Lazy Smurf

By

Lazy Smurf does not come with his own house, but with a pond, he is stationary, relaxing at the pond and catching fish. He is available for 30 Smurfberries and buying him makes it possible to have a pond in the village before reaching level 26, when the normal pond is unlocked.

Lazy has a fishing mini-game; the goal is to catch as many fish as possible. There are fish in six different colours, but it can also happen that a boot or water plant is caught. A fishing collection book keeps track of every fish or boot that has been caught. For every ten fish of the same colour that a badge that grants bonus XP is rewarded.

Moreover as soon as 50 boots have been caught every time the game is played a bonus XP of at least 500 is granted, even if only one water plant has been taken out of the water.

The gameplay is rather simple, every time it is played there are five possible casts. Cast the line into the water by tapping on the place in the pond where it is supposed to be placed. When Lazy falls asleep a fish is on the hook. To pull him out of the water just tap Lazy Smurf twice, once to wake him up and once to make him pull the fishing rod. Now a water tank appears at the bottom of the display with a rectangular box and the fish starts moving within the water tank. To catch him just make sure the fish stays inside the box.

Lazy Smurf's game giving very low xp! My red fish total is 59 but badge only shows 10 not 10 x5 ? Other fish colour badges counting up as normal, only the red fish badge not timesing correctly. Does this affect the total xp I am receiving? Disappointed with this game – expected xp to be higher!

  2. MollyV says:

Personally I would NOT reccomend getting lazy smurf if you don't have lots of smurfberries. I'd buy almost ALL of the other huts before this, I find it boring and it barely gives you any XP. You sit and wait and wait and wait and even when you've got a fish on the line you just click side to side, its very repetitive and boring. I would not reccomend getting lazy, I think it's a waste if smurfberries and wish I could take it back. The rewards you get are not worth the smurfberries you need to spend to get this. If you're looking for a mini game I'd reccomend painter, (mainly because its relatively enjoyable) or gutsy because I often find I get a lot of coins and XP from that game. :)

  3. lasoe says:

    nice blog.

  4. ella says:

Which hut is the best to buy? (Character's hut) need help because I just bought a smurfberry bush!

    • Smurfette says:

That is something you have to decide for yourself, I advice to look at our articles about the huts you consider to see what they do. Then you have to chose which one is the best for you, it all depends on what you want (decoration, XP, Resources …)

  5. Margot says:

Would you choose Lazy smurf or Clumsy smurf?

    • Stroumpfette says:

Lazy Smurf takes awhile to build up your fishing badges. And, even after you manage to collect 50 boots and other fish, it seems the reward per game is around 500-600 points. With Clumsy Smurf, you can play every 6 hours. Depending on your level, Clumsy gives points per fall (which goes up by 5 points every time you level up). He falls between 10 and 14 times, and then you get points when he returns to his hut. If you're interested in lots of XP, personally, I'd go with Clumsy.

    • bthcnrd59 says:

Clumsy because of XP, Lazy is fun also. I have both.

    • bthcnrd59 says:

Lazy Smurf, just went fishing, the points get good with acquired badges. It's fun…Enjoy your game.

  6. Um essa says:

Hi, I'm in level 35. where can I build the bridg

  7. smurfici says:

can someone tell me what i better to buy : Lazy smurf, golden axe or miners smurf hut?????please help i don't know how to choose

    • Dreamy_Smurf says:

Do you have other smurfs you yet need to buy with sb's? Otherwise I suggest the golden axe.

      • smurfici says:

i have painter smurf, and marina for sb..i don't know is it better for xp and coins to buy lazy,or miners hut or golden axe….i think i will buy axe if you say it's good

        • Smurfette says:

For XP the golden ax is always good, miner is not really worth it (xp wise) in comparison to the axe. As soon as you have caught 50 boots you will always get 500 XP from lazy (at the most every 6 hours). I come with the golden axe and smasing three to four stones at a time usually over 500 XP, so in that regard the axe would also be better.

  8. Baker smurf says:

Anyone know where to buy lazy smurf I can’t find him I’v tried to search it up on the Internet but it still doesn’t say

    • Stroumpfette says:

Lazy smurf is the one with the Fishing game. He is in the list of special smurfs you purchase with Smurfberries.

  9. Andrada says:

Which one should I buy? Lazy smurf or painter smurf? Which is best? Thank you

  10. Linda says:

Why does my friend only get 1 XP etc when I get 502 XP as the smallest amount? I get that when only catching grass. She can get 5 XP only when catching 5 fishes.

    • benny says:

perhaps you already have boots badge. check this!
Moreover as soon as 50 boots have been caught every time the game is played a bonus XP of at least 500 is granted, even if only one water plant has been taken out of the water.

  11. Linda says:

The papa smurf "normal" statue will not give me any XP. What can I do to to fix this, I spent 10 smurf berries on it.

  12. benny says:

why lazy should be brought before level 26?

  13. Ellie says:

Is it worth getting lazy smurf??

  14. Krisztina says:

Does anybody know what happens if you collect 10badges of every fish?

  15. Decipher says:

Do you know if there is a certain time or pattern as to which items available to purchase with smurfberries will go on sale? For example, Lazy just went on sale a few weeks ago but I didn't have enough smurfberries at the time to grab him, will he go on sale again in a month?

  16. Snuggly Smurf says:

    From my husband:

    Green= 5pts, Yellow = 10 pts, Red = 15 pts, Purple = 20 pts, Blue = 25 pts, Boots = 2 pts, Weeds = 2 pts.
    Green Badge = 50 pts, Yellow Badge = 100 pts, Red Badge = 20 pts, Purple Badge = 300 pts, Blue Badge = 500 pts, 50 Boots = 500 pts
I gathered data from 25 fishing expeditions, and the formulas using those numbers matched the awarded experience points every time.

  17. Smurfvillagefan says:

Am I right? If you got 50 boots which I just got, you get 500 xp every time you play? That is a big bonus!!!

    • Brainy says:

after playing for awhile, it gives u at least 500xp for catching boots, weeds etc. Not bad. But the fishing game is so boring so i dont play it anymore.

  18. Sara says:

When you unlock the pond at level 26 does it come with the minigame aswell? Or only lazy smurf comes the minigame?

  19. Trey says:

Finally lazy went on sale! Got him for only 15 smurfberries. Just wondering tho, is it smart to toss the line at waves in the water or not

    • Smurfvillagefan says:

If you want together a boot, yes. I am not sure if you will get a boot, but it did for me.

  20. Smurfy says:

I calculated value of the fish without earning badges in that round:

    Green – ?5
    Yellow = 10
    Red – ?15
    Purple = 20
    Blue = 25

    Boot = 2
    Weed = 2

I used the scores for 5 consecutive games, where I did not catch any green or red fish. Based on the scores for the yellow, purple and blue, the scores that I placed for red and green follow the 5 point increase pattern. If they are different, I'd update this post.
I don't have enough badges to know how much each are worth.

    • Brainy says:

fishing game gives very low xp at the beginning. But after playing for a while (I think experience or badges collected), it will give you at least 500 for catching only boots and weeds.

  21. Namie says:

Grouchy has given a task: Buy a pond. So if I buy Lazy smurf (who comes with his pond), will that counts towards completing Grouchy's task?

    • Brainy says:

The quest wants a pond you can buy with coins. This pond does not have lazy. Remember that no quest makes you spend smurfberries.

      • Erin says:

Does the pond you can get from the Smurfs' Grabber count towards completing this task? I traded my Smurfs' Grabber items in for a bridge but it did not open up the area leading to the beach, I still had to buy a bridge (and wait 5 days) to be able to access that. I just don't want to waste my Smurfs Grabber items again to get something that I am just going to have to buy anyway. Thanks!

        • Brainy says:

I dont know. After I got the smurf statue from smurf grabber, I quit smurf grabber.

  22. Sylvia says:

How do I build slouchys house

    • Sassette says:

You can only build slouchys house on the island not in your old village. You can find him in the shop on the island for 2000 coins

  23. lonesmurf says:

So if I if I already have the badge in that represents you caught 50 boots does that mean I will always get above 500 xp every time I play Hoping to wait your reply smurfette tnx.

    • Smurfette says:

Yes, as soon as you get 50 boots you will get at least 500 XP everytime you play, meaning theoretically you could get 500 XP every 6 hours

  24. Ma G says:

I have the Island and have built a house for Slouch Smurf? What does he do? He seems to just wander around?

  25. slouchy smurf says:

who do you think is better nat smurfling or lazy smurf?

  26. Vince says:

I have 150+ boots and only get the 500 XP mentioned above. Concentrate on fish. Blue awards highest points 500 every ten) Gree the lowest points.

  27. Mark says:

Has anyone gotten 100 or more boots total? I'd like to know if the 500xp per play reward doubles if you get that far… or if I should just concentrate on getting fish when I play now that I've reached 50 boots. Thanks!

  28. kutitang says:

    when lazy smurf become sale

  29. camelian says:

how much XP do you usually average from this game? I have about 40 smurfberries and am looking for the best "return on investment" if you will..haha. So far I think the golden pick in the mine has been the best value

    • Smurfette says:

I agree, the best returns, in my opinion, are Lazy Smurf as soon as you have gotten 50 boots, because than you get at least 500 XP everytime you play and the golden axe. Before you get the 500 XP bonus you do not get that much from this game, sometimes only 10 or so XP.

      • camelian says:

But then I wonder if it's better to just get 6 extra smurfs for 30 smurfberries.
        If I plant magical raspberries twice a day, that yields 500XP x 6 = 3,000XP
I could also plant corn or golden potatoes if I need gold

        • Smurfette says:

Getting extra Smurf is always forth it before all else if you will only go by how much XP / Coins you can get. If you have not Upgraded the houses for Smurfberries, I would do that first though, because that only costs 4 Smurfberries / Smurf

  30. Vanity Smurf says:

Is it possible that getting 100 boots will bring you 100 XP for every game you play? Just a thought….

  31. Victoria says:

I seem to get badges and XP for no reason. For example, On the last game i played i got 2 badges. when I look at the book, I have 36, 38, 55, 40, 56 fish and 64 boots. I understand I would get a badge for the 40th fish caught, but I can’t figure out why I get another badge. I don’t want to look a gift horse in the mouth. I’m just curious.

  32. Anne says:

    After I got 50 boots, my XP is over 500 everytime I play…. Always apear “new badge”, even when I don’t get a new 10 fishes…. I think it’s a bug… So enjoy….

  33. Smurftastic says:

What happens once I catch 10 of each fish? Have I maxed out the amount of bonus XP I can get from the fishing game, or do I get points for every 10 fish of each color that I catch?

  34. Smurflover says:

You can play lazy's fishing game EVERY 6 hours not only once a day so the xp definitely adds up each day.

  35. Kiekie says:

I'm thinking about buying lazy smurf. How Many times in 24hours can you play the game? does it give xp as well as coins?

  36. jose says:

not sure if I understood the text correctly… can you get him without smurfberries at level 26?

    • Smurfette says:

No, you can get a pond as a decorative item at level 26 (basically the same pond, just without lazy). Lazy itself is only available for Smurfberries.

  37. I recently got lazy, but I don't want him. When you delete an item that costs smurfberries do you get the smurfberries back?

  38. Smurfy smurf says:

Since i upgraded my smurfs few days ago…lazy smurf s game got more difficult…does anyone experience the same problem?

  39. Lynn says:

Is there a way to predict which “splash” is a boot? Using the tip above (click exactly where the fish splashed), I’ve been able to get my 10-fish badges quickly. Now I am trying to get 50 boots, so I click on the splashes that do not show a fish. But I am catching mostly water plants! I catch more than 5 water plants for every 1 boot!
There must be a way to predict the “boot” splash????
Thank You for any help, tips, or suggestions!

    • Smurfette says:

I haven't found one yet, but I will keep a look out the next days when playing the game, I will let you know if I find something

    • Nobody Smurf says:

I use the ripples that aren't caused by fish. I find that if I get the bobber in the water before the ripples disappear, I usually get a boot.

  40. Rafa says:

My lazy smurf and his pond have disappeared. Not sure how this happened. Everything else in the village is fine.

  41. xrobotlove says:

I've noticed that when a fish splashes in the water or jumps out of the water, if you cast the line out to exactly where that fish landed, 9 times out of 10 you will catch that specific fish. For example, if I see a green fish splash in the water and I click on the exact spot the green fish splashed, I will catch a green fish. If I patiently wait and only cast out my line when I see a fish splash, I am able to catch specific fish. If I need two more green fish in order to get a 10-green-fish badge, I wait until I see green fish splash. Since I've been doing this, I have not caught a single water plant and have only caught one or two boots. I think you should include this in your lazy smurf guide. It is definitely more than coincidence since it works basically every single time. The only times it hasn't worked, is when I may not have clicked *exactly* where that fish splashed (I may have clicked just a tiny bit to the left or to the right of the splash).

    • Greedy Smurf says:

      THX! That was very helpful

    • Minott12 says:

This works for me EVERY time! Thanks for the tip!

    • Clumsy says:

Super explanation. I found that when fish jump out of the water to the right i need to click slightly to the left of where they landed. If they swim i need to click just ahead of were they disappeared. I am having a bit of trouble though on the right side of the pond and when fish jump to the left.
