Missing friends in Neighbour Map
By SmurfyFanSometimes it can happen that either your Facebook or your GameCenter or both friends do not appear in the neighbour map.
The first thing to do then is to check if your Internet connection is working correctly, if it is, close and open the Smurfs App or log out and then in again into the affected service (i.e. GameCenter or Facebook). This should help most of the time and the friends should reappear.
Some users have also reported that if you try to connect to Facebook via your phone number instead of your email address the friends do not show up, but when they log into Facebook with the email address everything is fine, so please make sure you are logging in with your email.
If it does not help it can also be a server issue, for example if the developers of the game are doing maintenance. In that case just wait a couple of hours or a day and then the neighbours automatically reappear.
For Android Users: It has been reported that only the first 20 Facebook Friends (sorted by Facebook ID) are checked by that game as neighbours. If they do not play Smurf’s Village, than they do not show up. Beeline has been informed about this issue and should be able to fix it with one of the coming updates.
Important: Your friends are never lost, as long as they have not been unfriended in GameCenter or Facebook. As long as they are your friends in those services, they will eventually reappear and are not deleted.

Beeline did some maintenance on their servers, it should work again. If not, try the tips above
I tried logging out and back in to Facebook, also turned my
Phone off then on again but none of this is bringing my friends back. I’ve lost Marco smurf in a neighboring village aswell. Please help
There is really nothing we can do to help, if the things you did did not work the problem is with Beeline's servers. You can just wait until they fix it. (But make sure you have the latest version of the game installed).
I can still not see any friends and Im pretty sure atleast one of my Facebook friends plays the game too
One time I wanted to visit featured neighbors and nothing was there. I think it is a glitch or something.
It happens from time to time when friends servers are very busy. Also it would be a good idea if your reboot your device, it may help to see your friends.
Hello I see my friends but can't enter their village. I keep getting an error message!
This is probably due to the latest update, after that many people are starting to play again and it causes some errors on Beeline's servers. Just wait a while, it should work again

I have problem to find any friend in gamecenter. I restarted iphone, gamecenter and facebook too. And I still dont have any friends. In gamecenter I dont have any rating too. I can only see, that I am playing this game.

Just started playing and can't get ANY friends to load. Have killed the app, rebooted my ipad, logged out and back in to Facebook and GameCenter and connected directly through GameCenter. I have 122 friends playing and can't get to any of them. I don't want to get into the game if it's not going to work – can this be fixed? And I tried sending multiple messages to through their support page and they all failed. I really would like to play but don't want to get into it if it's not going to work.
If you can not reach Beeline via the support page, just email them at support@beeline-i.com Issues with the friends happen from time to time with this game, especially when a new update has just been released because then many people play and it can cause problems with the servers. The game itself can still generally be played without having friends/neighbours show up, so that should not stop you. But your friends should show up again after a while.

When can i (Android user) finally have facebook friends using IOS as neighbour? What is the purpouse of facebook connection if you cannot connect to all your friends?
Was hoping the valentines update would fix it. Bummer!
There is nothing to fix, this is not considered a bug by Beeline, but maybe just a missing feature that does not have priority. They do want to make this possible in the long run, but not for the forseeable future, so you should not expect this anytime soon.
Hi i still can’t see any of my friends on map and i know atleast 1 plays game on andiod aswell. Do you know when beeline is gonna fix this?

We do not know, on the iOS version it has gotten a lot better with the island update, so there is hope that when the island version is out for Android it will be improved there as well.

it works fine but it takes a long time to scan for neighbor. Everytime I exist a neighbor village, it scans for neighbor again from the beginning.
Same problem here. Can't see any of my friends on map since the last update. Androïd platform too.
android still have problem with friends. I have a village on android and i can't see any of them. However, they can see me.
U need to wait for about 10min and see if any neighbor shows up. If not, there is nothing u can do until beeline fixes the issue.

You can not be neighbours with Android users and Android users can not be neighbours with iPhone users.

When I open my village, I'm not connected to Facebook. So I log in and can see my friends. But when I close out of the village and go back in again, my connection to facebook is lost. This has only happened since the island update
Do you use Android? There seems to be a bug that causes Android user to have to log into facebook again everytime they close the app/their device goes to sleep. There is nothing that can be done about this at the moment, it has to be fixed by Beeline.
i have not been able to see friends in neighbor map since march 3. i have followed the instructions listed for a hard reboot, logging out of game center, etc. still no friends. can beeline comment on this issue????

there is a bunch of crazy things going with my village my smurfs keep sliding across my screen grass in the wrong place i have to wait almost 2 hours to see all my friends and my villages vanish and i have to wait another 2 hours to gift my other smurfs
Since I updated version 1.0.6a, I can not visit my friend’s village. Even we both connected to Facebook. Do you have any ideas how I can visit my friend’s village?

Ok, so here’s something that has been working like a charm in all my devices. Hopefully it’ll do the same in yours. So, after a couple of very frustrating weeks trying to send gifts to my neighboors and friends, but none of them showing up on my village neighborhood; I was giving up all hope until finally out of the blue I found out that after doing the process I will list below, suddenly all of my friends reappeared.
I know it can be somewhat of a tedious process, but hopefully this will give some hint to the people that SHOULD be working on a solution but haven’t been able to accomplish anything. I shall also make clear that all of my friends are on Game Center. I have NONE of them in facebook.
Ok, so here is the deal:
1. Get in the game via Game Center.
2. Once your in, hit play and go to your village neighborhood. You won’t see any of your friends, yet.
3. Go into main menu, options, manage friends and log out of facebook.
4. Once the blue facebook screen pops up, hit the home button before the app fully loads and get back into Smurfs Village.
5. Make sure the welcome back “username” game center appears. If it doesn’t you’ll have to start all over again. But I haven’t had to do so in all my trials, so hopefully you won’t either.
6. Ok, so you’ll hit play again, go back into your village and check your neighbors. You will NOT be able to see them just yet.
7. Go back into main menu, options, manage friends. But now it should read: “Not logged in” If this is the case (it should be if you’ve followed the steps). You should:
8. Go back to your village, check your neighbors, and VOILÁ, they should all be back again.
Word of advice, this fix works only for one time. I mean you’ll have to do this again next time you go on and off the game, as I said not a permanent fix, but will do the trick.

Beeline hasn't fixed this problem for almost 2 years. Basically, just logoff facebook to force gamecenter to pull in neighbors. Check the neighbor map, then log back in fb again if you have fb neighbors. Otherwise, u can leave fb disconnected.
brainy, how do I leave fb disconnected? I log out of fb in on main page but on the main menu page under options it always logs back in.
I was connected to fb to view beelines page. and my husband has an account. but I don't. however it will pull up his account even if I have logged off in options. I am playing the game on an iPad. did not have this problem until village update.
I never disconnect game from fb because the gifts are likely to turn to "Someone has left ….".
Anyway, I found that under the game options, manage friends, if u tap on button "Go to Facebook", when u see the facebook page with only the cancel button at the top, tap on cancel button. This will leave the game disconnected from facebook.
Thats wont work either. If your device has facebook app, the game will link to facebook app and automatically uses the "active" facebook connection.
To disconnect game from facebook, go to facebook app and logout.

Do you already have an Apple ID? Are you able to sign in to Game Center? If you can, Smurf Village should be found there.
How come i keep getting an error when i send gifts to my friends saying that they have to update their game before i can send any gifts. Also their levels in the game never change on my phone. My friend is level 16 but it shows level 5 on my iphone
If you get that message, it means your friends have not updated to the same version as you…ie…your version is newer than them…. As for the levels, could be some kind of glitch.
I've seen the different levels too. It seems to me that your friend hasn't connected to facebook lately, thus updating the levels. If she goes to the options-> manage friends-> go to Facebook (even if it says it is logged in, then it should update her info to the server. You should do the same after she has. My wife and I are both reconnecting frequently.
I just upgraded my ipod to 5.1 and my village was downgraded a few levels. Luckily, I'm able to restore to the current level by tapping Papa Smurf's small head in the options menu as suggested. However I can't seem to be able to go into my Games Center again using my old username (coz i' m sharing the games center with my daughter) & I can't see my friends' village anymore. Can somebody please help????
If u use game center and all your friends are game center then of course u can't see them.
Can u login game center from your daughter device ? I think ios upgrade did something to your game center.
This problem is beyond us so we dont know what to suggest.
