compared with the handy smurf game, which is a lot easier.
Everytime I play the baking game the timer gets stuck and I end up baking for a minute or two. The best way I have found to fix the problem is to pause and unpause the game repeatedly. Is there ever going to be a fix? I have quit playing because of it.
I haven't heard of that issue before. Please contact Beeline support (support@beeline-i.com) to make sure they are aware of the issue and can fix it with the next update (if you have not yet done so, of course)
It gives more time for every item baked. So you baking really quickly might result In much longer baking time. Happened to me once.
The cherry cakes challenge will restart time around 9 seconds or so. So when you tap a cake the time adds about 5 seconds. You can easily end up playing for a minute or two. Also when it starts doing this the cakes burn faster. Like a cake won’t even steam it will just go straight to burn. Has been like this since I started playing.
How do i complete the cherry cake quest?
The trick is to not wait for the cakes to start steaming, just take them out when they are "ok" instead of "smurfy". You have to take 40 "ok" or "smurfy" cakes out of the ovens to get the max xp and coins on that level.
I'm sick of trying. Might give the game a rest for a while, as can't move on past the cherry cake quest.
I really think we should have the option of losing the quest and points and being able to continue on.
I know what you mean!! I just can't seem to get it. I wish there was some way to move on. I'm feeling quite inadequate.
I wish there was a way of getting past the cherry cake quest. I have come to a standstill and quickly losing interest in the game. There is a limit to the length of time I am prepared to feel like an idiot for not being able to play a kids game and succeed.
I would have thought that game would be programmed to just let it go after about 10 tries and just not get the points. I have noticed on forums that others have had same problem.
I will be tossing this game aside till I come across someone who can do this for me so I can move on.
just figured out how to get past cherry cake game pretty easy once you realise that their are two screens ie eight ovens to bake in and to succeed you need to use all eight ovens and give back and forth between screens. Fell pretty stupid have been trying to figure this out for at least a month and was so easy inception I realised that their are two screens
Thank you for that tip. I finally won the cherry cakes quest! I didn’t realize there were more than the four ovens that can be used.
Here is another tip for you. When the clock is down to about 12sec , you can start using 4 ovens and still pass the game.

i tried many times.
I usually only use six oven (place them so you do not have to swipe back and forth but can see all six). Then I get as many "Smurfy" as I can, but when the time runs out, I take a couple of "Good" with me until the game is over. I always get at least "good", sometimes "smurfy" with that way
I dont know exactly what the cherry cake quest is, but if it means that you just have to make a cherry cake, its not so hard. Ive managed to get perfect results while only using the last 6 ovens in the quest. Set your screen so, that you can see the half of the two outer ovens (so you see from left to right: two half ovens, two fully visual ovens, and another two half ovens.) thats all you need to see the smoke coming up from the cakes. Then you can just bake all the cakes. Only thing you have to keep in mind, is that you're not aable to burn anything now or else you wont get a perfect. Also, you have to be lucky in which cakes are placed when you tap an oven.
Yeah, I use that method as well. It also helps that when the time runs out, you get as many "ok" items from the oven as possible until the time has run out completly. that way I always either get "smurfy" or "good"
Very Often when I play the Miner's mini game..it will get stucked midway..or the background sound just disappear after if I managed to complete the game..can this issue be ratified soon? (Android Version)

Wait, on this it says he's called baker but on the game he's Greedy. What's going on?
What's in a name? He's greedy and he bakes… In Dutch we call him "Smulsmurf". In French it's "Schtroumpf Gourmand"…
But in English the official name is indeed "Greedy"… No idea why he is placed under "Baking Smurf" here. Probably because of the baking game he offers…

Whats the most points/rewards anyone has gotten on the baking game? I play the cherry cake one with all eight ovens and can keep the game going for several minutes and still only get 45XP and 40 coins. That can't be all, its so pitiful lol.
Unfortunately that is the best you can do on the baking game. Beeline has said that they are considering changing some of the mini games because they bring to low XP for the higher levels, but until then we just have to live with the rather low reward for some of the games.

Where do you sit the cakes once they are awarded to you?
Just somewhere in your village where there is not anything else yet. A Smurf will come and eat it and then you get the XP.
I only get 20 seconds on that quest is that what everyone else gets?
On the cherry quest, yes. You start with that and for every item that you complete with Smurfy you get an additional 2 seconds, for every item that you complete with "good" or "ok" you get an additional 1 second.

It's really a shortcoming of Beeline that in the higher levels you have to get SO MUCH XP (Level 26: about 5000xp) to get up only 1 percent… However, with the games, the maximum XP you can get stays the same, throughout all the levels… With the most "difficult" game in the Baking Game (e.i. "Cherry Cakes"), the maximum you can get for playing a "good" game is only 45 XP. If you don't play it well, it's 35XP!!! Even worse: it doesn't matter if you manage to "keep going" for 15 mins or only 1 min, it stays 45 XP!!!
So, Beeline… Why not increase the number of XP, with the time you managed to keep the Cherry Cake baking going??? That would be fair!!!
Now I decided to skip the games at all. There's a lot more to gain for growing over 50 crops of magical blueberries/raspberries every 1 resp. 5 hours, than for playing the silly games… Only the miner's game is worth playing sometimes (if you're lucky)…
I agree they must revise the XP resourses for the manigames, In higher levels you require up to 15000XP for 1% XP , so there is no point to get 45XP from Baker Smurf minigame
When I did the baking game, strawberry cakes, after doing it succesfully I placed it far away and it gave the xp and it also said -20 smurfberries! Is this a bug?
Are you saying you gotten 20 smurfberries out of the quest?
I lost 20 smurfberries so I recovered but I don't know if I should play the mini game a nd this was not a quest.

No I lost smurfberries and I recovered and this was not a quest! It was just a mini game and it was real not practice.

The last time I played the baking mini game I lost 20 smurfberries but I knew how to recover so I did but tell me if I should do the mini game again.
U dont know if you dont try. U have to complete current quest to get to the next quest.
Hey, do i lose the xp from a cake (after finishing the cake game) if i place it on the grass and there is for the moment no free smurf available to eat the cake?

No, you do not lose the XP from a cake or potion when you place it somewhere in your village if there is no Smurf available to eat it.
