Missing friends in Neighbour Map
By SmurfyFanSometimes it can happen that either your Facebook or your GameCenter or both friends do not appear in the neighbour map.
The first thing to do then is to check if your Internet connection is working correctly, if it is, close and open the Smurfs App or log out and then in again into the affected service (i.e. GameCenter or Facebook). This should help most of the time and the friends should reappear.
Some users have also reported that if you try to connect to Facebook via your phone number instead of your email address the friends do not show up, but when they log into Facebook with the email address everything is fine, so please make sure you are logging in with your email.
If it does not help it can also be a server issue, for example if the developers of the game are doing maintenance. In that case just wait a couple of hours or a day and then the neighbours automatically reappear.
For Android Users: It has been reported that only the first 20 Facebook Friends (sorted by Facebook ID) are checked by that game as neighbours. If they do not play Smurf’s Village, than they do not show up. Beeline has been informed about this issue and should be able to fix it with one of the coming updates.
Important: Your friends are never lost, as long as they have not been unfriended in GameCenter or Facebook. As long as they are your friends in those services, they will eventually reappear and are not deleted.
I am a android user, mostly I can not see my friend in the map, than I look at a random Village and go back to the map, sometimes I have to look at 10 villages or so and suddenly my friend appiers, this may help someone to make friends reapier after you can not see them anymore
but jeeez i don't wanna have to do this every bloody day. This really is annoying really.

Yes. Banishing a friend just means that you won't see them. If you do not want them to see you anymore you have to unfriend them.
I am having trouble seeing my friends. I see them on my gc lists but don't show up on map. I tried every thing you said and still don't see them I am an iPad user so I guess I'm not the only one the only thing I guess I can do now is wait. Ps I take it they can see me cause I receive gifts but still don't see them. Please help with this problem Thank you
There is really nothing you can do. We just have to wait for Beeline to fix this.

I have got the same problem. Trying again and again! Reciving gift. Friends water my plants and I can not do anything. i had this and almost deleted the game. Beautiful game, but if it does not work,!?! Maybe we should became friends, – + – = +.

I have an android and my sister has an iphone, it says its possible to be friends through facebook, but i can't figure out how to do this. please help.
If you are using Android you can not be neighbours with iOS users and vice versa even if you are connected via Facebook
(I don't expect this to be posted just some explanation for you – however you may post it after editing.
As I posted in another page here. there is a serious problem with the current version of SV – It only looks at the first 20 FB ids. We have been testing and checking out this problem and I can now look at a FB friend list and tell you who the first 20 FB ids are on the at account – Those will be the ONLY ones that will show up on your SV friend list. Of course if they do not play SV then they will not show up. This has been confirmed with the many players on a FB page dedicated for android SV players. Maybe if you post it here we will get beeline to fix this issue quicker.

No, it seems to be taken by Facebook ID. You could create a new Facebook account only for the game and add the 20 people you like to see most until this is fixed.
seriously this is crazy. the fact alone that you NEEEED to use a facebook account to connect with friends. As none of my "real" friends play the smurfs for android, I have added some 20 people I met on fb to my facebook's friends list, in order to have them as neighbours in the game. However I actually would not want them to be friends with me on facebook. And then only one or two of them appear as friends in the game. Now you tell us we need to make a new fb account especially for the game. honestly. This is…medieval…And I don't want to use bloody facebook for the game anyway.
Nobody is forcing you to created a second facebook account, it is only a suggestion. There is at the moment nothing like “Game Center” available for Android that allows Beeline to connect the players of their games, so they have no choice to use Facebook. You can let Beeline know about your frustration by contacting them at support@beeline-i.com but in the end I do not think there is anything they can do at the moment.

I was having trouble viewing my neighbor map so, I followed your instructions and signed out of facebook, and signed in through game center. Since I have done that, my crops have been stuck on the same growing time for over 24 hours, as well as my papa smurf mission, and my flowers. But, my mini games have the correct times! Also, when I visit my neighbor map now, it says bad time device! I have never used the time cheat! What do I do? I dont want to lose all of my progress.
You should restart your device if you have not done so, that should fix this.
I have the Android App for Smurfs. My friend and I have the same phone. She can see me. I cant see her. I know that my internet is fine. This is REALLY annoying.
Me and my sister recently started playing this game. We both have android and are added on facebook. We both have connected to facebook on smurfs village. I am able to visit her village, however she is unable to visit mine. We are on the same wifi and are both connected. Not to mention we have the same exact phone. She is able to visit random villages, but neither of us can look at the featured. Is there any fix?

Can we get an update so that Anroid users can be friends with apple users and vice versa?
Beeline said that they might do it in the future, but if they do, it is a long way away. That means I would not expect it in the forseeable future.

On the first time I started playing this game, I just picked the option 'never remember password for this browser' when attempted to log in facebook.
Since that, I always be forced to relogin everytime I launch the application.
Now I'm seeking a way to clear the cookies and choose 'always remember', so that I'm just required to log in facebook once.
Is there any way to do that?
On iOS, go to Settings, Safari and there you should be able to clear it. If you did not make the settings on the browser, but for Facebook itself, you will have to change that on Facebook, but i am not sure how that is done.

I erased the history and cookies on my browser as well as removed the app on facebook, then relogged in. Now the game is bounded with my facebook acc. unless I want to change it.

I do not know a way to clear the data of build in browsers. If you have connected your village to game center (but only then) you can delete and reinstall the app. But before you delete it, better make an iTunes backup just to be sure that you will not loose your village.
I am connecting using my FB account. I have a good internet connection and have tried all of the suggested steps:
Logged out of FB and logged back in
Closed out of the app and reloaded it
Shut down my device and restarted it
I still cannot see any friend or send any gifts. Is there a FB issue? I just tried to submit this comment using FB and it wouldn't let me. Said there was an error and to try back later. So I'm submitting this as a Guest.

Regarding the issue that you can not post via FB, this has someone else mentioned as well, I forwareded it to our admin yesterday, he will look into that, but that is an error on our website/FB plugin, not with the Facebook Plugin of the game.

I run SV on an Android phone. All my smurfing friends have iPhones. Is this the reason why I can't find them on the map, even when we are both logged into Facebook?
If so, do you have any idea when/if Beeline are going to solve this problem? It's rather frustrating…

Yes that is the reason, Android users can only contact to Android and iPhone only to iPhone users. Beeline said they might be able to change that in the future, but if they do it is nothing that will happen very soon, so I would not expect it to be changed in the forseeable future.
Anyone having GC issues today? It seemed to be sluggish late last night but now it's barely responding.
Hello, I'm a new smurfs ville user on Android and playing together with my wife. She also just started on her own Android device. But we are having trouble finding each other in neighboring villages.
We both connect using our own FB account and are off coarse friends. We are both logged into FB within the app. After setting up, she can see my village and visit it, but my device can't see her village. I've tried a lot of tips. Logging out and back in, restarting app, restarted phone, logging out on FB app and back in. All this does nothing and the problem remains.
It is possible for me to visit random villages, although I occasionally get the "Oops.." message, I can retry and get into the random village.
Does anyone have the same issue or possibly a solution?
This is happening quite a lot lately as Beeline is having lots of issues with the friends servers. There is nothing you can do about it at the moment, you just have to wait for Beeline to fix it.
I lost all my fb & gc friends for over a mth! I’ve finally worked out what my problem was. I remember there was an update that logged me out of fb on smurfs and when I went to log back in it gives you the option of using a number or email. I was lazy and chucked my number in = no friends cos I’ve just relogged and signed in using my email, BAM all my friends are back!!! I was so frustrated so if this helps anyone or if smurfette can somehow pass this info along it might help others!!!
Thanks for letting us know, it is not the solution for everyone, but it might work for people who are also trying to connect with a phone number. I will make sure it gets added to this website.

after my Marco Smurf 'auto' come back today…. everything look like ok now, ICANN see my friend and send/receive gifts now….
I can see mine again as well, it seems Beeline has fixed, or at least improved, on their server issues and everything should be back to normal.
Ummm… Anyone would think smurfs issues were more important than the daily changing of ones underwear;)

I’ve lost my Smurfs friends for 5 days. Before it was fine but when I want to find the missing Marco Smurf, suddenly my friends are not there although I’m connected to the facebook. Tried to turn on and off still doesn’t work. Internet connection excellent.

Follow up. I got this back from Beeline today: "We apologize for any inconvenience you may have incurred due to some technical difficulties we have experienced with our servers. We understand that this can be quite frustrating and assure you that our developers are working diligently to correct the issue. We hope to have things back up and running shortly."
I can not find my friends. I have already turned off my android tablet (Xoom Model MZ605 – Honey comb 3.1) and my friend have turned off too (Galaxy tab). I have already removed him as my friend into Facebook, and invited him again, but it is still not working. My wi-fi connection is good. What should I do?

I just backup my 3GS and transfered all data to my new 4S, everything is fine except all my friends disappear. Logout/relogin app and gamecenter doesn't help. Any advice?
This is an issue that many people have at the moment, you might have to wait for Beeline to fix it or for them to come back on their own.
but the point is… not everyone have problem… and look like only happen on iPad user… at least two iPad user have problem, but some of my iPhone user do not have problem…
I cannot login my fb to see my friends for two days, even.I cannot go in the feature or random village. also have error message when I click invite friend.. sure the wifi no problem, I try exist the game, restart my ipad2, but also have problem. nyone can help.

Yeah. I use game center and my friends have been missing for about 12 hours. And previous to that, friends villages either didn't load or took an extended amount of time to.

They are probably using a different system, if you use Android, you can only connect to Android users, and the same with iOS
All you gotta do is log off of Facebook. Your friend must also log off of Facebook. Then your friend will show.

It sounds like an old version of the game has been installed when iTunes reinstalled the apps from your computer, you should install the latest (Halloween) version via the App Store, then you get it back. Your progress, however, can probably not be restored and if you lost Smurfberries, please contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com) they can restore them to you.
Why has my comment not been added I too have lost my friends I have logged out rebooted 3 times now and still no friends on the map. Please help as I get their gifts but cannot give them any.

If you have done all of the things above, you will have to wait for them to come back off their own, there is nothing we can do, but as long as they are still your friends in either Game Center or Facebook they will eventually turn up again.
I am not able to see my friends village. I have played for several months now and i have a friend that just started to play. We are both logged into facebook but i still can’t see him. Same thing was happening to me, couldnt see friends. Problem was I changed my Facebook password online but my iphone didnt have the new one. I had to goto Main Menu/Options/Manage Friends…then Change Account and it logged back in…..and BAM !….I saw everyone.
Yeah, that might cause a couple of problems, everytime you change something vital on your Facebook Account (like password or email address) you will have to log out and back in again to update it on your device (iOS as well as Android). I am glad you found a solution so that you can now see all of your friends again
Every time when I have problems with seeing my friends' villages I am going to main menu -> options -> manage friends. I am not changing anything there and then going back to play again. After that my friends' villages are back. I am not sure why this works but it is for me every time.
How do I get into the game center after an update it has logged me out. I tried iTunes & nope nothing. I tried the help & recovery options but still need the official website for game center? Anyone?
GameCenter is not a website, it is an App on your device, if you can not find it, just type Game Center into the search, then open the app and log in again by reentering your account information
I havent been able to see and gift my friends for nearly a week. I've turned off my iPad, and logged out and back into the game centre, still no friends. Does anyone have any ideas?
I was trying to unbanish a friend. Had no symbol so tried tapping name but nothing. Now when I go into options and press manage friends it takes me straight back out to app icon. Am using iPad and Facebook. Help please!
You might want to restart your device, that usually helps. If not, just open it without Internet connection, that can help to. To unbanish a friend, you have to tap on the space before the name, not the name itself.

Go to options and then manage friends. usually there is a red circle before the name of your friend, tapping that will unbanish them. However, in the latest version, there is a bug and the red circle is invisible, but it still works, so just tap on the blank space before the name and your friend gets unbanished

Normally, in the banished friends section, there is a little red circle in the top right corner of your friends name and pressing that will unbanish the friend. In the latest version of the game, there has been a bug and the red circle has become invisible, but it still works, so if you do not see it, just tap at the right top corner of your friends name until your friend gets unbanished.

I have a great Internet connection. I have tried restarting device,logging out of game center,logging out of FB. My friend banished me & re appeared me. We even tried deleting each other from our FB. I then took my old iPhone, made a FB acct. D/L smurf village & that acct. Sees me at level 18 with dead crops. Oh and dud I mention I spent storage $100 on smurfberries,when signed out of game center it started me back at level 1,then gave my friend the option to take that board & she is now playing it. I think the Smurfs have gone cooky. It’s just not the same playing it with new friends. Rhx for the suggestions though.
Same problem..my village I’d not updating ALL of my friends see my village at level 18 with dead crops. I am at level 21. I am signed into everything,game center and Facebook and so are they. It’s getting frustrating =[
According to the developers, the online saved version updates when you are connected to the internet and then plant something, play a mini-game or change something in your village, so maybe just try to delete and plant a flower or so, maybe that helps. Do you have a good Internet Connection when you play? This might sometimes be the cause as well. If that does not help, try restarting your device and then logging out and then back into Facebook and GameCenter
My friend kept on getting error messages and put me on her "banned list" but can't unban me now. Help!!!!! Thanx
The current version of the game has a UI bug where the unban button next to the name has become invisible, however it is still there. Just tell your friend to tap on your name (at the right side/end of it) a couple of times and you should get unbanished
Hi, I can see My Friends, One actually double and One of My Friends is not updating. She already tried to log in through Gamecenter and lost her game, she starter over, but still i see her old Village, why can't I see The new Village?
If your friends village is not updating, it has nothing to do with you, but with your friend. Is she connected to the Internet when she plays? She also must be logged into GameCenter or Facebook (depending on how you connected your villages). Ususally if she is connected and plays a little bit it should update automatically

If you have your friends thru gamecenter… you have to go to the main menu of the Smurf game and log off of Facebook. If you do this, then you should then see your friends! You cant be logged into Facebook AND see your gamecenter friends. This worked for me anyway! I see all my gamecenter friends now! YAY!!!
You can be logged into both Facebook and GameCenter at the same time (I do that all the time). But if you are having issues with your neighbours showing up etc. it does indeed sometimes help to just use one service at the time, but normally both should work

I haven't been able to see any friends in nearly a week, and internet is not a problem. I even launched the app via game center and nothing.
For the last two days i have trouble getting my friends. Sometimes i get a notification my time is incorrect, which is not the case. Sometimes i get a notification my internet connection is no good, which is working fine. What' s wrong with the server?

my friends village was not updated as i seen at my devices.. on my devices, her level was 16, crop was all dead but on her device, her level is higher then 16 and the crops were still alive… it just seems her village was not update in my smurf game… both of our internet connection is good..
She has to have an Internet Connection while playing the game and she must be logged in to the service you two use to connect (that is either Facebook or GameCenter). If she then plays a little bit, the online saved version of her game (that is the one others see) should be updated
