Jokey Smurf can be found in level three, after Papa Smurf gives the task to send out some Smurfs to search and rescue him. Jokey does not have his does not have his own mushroom house, either.
During the game, you will be asked by Papa Smurf to find Jokey saying “Jokey Smurf is around here somewhere, and I’m sure he’s got something for you. -Find Jokey smurf (he’s got a yello gift box0 and touch him for daily gift.)-”.
Once you complete the quest , Papa smurf pops up again to tell you :” Once a day you can find Jokey in the village and see what he has in his gift box for you”
Jokey gives a present once per day, but if he feels “pranky” he gives a bomb and the present explodes, otherwise he usually gifts flowers, cakes, potions, flags, etc., but sometimes, on very rare occasions though, also a Smurfberry.
WARNING! If the “time cheat” has been used while playing the game (i.e. changing the device’s time ahead so that crops and tasks are completed instantly) it can happen that, as a consequence, Jokey will stop giving you gifts (for more details click here).

Are you referring to Marco Smurf or Jokey Smurf? Marco Smurf only randomly appears in your friend's villages once every 24 hours, and sometimes can be a few days.
jokey told me to collect a package from him, hwhat should i do? i’ve been waiting for two days and can’t get any present from him…
May I ask what device are you using? And have you updated to the latest version of the game? Also, what IOS are you on?(assuming you are using an Iphone or Ipad)
you have to visit your friends village and find Marco when you find him go back to your village he will he give you the present and that`s the quest
I received a quest from joke to harvest a pear, however I have not unlocked the pears yet?
Pears are available to be grown on shrubs (trees) from Level 25 on. I'm on Level 23, and I received the same quest today, too. We won't be able to complete the quest until we reach Level 25.

What do you mean by not able to? What happens when you tap on Jokey? What message do you get? If you are unable to complete his quest, try finding Marco Smurf first, collect his gift, and then try again to collect from Jokey.

When you have neighbors on the map. The neighbor that has the blue medal next to the village is name is the village Marco is in . Go into that village, find Marco and tap on him. Then go back to your village to collect a gift.

I never voluntary altered the Time of my iPod Before but a couple of months ago I found the year ahead at 2032, and I was playing the game. I turned off immediately my iPod and when i turn it on again it took from my wifi the right Date and Time. From that moment Jockey, Marco and Smurfette doesn't give me Xp during the day. It means that now i need to wait till 2032 for having back them to works?

hmm..how long ago did this happen? Do you have your game backed up to your game center or Itunes? If so, it would be great if you could restore your game to the time where Jokey was still gifting you and then sync this to the game center as a back up… alternatively, if this was a recent incident, you could try and restore your game via tapping Papa Smurf's head 16 times from the game menu, under options, whereby up to a month's worth of saved games are located there.
All is on Game center.
It Happen during January, I don't remember exactly when. From Jan to today I advance a lot with the game and the older backup available on my device is dated 2012-03-01 so I can't go back to January.

I believe what people are trying to say is that the exclamation mark (!) is showing already. I have the same thing where it tells me to collect my gift from Jokey and he just repeats the same thing when I click on him. And I have definitely not collected my gift for today, and has the exclamation mark.
Then it could be the latest in the series of bugs. I am fortunate enough to complete the quest and collect the package from Jokey. Hopefully Beeline fixes it in the next update.
The exclamation mark (!) now has 2 meanings: Jokey has a quest for you and Jokey has a gift for you.
The ! over his head right now means he has a quest for you. So wait for 24 hours, then tap on him to collect a gift.

Wait till you see an exclaimation mark appear above his head, then tap on it. This is to say when it's time to collect a daily gift from him, receiving the gift will complete the quest.

Shimmy, have you done what the advice has been going around? Try and locate Marco Smurf and get his gift. Doing so seems to be releasing the bug blocking you from completing Jokey's quest.

I am getting the same problem, I have a quest to collect a gift from jokey, Who has an exclamation over his head but, when u tap on him he says the quest again “collect a gift from me”. Weird, although I did update the app recently so maybe it’s a bug in the update

i heard some people say that it increses the possibility of jokey giving you smurfberries when you complete the minigames with high score just before you tap him to get a gift. Anyone tried or heard about it?
I have not heard about it. Have you tried that and see whether it works?
I myself haven't tried yet because I only have few special smurfs with minigames. You have to finish 3 or 4 minigames with most difficulty with the highest score possible, and Jokey will give you smurfberries like once every three days. This is the hypothethis I heard.

i must say tht i cheated too when i got the update for the island. but i couldnt help myself, there was so many quests i wanted to do. but since then, jokey smurf ,baby smurf, scaredy smurf, snails, angry smurf havent been giving me any XP. and now im at the quest fromjokey saying "collect a package from me" ive waited for more than 480 hours and still nothing happened. help
Have you tried restoring your game to an earlier time?
I dont think there are any "good" saved levels to be restore because both waited more than 2 weeks.

hey im in level 24 and everyday jokey smurf gives me my daily gifts..
but as time past i use the time cheat and fast forward a few days and now each time i play Jokey never gives my daily gifts! and even my pets never let me pet them.. to ear extra XP

I bought my Tab last weekend and changed the time to the right time zone and all. I also downloaded smurf on the same day and started playing. A week has past but I am still stuck with the quest to get present from Jokey. Jokey never arrives. I am now in Level 15.
Jokey should be walking around your village with a gift in his hands. If he is not there, you should consider restarting, because that is a sign that your village data is corrupted.
All the rocks Jokey gives me look like the rocks you buy to get bonus XP for Miner's smurf. However, whenever I collect, it never gives me bonus XP for jokey's rocks. Is there are reason why?
No, there is not really a reason why, it has probably just been forgotten to programm it so that they give extra XP as well.

No, he will start giving gifts out daily again, but you will not get all of the ones you have lost due to cheating.
At level 4 and given the task to find Jokey Smurf but can't find him? Is it just a case of waiting?
That depends, are you still on the quest to send smurfs out to find Jokey? If so, you have to wait for them to come back, but if it says something like get a gift from Jokey, he should be there.
Jokey seems to be giving me a daily gift later and later each day. Does that mean at some point in the future I will not get a gift one day?
He should give a gift every 24 hours, meaning if you get the gift at 5 p.m. you can get it again at 5 p.m. the next day. He will not stop giving gifts.

You just have to send out a copule of smurfs and then he should be there on his own. What exactly is Papa Smurf's task?

That means you have to find Jokey in your village (you can read about him in our Jokey article) and tap on him. He should be there. If he is not, something has gone wrong with your village, in that case please contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com) for further assistance.
I used the time cheat and sped everything up til the end of this year. Jokey stopped giving me gifts but I didn’t care since his gifts weren’t always that great. Then the dreaded task of getting a gift from jokey smurf popped up and I thought oh crap, I can’t complete this task til the end of this year. But I kept playing anyway. Today I went in my friends list and found Marco smurf, when I went back to my village to collect his gift papa smurf thought I was collecting a gift from jokey and I was able to continue with the story line and received another quest from papa smurf….so go look for Marco!

You have to wait until the time you cheated towards has come in real life, i.e. if you set the time ahead for seven days, they will give XP and gifts again in 8 days. If you cheated a lot ahead, this can take a while. Another Option would be to set the clock ahead to the point you cheated to and collect the gift, but that will prolong the punishment.
Jokey smurf has compleatly vanished from my village, I am level 17 and I had the quest from grouchy about surprises but then nothing happens. I have been using the time cheat but this shouldn’t get rid of jokey should it?
No, the time cheat just stops him from giving gifts. Are you sure that he is gone, as he will not have the yellow exclamation mark anymore, just walk around in your village. I would advice you look for him in the Path Moving Mode or Tailor Smurf's Hat Mode if you have Tailor Smurf. If you really can not find him, you can try the recover village feature described here: http://www.mysmurfsvillage.com/smurfs-village-gui… to restore your village to a point when everything was still fine, though you might loose some progress
Ever since the new update, Jokey smurf has only given me bombs. Nothing else. Either its terrible luck, or something is wrong.
I am not aware of a bug with Jokey Smurf and he has given me other things than bombs as well, so i would guess you are unlucky at the moment. Just stick with him, he should stop giving bombs soon.

For Jokey Smurf, I have found that if you get his present around exactly the same time every day that you have a much higher chance of getting a smurfberry from him I have not figured out the timing yet, but when I played by changing the clock exactly 24 hours and waiting for a couple minutes I got a smurfberry nearly every time. If someone has the time to figure out the exact timing, i am willing to bet you can get a smurfberry every time you tap his present.

I have lost xp from grouchy and gifts from jokey. I changed the time 3x for just a couple of hours but have lost them since June/July. Should it take that long for them to come back?
No, it takes as long as you set the clock ahead. Are you sure you did never set the clock ahead for month (or maybe even accidentally changed the year)?
I have a question .. Since having a look at this site iv learned of this “time cheat” I have not done it but I am going on a hoilday on saturday n its in a different time zone …. Dose that mean my game will start stuffing up ???
No, if you just change the time zone and not the clock itself, you should not get any problems.

This happens if you have used the time cheat (i.e. set the time ahead to finish tasks/crops faster). It will return to normal when the time you set the clock ahead to has come in real life.

Now to your problem, yes, you will have to wait that year before everything works normal again unless you want to start your game over. It will turn normal again when the time you cheated towards has come in real life, i. e. if you set the time ahead for a week, it will work normal again in eight days.

It is a mobile game, you can not get it on the computer and as far as Beeline said you never will be able to. You need an iOS device or an Android device that is supported to play this game.
Ok I cheated… I set the date 2 years back so does that mean I have to wait 2 years together the gifts? If so there is no point in continuing is there? I'm totally new to this. I only got it last night… Can you play this and not get the berries without paying of course?

I also stopped receiving gifts from Jokey, and xp from caterpillars and snails…I don't understand why, I went away and had my ipod touch set to airplane mode…how do I get them to start again? Please help…
This happens when you have used the time cheat (i.e. set the time of your device ahead) or for some other reason changed the time on your device. They will start giving again as soon as the time that your device was set to has come in real time

The only reason I know for Jokey not giving gifts is if the time has been set ahead and a gift from him was collected. If you did not do that, you should contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com) to see if they know why it is happening and have a solution

Grouchy should not be lost, he will not give you XP anymore, until the real time has arrived, but he should still be in your village.

If you have set it a year ahead, you will have to wait a year, otherwise only as long as you have advanced the clock

You can't, you now have to wait untill the date to which you have set the clock ahead has come in real time. From that point on he will give you gifts again, but not before that

You can't, the game is only available on devices running iOS software (that is Apple's iPod touch, iPhone or iPad). It is not available for other platforms
hi, i'm already in level 6 but i've noticed that Jokey wasn't around my smurf village. why might be the reason for that?
You have to do Papa Smurfs tasks regularly, so if you have neglected them, you might have to do a couple of them before he sends out the Smurfs to find Jokey

Ok. You have 2 choices. 1) go to friends village find Marco and return to your own village and find him there. You will get XP and jokey is happy. Or 2) go to friends village and look in right hand bottom corner. There is a present. Tap on it and you can give your friend a gift from jokey. This is what he wants. YOU CAN ONLYDO THIS IF THEY HAVE THE MOST RECENT UPDATE. Otherwise get around it by using Marco.

When was the last time you saw Marco Smurf? Sometimes, he only reappears once a week.
wait for 24h to get a package from jokey. If u still dont get a package after 24h, then u need to have friends so u can find Marco in neighbor village.
