Expanding the village
ByAfter some time the village gets rather crowded with all the Smurfs living and working there, that is why the game offers a few ways to expand the village. Three of this expansion can be bought with Coins; one has to be bought with Smurfberries.
Land on the right side of the river
As soon as level 5 is reached, Papa Smurfs gives the task to build a small bridge across the river on the right side of the village, once the bridge has been finished (it takes 120 hours) the Smurfs can cross the river so that the land on the right side can be cultivated.
Land expansion to the left side of the river
The second expansion is to the left side of the village, in level 16 the big bridge is unlocked and can be build across the left river, so that the land on the left side can be accessed.
Cliffside expansion
The last free expansion can be gained in level 22 when it unlocks the staircases, after placing them at the cliff top on the far right side of the village the Smurfs can use them to climb up the cliff.
Paid expansion to the south of the village
The last expansion gives 30% more land to the south of the village, it can be bought in the Smurfberry-Shop for 25 Smurfberries. With version 1.1.2 of the game another paid land expansion has been added. As with the previous one it is available for 25 Smurfberries and adds another 30% of land to the south of the village. That means this item can now be bought twice to add additional land to the bottom.
The Beach
The beach section is another free (that is it can be obtained without the use of Smurfberries) land expansion that was added in version 1.1.1 of the app (and slightly modified in version 1.1.2). The beach is located at the far left side of the village and comes with special “summer” items to be placed on the beach (such as bath towels, etc.).
Despite the sand the beach is a normal land expansion, which means it can be used for all items, like the gardens, etc. and not only the beach accessoires
Expansion to the East of the Cliff
The Christmas 2011 version of the game (version 1.1.5 (iOS) and version 1.0.3 (Android)) has added a new free land expansion to the village.
This expansion is free, that means no Smurfberries are required to access the land. The Expansion is to the East of the Cliff Side and increases the space of the whole cliff side. Therefore, to get the expansion access to the cliff is required, that means the stone steps need to be placed at the cliff so the Smurfs can access it.
The Expansion itself is only available from level 26 onwards, before that the land is blocked by a timber and wood. After completing the current tasks from Papa Smurf (like, for example the Christmas quests) Papa will send out 5 Smurfs for 72 hours to search for supplies for Timber’s Mill.
Once the Smurfs return, it is possible to upgrade his Mill (by taping on) and Timber can clear the wood preventing you to access the new space.
Island Expansion
To get to the island the village has to be at least on level 19 and there has to be access to the beach. If Papa Smurf’s quests have been done regularly (tasks from seasonal updates might take priority) the “Dreamy Smurf & Island” quest line begins.
The first of those quests is to go and look for Dreamy Smurf. If no Smurfberries are used to speed up those tasks, it will take quite a while to get to the island, the following quests have to be completed before it can be reached:
- Send 2 Smurfs into the forest for 12 hours
- Send 2 Smurfs into the forest for 24 hours
- Send 5 Smurfs for 5 hours to find Dreamy Smurf
- Send Dreamy on an adventure for 24 hours
- Play Miner Smurf’s Mini Game (to get metal for the compass)
- Send 3 Smurfs into the forest for 24 hours to gather magnetic rock
- Send Dreamy Smurf on an adventure for 72 hours
- Send Dreamy Smurf on an adventure for the third time for 72 hours
- Smurf to the island
Without the use of Smurfberries and if the next task is done immediately after the previous one has been finished it will take about 9 to 10 days to get the island.
The island itself can be expanded to the south for 25 Smurfberries, just like the mainland, though this expansion is at the moment only available once on the island.
Expansion to the west on the island (dam)
To get an expansion to the west on the island, a dam has to be build on the island to stop the water and make it possible for the smurfs to access that land.
The dam can be build on level 24 and costs 8000 Coins. It takes 168 hours to build. The dam can only be placed at a specific spot. After choosing the dam from the build menu, look for a shadow of it and built it at the exact same spot.
2nd Expansion to the west on the island (Cliff top Expansion)
From level 28 onwards, it is possible to build stone steps on the island’s left side to make it so that the smurfs can access the land on top of the cliff.
To build the stone steps, the dam expansion needs to be completed first. After that, and if the required level has been reached, the stone steps come available from the first shop in the build menu.
There are two kinds of stone steps, the big ones, which can only be placed at one certain spot at the top of the cliff, and the small ones, for which there are up to three places (if all south expansions have been bought) where they can be placed. Both versions of the steps cost 10.000 Coins and take 120 hours to build (60 hours if Hefty Smurf is on the mainland).
The Mountains
The Mountains can be reached once the Hot Air Balloon has been placed at level 25. The Hot Air Balloon, and with it the mountain expansion, is free and does not cost Smurfberries nor Coins. For more information, please read the article about the mountains or the hot air balloon.
On level 22 with the island and Papa Smurf wants me to build a raft thing but it won't let me until I build a bridge across the river. ?????????
The Raft house can only be placed at a certain spot on the beach (look for a shadow of the raft house). The message about the bridge is just a wrong error message, it should say something like "can't place the raft house here".
how can i play the green potion. they give time to get to the line then move to the next time setting it does not give any line to be reach and my potion crack why is that?
This is a third potion creating modus besides "shake" and "hold". It says add" and means you have to tap and drag one of the potions from the top shelf into the big flask
I just did the latest update (island). I'm on level 26 How can I get the free land expansion because papa smurf is telling me dreamy is out adventuring, I didn't get the option to upgrade timber smurf or send 5 smurf out, have I missed the opportunity to get the free land expansion. I can not find it. Help please:)
If you have not done the land expansion quests you have to wait for the island/dreamy quests to be done, because they have now taken priority. When they are done you will get the upgrade timber's house quests
I followed the instruction to proceed with buying the land using the smurfberries, however, the game told me that i have reached the maximum that I could purchase. Can you tell me why is this? I have enough smurfberries for this transaction though.
You can buy the expansion with Smurfberries twice in your mainland village and once on the island (if you got the island). This is not unlimited.
So how can I get to the island?
I am currently on level 34 and my village is getting really crowded.

I didn't do Christmas tree quest before updating. Is it to late to expand to the east?
The Christmas quests have nothing to do with that they just had to be completed when the expansion was released. You have to complete the current tasks (at the moment Island and Dreamy Smurf tasks) and then, if you have the required level, you will get the tasks for the expansion.

Help! My cliff disappeared. I just reached level 22 to put my stairs to expand but when I went to do it the cliff is gone. :\
Have you deleted a bridge to that side? You need a completed bridge to get to the ciff. If you did not remove/loose a bridge, try restarting your device.
I haven’t deleted either of the 2 bridges placed. And I restarted my device and its still not there.
In that case you can either try the recover village feature described here: http://www.mysmurfsvillage.com/smurfs-village-gui… to restore your village to a point when everything was still fine, though you might loose some progress or contact Beeline about it
I am about to reach 25 smurfberries….which is the better choice to do first….expand south of the village…or get farmer smurf??
That is really something you need to decide for yourself depending on what you want in your village. If you would like more space, go with the expansion.
I already did move everything. It,s green, but when I press the check mark, it will say — cannot remove object.!
Then the only thing I can come up with is to look at a friends village (or random or featured) and see where they placed the bridge, then place it at the same spot.
I did that as well. Same spot as my two friends but still failed. I'm just confused that it,s green but when I try to click it it still doesn't work!

I deleted my wooden bridge but can't replace it with the stone bridge, either on the same spot or anywhere else. Why is that? Smetimes it,s lit green but still it can't be placed . Pls helP
You should be able to place ti when it is green. What happens if you try to place it when it is green? Have you tried restarting your device? Also, make some more space free around the place you want to set the bridge, that can sometimes help.
A piece of my right river is missing and just showed up in my village at the wrong spot what am I suppose to do
This seems to be a graphics glitch. Please try restarting your device, that should solve issues like this.
I cant place rhe large bridge on the right
Look at a friends/random/featured village where they placed it and put it in the same spot. Also, the bridge needs some space around it to be free, so maybe move some items that might be in the way.

Im at level 22 now, and achieved the staircase to the right cliff, but i cant placed it, the red spot doesnt turn green, im sure it is enough space around to place the staircase… anyone with a solution ?
The Staircases can only be placed at certain points. If you try to place it, look closely, there should be a shadow of the stairs. That is were you can put them.
does anyone know how to can remove that long log? (at the end of the village) as i have seem other peoples village
You can get that expansion at level 26 after you have been given the task to upgrade timber smurf's mill

After the quest, have you gotten a quest to upgrade Timber's House? Only when that quest comes up will you be able to do it. I think that it s possible that the Valentine's Day questline has taken priority, meaning that the quest to upgrade will come as soon as you have finished those tasks. At least that is how it was handled with the Christmas quests.

i have try to post the BIG BRIDGE to expand to the left, but i simply CANT DO IT .. at first tough it was an error so i restart the game, i have done the game 3 times to level 16 .. n i still CANT put the bridge please help me !
place your bridge at the top of the river. i mean at the left side of your village. or you should just try to place it all around the river until you can place it there. i tried it once and i managed to do it.
I’m at my level 17 but I cudnt cross the left side of the river. It says can’t place an object at that location.. Try dragging it to an open area…
You need to place a big wood bridge or stone brige across the river, also clear a lot of space close to where you want to place the brigdge. If you can not find a place that works, look at another villalge (neighbour/random/featured) and place it exactly where they did.

I was wondering if the stone bridge had any benefits over the wooden bridge?
Also iv heard that there are some placement issues between wooden and stone, where they cant be placed at the same spot. Is this so? Was wondering on changing my ong wooden ones to stone.

The only difference is the design, there are no real benefits between the bridges. I would advice that you first build the new bridge before deleting the wooden one, because otherwise you will not be able to access the land until the bridge is done. Everywhere where you can place the big wooden bridge you can place the stone bridge, but that does not go for the small wooden bridge. I have noticed that some people have expanded to the eastern cliff, I have also noticed that people have also expanded across the logs and have houses and smurfs going through and on the logs, does any one here know how to do that? And if they do please help?

I am on level 28 and got the land expansion from the cliff to the tree stumps. Then the tree stumps dissappeared and I got an additional land expansion beyond the tree stumps. I have checked my friends and random villages, nobody else has this land. I'm not complaining just curious as to why this happened. Does anyone know the answer?
There was a bug in the latest version that causes this. Even if your friends have expanded their land, you will not be able to see it just as they won't see your extra land. This will most likely be fixed with the next update.
I have done the latest updat and have the new land space to the right of my village. However when I visit friends I can’t see past their logs even though you can see they have apgraded and built their too ???? Why???
There was a bug in the latest version that causes this. Even if your friends have expanded their land, you will not be able to see it as they won't see your extra land. This will most likely be fixed with the next update.
I have some huge tree trunks on their side to the right of my village, past the cliff where I had to build stairs. Is there a way to get over these? (I'm on level 23)
At level 26 you will get a quest to upgrade timbers mill, after that he removes them and you get extra land

You can download it from the app store on your iOS device. If you use an Android device, these features are not available there, so there is no update for Android at the moment.
In what level do you get the beach? I'm on level 22…….my friend is on the same level with the beach.

After Level 16 you should buy your 2nd bridge to build on the left side and once it is complete the beach will automatically be there on that side, Not if you have an android however because it is far on its updates

Which expansion are you talking about? If you mean the latest one, that can only be obtained on level 26, so if you complete all of the current tasks from him he will send send out Smurfs to get wood for timber. After that you can get the land.

The task after that is to upgrade timber's mill, only after that the land expansion will be available.

You have to click on his house and the info window will pop up on the right side, at the bottom there is an "Upgragde 7500 Coins" Button. Click it and that should be it.

Tasks can not be skiped, but it is possible that it did not yet come up. Has he gotten the land beyond the cliff already (behind the big trees?). If not, this task should come up after the Valentine's Day quests if you have the latest version of the game.
Hi! My smurfs have returned from their 72 hours ordeal looking for timber, etc. However, when I clic on timber's house I do not have the option of upgrading his house, hence unlocking the expansion… Do I need to wait until Timber Smurf's wood exchange?
The "island" questline has taken probably priority, meaning that the quest to upgrade will come as soon as you have finished those tasks. You can not upgrade Timber Smurf's Hut before you get a task from Papa specifically asking you to do that.
I updated my game this morning and I cant wait for my smurfs to come back so I can start the tool quest to get the expansion to the East!! I'am at level 28 and I didnt think I would ''buy'' the 25 smurfberries expansion, now I'am sure I'm gonna do something else, like getting a tailor of hefty smurf.

How do I accomplish papa smurfs task of planting a magical shrub if I am out of smurfs to add additional gardening plots? I already have two magical shrubs, will I have to wait until the next level to accomplish this quest? Thanks

I recently updated my smurf village so now it’s all pretty and white. I’m on level 16 and should be able to build a bride over the left river but it won’t let me place the bridge. It keep telling me to put into a clear space but there’s nothing in its way. Could this be due to the update?
Just try it on a different spot and clear everything, all tiny items like mushrooms etc. as well, out of the way. If it does not work, just look at a friends/random village were they placed their bridge and put it in the same spot.
I have the same problem. I did delete a lot of small items, but I still can not place it. Could it be that there is a bug in the system?
Have you tried to look were your friends / random villages have placed their bridges and used the exact same place?

That is weired, I can place my bridges, tried on both my villages on iPhone and iPad, so it seems it is not a general error with this update. If you can not get it to work, I suggest you contact Beeline, maybe they can help (support@beeline-i.com)

Is that an expansion on top (or further) than the one you could purchase by upgrading timber smurf for.. ehhm what was it I think about 5000 or 7500 coins so he could buy some tools to chop down the row of trees you saw on the far right of the village? My 5 smurfs are currently gone for 72 hrs so I'll know soon…. ;D
Upgrading timber Smurfs mill is the last expansion. It is not up or down, but expans to the right of the cliff.
if you were not able to finish christmas quest before next update, will you still be able to receive the new land expansion?
Yes, you will then still be able to complete the quests, people who start the game will also get the expansion quests. The quest is not part of the Christmas Quests, it comes just after them (at least until the next update, then it will just come up on the according level).
Do you know when the beach will be available on the Andriod? I need more space and already used 25 berries to get more land.

If you buy the expansion to the bottom, it also applies to the beach/ clifftop etc. automatically, you do not have to buy it again.
Hey! Clumsy smurf says that we have to build a stone bridge, but we can't put it anywhere, neither the two rivers we have.
What can we do? Do we have to make a special place to build it?

You just have to make some space across the river where you want to place it, you can not place it everywhere across it. Also, you can not place it at the far top or far bottom of the river.
A solution would be to delete an old bridge and build a new one to complete the quest.

Tienes a construir el puente sobre el rio a la izquierda donde el borde alrededor del puente está azul. Tienes a dar lugar si no puedes colocar (to place?) el puente. Además no puedes colocar el puente en la parte superior o inferior (Sorry for my bad Spanish/No habló espanol muy bueno)
I can not extend to the left
You have to build a bridge across the left river (the big wooden bridge). This is possible from level 16 onwards. (On another note, please do not double post, everypost must be moderated first but will eventually be published)
I just bought the extra space n bought lots of items for the village but within half a day it says smurf move village and restart again to original village condition. And I lost all items n the space. How can I retrieve these back ?
You can try the recover village tip, if it was already saved you might be able to restore, otherwise you have to rebuy it (if you did not get the coins and/or Smurfberries back, please contact support@beeline-i.com they can restore them). I recently added a stone bridge to the right, but unable to delete the wooden one…the stone bridge is built RIGHT ON TOP of the wooden one and my Smurfs are still walking on the wooden one (graphics mistakes as the Smurfs are shown walking THROUGH it). Can the wooden bridge to the right be deleted?
No, the small wooden bridge to the right side can not be deleted, I have no idea why it let you build a stone one on top of it though, that should not have worked. However, you will have to delete the stone bridge or place it somewhere else.
You can delete the bridge with the latest update.
I have used all the village expanding available, when are you going to offer extra space?
You will have to ask the developers about that, we are not connected to them and hence have no knowledge about that. You can contact their support team at support@beeline-i.com. However, the last two updates each had one new land expansion (the free beach and the second paid expansion), so it is highly unlikely that the next update will include land again.
Can you delete a bridge?
Yes, but only the stone bridge and the big one, the small bridge can neither be deleted nor moved. However, if you delete all bridges across the river, you will not be able to access that area again until the new bridge is done
Just reached Level 22 and expanded to the east. Then I visited Random villages, and I see that many villages have the large tree in the background, just like the rest of the village does.
How do I get the large trees in the background on the cliffside expansion?

You can not do anything about that except restarting your game. Everyone who already had a village before the cliff expansion was added got it without the trees, everyone who started a village after that or reset it after that automatically got the trees. So if you really want them you will have to start over, which is probably not worth it.

For accelerate the smurfs works you must go to change data on your mobile then you retourn in smurfs and magically all is going to be rady!
This cheat does, however, come with punishments like the special Smurfs not giving XP anymore etc.
Does the large bridge need a smurf to build it? Because I have none building it even though I have a smurf available.
No, you do not need a Smurf for that. Actually, you do not need a Smurf for any kind of bridge that you are building. However, the bridges are the only items that do not need Smurfs to build them.
I bought the second land extension, but when it give me the land over the sea there is a green rectangle??? How can I eliminate this graphical mistake without any risk to lise my village?

I would try to completly power your device off and on again, that might do the trick. If not you can always use the recover village function to restore your village to a point where you had not bought the expansion, then buy it again (hopefully withhout the glitch). But you might loose some progress that way
I already bought the 30% more space before the expansion and now it's available again. That means I can get a total of 60% more land?

The land is only added to the bottom of your village. If that did not happen you should contact Beeline Support and explain what happened. They are the developers and can restore the 25 Smurfberries or give you the land. Their email is support@beeline-i.com

I think that you have to contact Beeline about scaredy and se if they can help you with him. support@beeline-i.com. To get to the island you have to answer a qouple of questions from papa smurf first and they take abou a week to do.
Scardey smurf is in the village, he just stands there at night, you can turn off special effects and find him then turn them back on and tap him.
I don't know for Android but iOS has 3 on the mainland and 2 on the island. Beware that if you buy more space on the mainland, you won't get more on the island.

It is not a bug, it has always been that way and it is only worth it if you would've expanded your village anyways.
