Expanding the village
ByAfter some time the village gets rather crowded with all the Smurfs living and working there, that is why the game offers a few ways to expand the village. Three of this expansion can be bought with Coins; one has to be bought with Smurfberries.
Land on the right side of the river
As soon as level 5 is reached, Papa Smurfs gives the task to build a small bridge across the river on the right side of the village, once the bridge has been finished (it takes 120 hours) the Smurfs can cross the river so that the land on the right side can be cultivated.
Land expansion to the left side of the river
The second expansion is to the left side of the village, in level 16 the big bridge is unlocked and can be build across the left river, so that the land on the left side can be accessed.
Cliffside expansion
The last free expansion can be gained in level 22 when it unlocks the staircases, after placing them at the cliff top on the far right side of the village the Smurfs can use them to climb up the cliff.
Paid expansion to the south of the village
The last expansion gives 30% more land to the south of the village, it can be bought in the Smurfberry-Shop for 25 Smurfberries. With version 1.1.2 of the game another paid land expansion has been added. As with the previous one it is available for 25 Smurfberries and adds another 30% of land to the south of the village. That means this item can now be bought twice to add additional land to the bottom.
The Beach
The beach section is another free (that is it can be obtained without the use of Smurfberries) land expansion that was added in version 1.1.1 of the app (and slightly modified in version 1.1.2). The beach is located at the far left side of the village and comes with special “summer” items to be placed on the beach (such as bath towels, etc.).
Despite the sand the beach is a normal land expansion, which means it can be used for all items, like the gardens, etc. and not only the beach accessoires
Expansion to the East of the Cliff
The Christmas 2011 version of the game (version 1.1.5 (iOS) and version 1.0.3 (Android)) has added a new free land expansion to the village.
This expansion is free, that means no Smurfberries are required to access the land. The Expansion is to the East of the Cliff Side and increases the space of the whole cliff side. Therefore, to get the expansion access to the cliff is required, that means the stone steps need to be placed at the cliff so the Smurfs can access it.
The Expansion itself is only available from level 26 onwards, before that the land is blocked by a timber and wood. After completing the current tasks from Papa Smurf (like, for example the Christmas quests) Papa will send out 5 Smurfs for 72 hours to search for supplies for Timber’s Mill.
Once the Smurfs return, it is possible to upgrade his Mill (by taping on) and Timber can clear the wood preventing you to access the new space.
Island Expansion
To get to the island the village has to be at least on level 19 and there has to be access to the beach. If Papa Smurf’s quests have been done regularly (tasks from seasonal updates might take priority) the “Dreamy Smurf & Island” quest line begins.
The first of those quests is to go and look for Dreamy Smurf. If no Smurfberries are used to speed up those tasks, it will take quite a while to get to the island, the following quests have to be completed before it can be reached:
- Send 2 Smurfs into the forest for 12 hours
- Send 2 Smurfs into the forest for 24 hours
- Send 5 Smurfs for 5 hours to find Dreamy Smurf
- Send Dreamy on an adventure for 24 hours
- Play Miner Smurf’s Mini Game (to get metal for the compass)
- Send 3 Smurfs into the forest for 24 hours to gather magnetic rock
- Send Dreamy Smurf on an adventure for 72 hours
- Send Dreamy Smurf on an adventure for the third time for 72 hours
- Smurf to the island
Without the use of Smurfberries and if the next task is done immediately after the previous one has been finished it will take about 9 to 10 days to get the island.
The island itself can be expanded to the south for 25 Smurfberries, just like the mainland, though this expansion is at the moment only available once on the island.
Expansion to the west on the island (dam)
To get an expansion to the west on the island, a dam has to be build on the island to stop the water and make it possible for the smurfs to access that land.
The dam can be build on level 24 and costs 8000 Coins. It takes 168 hours to build. The dam can only be placed at a specific spot. After choosing the dam from the build menu, look for a shadow of it and built it at the exact same spot.
Hi, I have updated the latest version and didn't finish the quests in old version, will I still get my free land expansion to the east of the cliff? Kindly advise.

i just completed the upgrade timber quest, and got my last free expansion… at this point… other than adding more houses, is there any benefit to leveling up? or at this point do we have all free special smurfs and everything else that makes leveling up so beneficial?

Well, you have most of the special Smurfs and the land expansion, but there will still be storyline quests from Papa Smurf and some items are only available in the higher levels.
Re: expansion to the east of the cliff.

I can acces the extra land but the wooden barrier is not completely disappeard. Only the top part. Will the wooden barrier completely disappear? I am now in level 27 and upgraded the mill.

It should have gone away, this sounds like a graphics glitch, try restarting your device. You can also try the recover village feature described here: http://www.mysmurfsvillage.com/smurfs-village-gui… to restore your village to a point before you got the expansion and upgrade timber's hut again, though you will loose some progress
Thanks for your answer. I think I'll leave it this way. Don' t want to lose my progress. Just spend a lot of berries and money on my island.
In my Mainland Village I had not yet bought the 30% more space for 25 smurfberries, figuring I would hold off until I actually needed the space. When I completed the quest to reach the Island Village, I bought the 30% more space for 25 smurfberries because the Island is really small. Unfortunately, the space was added to the Island Village, but not the Mainland Village, and I no longer have the option of purchasing more space in the Mainland Village.
Is that a glitch? (Cause everything else seems to be separated properly between items available in the Mainland Village and items available in the Island Village – so it would stand to reason that if the option disappeared for both villages, the benefit should have been in both villages.)
You can buy the space for the island once, and on the mainland you can buy the expansion twice, so it should still be there. Try restarting your device and check again. You can also use the recover village feature described here: http://www.mysmurfsvillage.com/smurfs-village-gui… to restore your village to before you bought the island expansion and rebuy it on the mainland, but you will loose some progress.
Hi, I'm at level 31 and the only task Papa Smurf asks me to do is to go to Greedy's Bakery to bake some cakes. And even when I complete that task he still has the exclamation mark above his head with the same task. What do I need to do? How do I send the smurfs to the forest or how do i proceed towards the island? Help please!!!!
You have to bake the specific item Papa Smurf is asking for and then place it in the village, after that the quest will be completed.

Please read the article, all you need to get the village is to place a bridge across the river on the left side. The island is permanent and will not be removed with the coming update.

The staircases can only be placed at a specific spot, look for a shadow of the stairs and place them right on top of that.
I am looking for a shadow of the stairs and can't seem to find it. do I not have enough space? if I don't, I don't know what to move.

Are you placing them in the right location? There are a few spots on the cliff that you can place the steps…and you need to place them at the exact points.
I am at level 16 I think it says to built a large bridge but it is not letting me do it …how do I built the bridge to the left??please help
Are you sure you are using the large wooden or the large stone bridge? Because the small one (the first one from the shop menu) will not work.

I noticed on some of my neighbors beaches and even in the picture on here that there are items close to the water and it won’t let me put items by the water. Why?
Because the outline where you can place items on the beach has been changed with the latest updates
How do you build the bridge to the island so you can build the rafting hut?
The message is misleading. Just find the ghostly image of the raft house along the water line near the boat. That’s the only place u can place the rafthouse
I got the option from the store to buy more space. Is says I will get 30 % more space. I spend a lot of smurfberries, but I did not get any 30% more space. The villiage expanded only 20% !?!
Which is a third less! How can this be? What can it depends on?

Hi… it's hard to compare what is 20 and what is 30%. But the option to buy land with smurfberries can only be done twice. And though it might not look like 30%, you just have to trust Beeline that the space expanded is indeed 30%. After latest update many problems. when you go to the iland, everything in slowmotion. And your friends can not see when you have water their flowers. Do you know if there are many un solved bugs in the newest release? We players "spend" a lot of money and time….. so this situation know is not okey…. I just want my village to work with my friends

I have the island upgrade and Papa Smurf wants to build a raft hut. When I try to build a raft hut it says can't place object need to build a bridge first. I don't know how to build a bridge.
You don't need to build a bridge .you should be able to build a raft on the water edge by the dock .
You can only place the raft hut on a set position on the beach. The game is giving wrong error msg. When you click on aft hut look for silhouette of hut on the beach and place it there.
hello i am using samsung galaxy y, i am encountering a problem in greedy smurfs playing game. i can play it but there is no images, all i can see is the timer and the word poor when i click the screen, the images of the oven are missing.

Hi, the cliff is towards the east of your main village. Are you at the correct level to place the stone steps? i.e. level 22?
I'm having trouble building a bridge to expand to the left. I'm at level 24 and when I try to build a bridge I get a message to try another place. Any ideas??
Just find the narrowest part of the river. U r supposed to build the left side bridge around level 16. This bridge connects to the beach. Not sure why u waited until level 24.
you have to make sure that the place is free (no flowers, no other items..) you can build the bridge at the lower curve but you have to place it very carefully because there`s only one place to build it
What bridge do i need to build to place my raft hut on the new island???
You don't need to build a bridge. If you are getting this message, it means you are placing the raft in the wrong position. You need to place the raft hut at the exact position designated by a ghostly line, next to Dreamy's ship.
two questions:

I think that you have to contact Beeline about scaredy and se if they can help you with him. support@beeline-i.com. To get to the island you have to answer a qouple of questions from papa smurf first and they take abou a week to do.
Can someone please tell me what version of the game do you need to get to the island/see a ship my version says 1.0.5a, this info is from the help menu. Also iam very concerned to update anything at this point, based on what iam reading regarding loosing everything and having to start from beginning. Have spent lots $ already. Do I have to update in order to move on and receive all one needs ? Thank You for any advice!
U cant pick a version to upgrade. If you upgrade now, you get the latest 1.1.8 which has everything. Every version has bug and its a hit an miss thing.
All of our 5 admins each with multiple villages and we are fine. Don't know why people running into all kinds of bugs.

I am level 20. I am on the island and have built two houses and have two rafts and the smurf count is 4/8 (upgraded houses).
However I cannot built more than 1 growing plot. I’ve tried removing plots from mainland but that doesn’t effect it. I have 4 smurfs just walking around the island doing nothing and it still says I need another smurf to lay another growing plot. Any ideas?

I got to level 27 bought baby smurfs house and now my quests went back to the beginning of the game. I still have my houses and expansion on east side of cliffs, but lost my island and my dam I built. So anyone know why my quests reset and why some of my crops moved to places where they shouldnt be allowed to be placed like ON OBJECTS?

The staircases are in the build menu… they can be found in between the lamp posts and the flags….they cost 5000 coins.

how can i get smurf berries faster
There are a few ways to get smurfberries. One is to collect it from Jokey, but it is very rare and random, same for Marco Smurf, The other way is to send out smurfs on rafts on the island, but that is also very rare. Another way is by leveling up. The fastest and easiest way is of course, simply to purchase them.
I just got to the island but the whole island is not showing. On my wifes village, she can see a river on the left side of the island. Mine does not show that. When I got to the island, I could see 2 gardens and the edge of a third garden but I cannot get to it. Is there anyway to see the rest of the island?

For 25 smurfberries, you can increase a 30% space to the south of your village.
I completed papa Smurfs christmas Request, tapped and tapped on the Mill, no result. I do not have any expansion on THE East Side. I sent à Message to beeline and i just had to wait, it Will come back. Even in level 41 nothing happened!
Tapped on the mill? Papa SMurf's last quest should be to send smurfs out to clear out the logs, supposedly to upgrade Timber Smurf's hut. Have you done that?
Please help. I have this same problem on iPhone 4S. I'm at level 31. When I tap on Timber's Mill, it says Locked until the Smurfs find materials to upgrade. However, I NEVER got the quest from Papa Smurf to go into the woods to find the tools. Can anyone help explain what I need to do?

I'm at level 19 and I was doing what Papa Smurf asks me just like you wrote up there to reach my island. I sent 3 smurfs to gather magnetic rock.
