Missing friends in Neighbour Map

Sometimes it can happen that either your Facebook or your GameCenter or both friends do not appear in the neighbour map.

The first thing to do then is to check if your Internet connection is working correctly, if it is, close and open the Smurfs App or log out and then in again into the affected service (i.e. GameCenter or Facebook). This should help most of the time and the friends should reappear.

Some users have also reported that if you try to connect to Facebook via your phone number instead of your email address the friends do not show up, but when they log into Facebook with the email address everything is fine, so please make sure you are logging in with your email.

If it does not help it can also be a server issue, for example if the developers of the game are doing maintenance. In that case just wait a couple of hours or a day and then the neighbours automatically reappear.

For Android Users: It has been reported that only the first 20 Facebook Friends (sorted by Facebook ID) are checked by that game as neighbours. If they do not play Smurf’s Village, than they do not show up. Beeline has been informed about this issue and should be able to fix it with one of the coming updates.

Important: Your friends are never lost, as long as they have not been unfriended in GameCenter or Facebook. As long as they are your friends in those services, they will eventually reappear and are not deleted.

    I used the above tips and SV says it cannot connect to the internet but, my internet is fine. I checked the connection, logged into other games, and I'm on this site. I checked other games with Game Center freinds and I can visit them in other games just fine. Any advice? I don't want my freinds to delete me!

    What device and browser are you using? What page are you on when you see this? Do you see the blue banner at the top of the screen or the mobile green without images? We’re not seeing any issues on this end. Try closing our page, clearing your cache, and rebooting your device.

    Can you help me out please?

    I am trying to find/add friends via IOS Game Center but I have the impression that I am doing something wrong.

    I found GC nick names of other player via the “add me”-link. I went to the GC and I have send several invitations. After some days I still see no change (no friends at all). When I open Smurf Village and when I go to “friendpage” where you can visit other villages I see in the left corner a box “searching friends”…is there something wrong?

    Do I always have to give Smurf Village the authorization to my Facebook account or is it enough to use the GC?

      You can connect to friends without Facebook (on iOS) and the way you have been doing it via GameCenter is correct as far as I can tell. But when no friend appears in your friends list in the gc app they have not accepted your requests yet.
      Wheb you add someone make sure they know it is for the Smurfsvillage game or they might decline because they don't know you
