Handy Smurf’s Mountain Hut (& Customization Shop)

By

smurf_handy_mountainWith the Barber Shop Update (version 1.3.8 on iOS) Handy Smurf’s mushroom house, along with his customization shop, is now available on the mountain.
>His mountain hut costs 30 Smurfberries and builds instantly. Just like on the mainland and the island Handy is stationary and does not walk around on the mountains.
Once Handy Smurf’s Shop has been build, houses on the mountain can be customized using the available resources (Wood, Dye, Stone). For that Blueprints need to be unlocked. Upon building his mountain hut five blueprints are already unlocked, an addition five can be bought for Smurfberries. It does not look like the blueprints on the mountain can be obtained as rewards (from Rafts, MIABs, Marco, …) like the ones on the mainland or island. These are only available for Smurfberries.

For a list of the available blueprints on the mountain please see our article about huts customization .

  1. vvincentt says:

If Handy is purchased on the mountains, are the first upgrade of small blue hut requires 500 coins like in the mainland?

    • Stroumpfette says:

Handy does not affect how much it costs to upgrade huts on the mountain. It costs 4 SB to upgrade bus on the mountain.

      • vvincentt says:

What I meant was in the mainland, a hut can be upgraded with 500 coins and we get addition smurf.
I wonder in the mountain, can we also get addition smurf by upgrading huts on the mountain if we purchase Handy?

        • Stroumpfette says:

You get an additional smurf when you upgrade huts on the mountain, but upgrading costs 4 SB. It has nothing to do with whether you have Handy or not.

  2. KAP says:

Does handy on the mountain allow you to dye the houses different colors?

    • Poet says:

No, he doesn't. Handy is only there to provide additional blueprints for your hut customizations.

      • Smurfy Friend says:

How do you dye huts on the mountain?

        • Smurfette says:

You need Painter Smurf on the mainland and then purchase the rainbow pool on the mountain, afterwards click on the pool, choose a colour and tap the house you want to paint

  3. Vivian says:

Is anyone else having a delayed start when you first start the game? It takes a good few seconds for the main screen to pop up, then another few seconds for me to be able to press start. Even after I get to my village, a slow delay to move around in village.
    Thank you.

    • Stroumpfette says:

Make sure you have no other applications running in the background when you play the game. It should help the issue with response time.

  4. Lovealot says:

I have a android (Kindle Fire).I am really enjoying the Smurf Village but I have not got the newest version does anyone know when it will be available or how I can get it. Thank you.

    • Stroumpfette says:

You may want to check with Amazon with regard to release dates for the updates. Traditionally, they seem to run a couple of weeks behind the Android release dates.

  5. Jean says:

Do you think beeline will add a color customization for the mountain huts? I like blue but there's too much of it…

  6. Kelsmurf says:

The shed customisation which comes when you buy Handy on the mountain looks really bad, it cuts across the mushroom house instead of being behind it like the other sheds. The new blueprint sets (unusual mushroom on mainland and the extra set on the mountain Handy) all cost SBs to unlock, you cannot get them through Jokey, MIAB or raft like the other blueprints so it is a bit disappointing seeing as I had to pay SBs to get Handy on mountain not realising I only got 1 set of customisations unlocked, one of which does not look very good. So I would advise against people paying SBs for handy on mountain.

    • Stroumpfette says:

That is the way all the blueprints work. They have to be unlocked either by retrieving them on rafts, or getting them as gifts from Jokey, or by purchasing the resource machine which unlocks all blueprints on the mountain, mainland, and island.

      • Kelsmurf says:

Thanks Stroumpfette. I know they have to be unlocked, I was just unhappy that the 2 new sets can ONLY be unlocked by SBs rather than by the other methods, thats all.

  7. Clapton says:

Hello. I cannot find the article on customizing huts that shows a list of the blueprints found on the mountain.
    Pleas help. Thank you.

    • Stroumpfette says:

We are no longer allowed to post url links in the comments on this site. You will have to go to the search box and type "customization of mushroom houses using blueprints." It is the third article. dated June 01, in which you can find the table with all the blueprints spelled out.

      • Clapton says:

        Thank you for the reply.
I went to the page you mention. It is not updated. The table is missing a number of blueprints, including the new ones on the mountain. Am I missing something?

        • Stroumpfette says:

I have learned that the article is already written/updated and is in our publishing process. It should be live in a day or so.

          • liv88 says:

I am still unable to see the updated article… I would really like to know which customization are available on the mountain before buying Handy in the mountain!

          • Stroumpfette says:

Apparently, the article has not been republished yet. It is waiting for approval and will be posted soon.

  8. ALFARIZ says:

I have just expanded my island for 50SB, and I found that the river and the side of the mountain are not long enough to match with the expansion (not drawn yet) it stops where the last expansion stops!!!
    Now my island looks ugly:-((
Does any one have the same thing or its me only ??

    • Smurfette says:

It happens to everyone, this is a bug and will be fixed. We have no ETA from Beeline about when this will be fixed, but hopefully with the next update.

  9. Smurfie says:

If Handy is purchased on the mountains, are the new blue prints available in the mainland to customize huts there too?

    • Poet says:

Handy has some new blueprints in the mainland, but for the new blueprints for the mountain, you can only get it at his shop on the mountains.

  10. Sue says:

Tried to update hut on mt. Spent three sb but didn't get any improvement ,what's up

  11. Twothrees says:

I lose my game for a month. By THE last update i lose my in THE islands. And à lose my goal for pearls to reward smurfberry, s

  12. Sweetdread1 says:

I think Beeline should makes some of the items cost berries or coins. For example if an item costs four berries it should also cost 100 coins, that way players have the option of either paying with berries or coins.VAlmost everything costs berries, it's ridiculous. Beeline should also consider more options to earn berries and make berries available as gifts. Beeline might also want to consider offering sales. For example one day all huts should be 50% off, another day farming equipment should be on sale, and another furniture should be on sale.

    • Clumsy says:

All of this Beeline used to offer, though they've steadily become more greedy recently. Some say it's because of the Christmas smurfberry glitch.

    • Smurf_Bichon says:

I think this is about the only path BeeLine could take right now, to keep the masses engaged. Not only did they accidently bestow SBs on people for free, but they offer 75 SBs for just $4 if you re-grow your SB bush.
And, if they offer items for coins, people would probably not even buy SBs, because BeeLine now has provided ways to acquire massive amounts of coins, such as with the playground, and the pink treasure chests. It used to be that you had to plant Golden Corn for days (or weeks!) to be able to afford to buy a Frog or Caterpillar.
If they kept the game simple, as it was two years ago when I first played, I would have gotten bored and quit long ago. BeeLine is keeping Smurfs Village interesting, that's for sure.

      • I have spent well over $1200 on this game!! How about giving me a discount on some things!!

        • Stroumpfette says:

You may not be aware this is a fan site run by volunteers. You can communicate your feedback to Beeline directly by typing beeline-i.com/support.php into the URL box of your web browser and filling out a support ticket. They welcome feedback from all of their players.

  13. Clumsy says:

It seems a little weak overall, considering Architect was for coins and other blueprints can be obtained through other means. I was hoping for something a bit better, considering he requires even more smurfberries again.

  14. Smurfella says:

If Handy is purchased on the mountains, are the new blue prints available in the mainland to customize huts there too?

    • Poet says:

No, the mountain blue prints can only be accessed through his shop in the mountains.

  15. Jack Russell says:

I'm an Android user so haven't seen the new update yet. When I bought the resource machine it unlocked all blueprints. Will this be the case for the mountains? Thank you.

  16. liv88 says:

Could you please post a link to the article about customizing huts which contains a list of the available blueprints? I can't find it…
