Lazy Smurf

By

IMG_0247_2 Lazy Smurf does not come with his own house, but with a pond, he is stationary, relaxing at the pond and catching fish. He is available for 30 Smurfberries and buying him makes it possible to have a pond in the village before reaching level 26, when the normal pond is unlocked.

Lazy has a fishing mini-game; the goal is to catch as many fish as possible. There are fish in six different colours, but it can also happen that a boot or water plant is caught. A fishing collection book keeps track of every fish or boot that has been caught. For every ten fish of the same colour that a badge that grants bonus XP is rewarded.

Moreover as soon as 50 boots have been caught every time the game is played a bonus XP of at least 500 is granted, even if only one water plant has been taken out of the water.

The gameplay is rather simple, every time it is played there are five possible casts. Cast the line into the water by tapping on the place in the pond where it is supposed to be placed. When Lazy falls asleep a fish is on the hook. To pull him out of the water just tap Lazy Smurf twice, once to wake him up and once to make him pull the fishing rod. Now a water tank appears at the bottom of the display with a rectangular box and the fish starts moving within the water tank. To catch him just make sure the fish stays inside the box.

    I've noticed that when a fish splashes in the water or jumps out of the water, if you cast the line out to exactly where that fish landed, 9 times out of 10 you will catch that specific fish. For example, if I see a green fish splash in the water and I click on the exact spot the green fish splashed, I will catch a green fish. If I patiently wait and only cast out my line when I see a fish splash, I am able to catch specific fish. If I need two more green fish in order to get a 10-green-fish badge, I wait until I see green fish splash. Since I've been doing this, I have not caught a single water plant and have only caught one or two boots. I think you should include this in your lazy smurf guide. It is definitely more than coincidence since it works basically every single time. The only times it hasn't worked, is when I may not have clicked *exactly* where that fish splashed (I may have clicked just a tiny bit to the left or to the right of the splash).

    My lazy smurf and his pond have disappeared. Not sure how this happened. Everything else in the village is fine.

  3. Lynn says:

    Is there a way to predict which “splash” is a boot? Using the tip above (click exactly where the fish splashed), I’ve been able to get my 10-fish badges quickly. Now I am trying to get 50 boots, so I click on the splashes that do not show a fish. But I am catching mostly water plants! I catch more than 5 water plants for every 1 boot!
    There must be a way to predict the “boot” splash????
    Thank You for any help, tips, or suggestions!

    Since i upgraded my smurfs few days ago…lazy smurf s game got more difficult…does anyone experience the same problem?

  5. I recently got lazy, but I don't want him. When you delete an item that costs smurfberries do you get the smurfberries back?

  6. jose says:

    not sure if I understood the text correctly… can you get him without smurfberries at level 26?

  7. Kiekie says:

    I'm thinking about buying lazy smurf. How Many times in 24hours can you play the game? does it give xp as well as coins?

  8. Smurflover says:

    You can play lazy's fishing game EVERY 6 hours not only once a day so the xp definitely adds up each day.

  9. Smurftastic says:

    What happens once I catch 10 of each fish? Have I maxed out the amount of bonus XP I can get from the fishing game, or do I get points for every 10 fish of each color that I catch?

  10. Anne says:

    After I got 50 boots, my XP is over 500 everytime I play…. Always apear “new badge”, even when I don’t get a new 10 fishes…. I think it’s a bug… So enjoy….

  11. Victoria says:

    I seem to get badges and XP for no reason. For example, On the last game i played i got 2 badges. when I look at the book, I have 36, 38, 55, 40, 56 fish and 64 boots. I understand I would get a badge for the 40th fish caught, but I can’t figure out why I get another badge. I don’t want to look a gift horse in the mouth. I’m just curious.

  12. Vanity Smurf says:

    Is it possible that getting 100 boots will bring you 100 XP for every game you play? Just a thought….

  13. camelian says:

    how much XP do you usually average from this game? I have about 40 smurfberries and am looking for the best "return on investment" if you will..haha. So far I think the golden pick in the mine has been the best value

    • Smurfette says:

      I agree, the best returns, in my opinion, are Lazy Smurf as soon as you have gotten 50 boots, because than you get at least 500 XP everytime you play and the golden axe. Before you get the 500 XP bonus you do not get that much from this game, sometimes only 10 or so XP.

      • camelian says:

        But then I wonder if it's better to just get 6 extra smurfs for 30 smurfberries.
        If I plant magical raspberries twice a day, that yields 500XP x 6 = 3,000XP
        I could also plant corn or golden potatoes if I need gold

        • Smurfette says:

          Getting extra Smurf is always forth it before all else if you will only go by how much XP / Coins you can get. If you have not Upgraded the houses for Smurfberries, I would do that first though, because that only costs 4 Smurfberries / Smurf

    when lazy smurf become sale

  15. Mark says:

    Has anyone gotten 100 or more boots total? I'd like to know if the 500xp per play reward doubles if you get that far… or if I should just concentrate on getting fish when I play now that I've reached 50 boots. Thanks!

  16. Vince says:

    I have 150+ boots and only get the 500 XP mentioned above. Concentrate on fish. Blue awards highest points 500 every ten) Gree the lowest points.

  17. slouchy smurf says:

    who do you think is better nat smurfling or lazy smurf?

  18. Ma G says:

    I have the Island and have built a house for Slouch Smurf? What does he do? He seems to just wander around?

  19. lonesmurf says:

    So if I if I already have the badge in that represents you caught 50 boots does that mean I will always get above 500 xp every time I play Hoping to wait your reply smurfette tnx.

  20. Sylvia says:

    How do I build slouchys house

  21. Namie says:

    Grouchy has given a task: Buy a pond. So if I buy Lazy smurf (who comes with his pond), will that counts towards completing Grouchy's task?

    • Brainy says:

      The quest wants a pond you can buy with coins. This pond does not have lazy. Remember that no quest makes you spend smurfberries.

  22. Smurfy says:

    I calculated value of the fish without earning badges in that round:

    Green – ?5
    Yellow = 10
    Red – ?15
    Purple = 20
    Blue = 25

    Boot = 2
    Weed = 2

    I used the scores for 5 consecutive games, where I did not catch any green or red fish. Based on the scores for the yellow, purple and blue, the scores that I placed for red and green follow the 5 point increase pattern. If they are different, I'd update this post.
    I don't have enough badges to know how much each are worth.

    • Brainy says:

      fishing game gives very low xp at the beginning. But after playing for a while (I think experience or badges collected), it will give you at least 500 for catching only boots and weeds.

  23. Trey says:

    Finally lazy went on sale! Got him for only 15 smurfberries. Just wondering tho, is it smart to toss the line at waves in the water or not

  24. Sara says:

    When you unlock the pond at level 26 does it come with the minigame aswell? Or only lazy smurf comes the minigame?

  25. Smurfvillagefan says:

    Am I right? If you got 50 boots which I just got, you get 500 xp every time you play? That is a big bonus!!!

    • Brainy says:

      after playing for awhile, it gives u at least 500xp for catching boots, weeds etc. Not bad. But the fishing game is so boring so i dont play it anymore.
