Papa Smurf ” Plant Grapes ” Quest Problem

For those who updated their Smurfs Village App to the latest version (1.1.2) which was released on the July 28 2011, you may get surprised to get a quest from Papa Smurf asking you to to plant crops that are only available in the Fruity Fun crop pack such as Grapes, Cantaloupes, or Pineapples. The pack just happens to cost 20 smurfberries. Usually in the Smurfs Village game Papa Smurf never forces you to use your Smurfberries. However this quest you won’t be able to complete without buying the whole pack.

So, we just want to let you know that it was reported that this quest is happen to be a mistake made by the developper/ producer Beeline, this sort of mistakes is also know as bugs, and hopefully will be fixed in the next update. Below is an email send by Beeline Smurfs Village Support explaining this problem:
“It appears you have experienced a known bug in this game. Papa Smurf should not be giving quests that require items from packs that require Smurfberries unless you have already bought them, and our developers are investigating. Unfortunately, you will not be able to get any new quests until we get this fixed. We hope to have this issue resolved in the next update, and you’ll be able to get back to your game soon.
While there is currently no release date, the AppStore will automatically show updates in the “Updates” tab. We also make announcements regarding updates through the game’s Facebook page, as well as general gaming news outlets.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. Please look out for the next update!“

You can ask the support team of the creators at support@beeline-i.com if they will restore them to you, however, if you buy the fruit pack, you wil still have it, not just for the task and the developers said they will correct that with the next update, so it might be possible that they will not restore the Smurfberries and you will just have to wait for the fix in the next update.
Thank god when I got this quest last night I was so upset since I did not want to spend money just to complete a quest thank you for addressing this.
You might want to ask the creators/developers about that. You can contact them at support@beeline-i.com. Usually a new update has come out within 4-6 weeks after the last, but there have been occasions when the time between updates was longer as well as shorter.
Evil scammers. Taking their time to remove a code on smurf quests, until there are enough unassuming, unsuspecting users waste their money on smurfberries.
The creators said they were working on the problem, but they do not only have to fix the code, but also wait for Apple's approval of the new update, which usually takes another additional 8 to 14 days. You might want to contact them directly at support@beeline-i.com, maybe they can give you an estimate on how long it is going to take to fix that.
Around the time I updated the newest version of this app. Or shortly after, I have had no sound in the game at all. All my saved versions have no sound either. All of my other apps on my IPad2 work fine. I am almost at level nineteen and don't want to start all over again. I have sent cap com three emails with two answers, but nothing works yet as far as the sound effects go. Anybody have any ideas?
The only thing I can come up with would be to go to options and turn on the sound/music, but I am sure Capcom (Beeline) has already suggested that. Since you are using and iPad 2, I'd suggest you connect your village with Game Center (if you have not done that yet) and then delete and reinstall the App, but make sure to choose "Keep" when you are ask if you want to keep the Game Center data, so you will not loose your village.
I encountered this problem & reluctantly ended up buying smurfberry pack to continue playing game. I felt upset by this & nearly deleted game. I would be very happy if my smurfberry purchase could be refunded, as I love the game. Thanks, from a Smurf Village lover!

I'm glad they said something. I'm on level 34 so getting extra berries the hard way will take me … well, a few months i think. I wasn't prepared to do it, nor buy more. If it's a mistake, then I'll put up with the inconvenience for the moment. (But doing Papa Smurf's quest for 200 XP at Level 34 always seems a bit ridiculous anyway.)
I mistakenly accepted this quest before I realized that I would have to buy the fruity fun pack with smurfberries. I dealt with it by restoring my village to a previous save and then saying "not now" when Papa Smurf asked. That way I could keep doing other quests.
That is actually a good idea, but unfortunately not how it works, if you press not now, Papa will not give you a new task. If you tap him the next time, he will still give you the same task with the option to press ok or not now, but not switch to the next one.
Oh! I must not have been asked again after I restored from an earlier save, then. Lucky for me, I suppose!
Still no update. I guess they want to get as many people to buy fruity fun as they can while the Smurf Movie is playing.
Well we need to be rating accordingly. Here is my review with 1-star.
I see some materiall saying this is being worked on. However boo on you. Your material states smurfberries are not required for play. Why not offer everyone 20 berries instead of leaving us stuck for weeks/months. And I hope you are honest enough to refund any in app purchases from the sheep who dont know better.
We do not know yet, if and if so how the developers will compensate the players for this bug, only that it will be fixed with the next update. If you want a refund of your Smurfberries, you will have to contact the developers yourself, their support team can be reached at support@beeline-i.com (we are only an inofficial fan site and have no influence on that whatsoever)

This site is great! Thanks for keeping us updated, I caved and bought some smurfberries a while ago so we (me and my children!) could have the expansion and painter smurf but I really didn't want to spend any more. I hope the update is in September as expected, I want to get on with the quests!
Don't worry, the update is confirmed for September, it is even expected to be in early September, i.e. in the first or second week
I am on level 20 and papa Smurf asked me to plant corn and I have done it on 25 patches 3 times and it will not finish the quest! Help! He is just stuck! There is not even an option of " not now".
Are you sure you have planted the right version of corn, it is not interchangable, if he asks for corn you really have to plant corn and if he wants you to plant golden corn you have to use that, it does not count if you use the wrong version of corn

Updates are generally released all 4 to 6 weeks, but with exceptions (sometimes it takes a little bit longer, sometimes the time is shorter). The next update, that is supposed to fix this is expected next week, at least that is what the developers announced on their Facebook wall.
I have gotten this problem as well :/ Papa smurf asked me to plant Grapes which does cost 20 smurfberries and i dont really want to purchase that. He asked me to plant it a couple of weeks ago. Please HELP!
As our article says, there is nothing you can do, and we can not help you with that either, you will have to wait for the next update (it is supposed to be released sometime next week).
It should be possible to have one smurfberry for 1000 coins… Unless… we will never be able to have some items… even in one full year of gaming! That is frustrating…
The creators have said that they will not enable the Coins for Smurfberries option, because it is to easy to get unlimited coins, for example by using the time cheat. They are however, working on other ways for us to get Smurfberries for free except leveling up and getting them from Jokey. But there has not been giving any indication or timeframe about when we can expect that to be implemented
The same here, we've been about 3-4 weeks refusing to pay it but Papa Smurf keep asking that, so no other nice quests at all then. Even level changed and still the same request. Pretty annoying.

When the Plant Grapes quest is fixed are we going to be able to see the other Quests that we should have seen in the next levels? I have been stuck with Papa for 4 levels on the Grape Quest which means I have missed the Riddles and anything else he asks in that time.
That depends, there are two kinds of quest. First every level has some quest that come with a story (when you see Papa or whoever is giving the quest talking to another Smurf (via a text screen)). Those quest are the same for everyone on every level. If you do not do them on the level that they belong to, they will come up at the later levels. So those are the quests that you will get as soon as this bug is fixed. You will get them for the four levels you could not do them (although on the higher levels, I think somewhere between level 32 and 35 those will not come up anymore). The second kind of quests are the ones that come up in a level after you have done the "story quests". They are random and not the same for everyone. Those will not come up, or to be more precise, if you have redone all the story quest some new random ones will come up.
Please let us know when the updates will be ready. My daughter already feels bad that her other sister has already progressed with level after level while she is finding it difficult to level up. Please do not disappoint, lest hurt a child, no matter how trivial this is, since she has been hooked in the game already.

Sorry, but we are not the creators/developers of the game, just an inofficial fanpage and guide. The creators have announced on their Facebook page that the update is supposed to come out at the end of this week.
how to harvest a shrub of acorns
To harvest a shrub of acorns, you must buy some trees and after you can plant acorns.
So I have the same problem than above. Papa smurf asked me to plant Grapes which does cost 20 smurfberries and I don't want to purchase smurfberries with money (already done one time). He asked me to plant it a two weeks ago and even if the level change !!! In this case, it would be better than we are advertised at the beginning of the play to stock smurfberries and not spend them.

I'm stuck on the quest where Papa Smurf asks for 1 crop of lettuce, 1 crop of green peppers and 1 crop of radishes for Greedy's salad. I've harvest each crop twice, but the quest doesn't go away. Can you fix this bug?
We are not the creators/developers of the game, so we can not fix any bugs, for that please contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com). However, I can tell you how to pass this quest: You have to plant and harvest all three crops in the right order and at the same time, that is start with lettuce, then 6 hours before the lettuce is ready, plant radishes, and 5 min before they are ready plant the Green Peppers, then harvest them in the exact same order.
PAPA Smurf said me to have a new smurf who wasn't affected by the dust.so they can make a potion (build a new house or upgrade an house). I have made that but nothing happens.
Same probleme with : I hate blue potions. Let's mix a purple one ! I've done that and nothing happens.

Did you press “Ok” when he gave you the quest? If you only pressed Not Now or Cancel, the quest will not be completed, even though you did what was ask for.
What you have experienced with your crops not being done is known as a “timewarp” in the SmurfsVillage community, that happens sometimes with either the crops taking longer to grow or the other way around (being done earlier). There is nothing you can do about that, as far as I am aware. But it should not happen often
I am on level 19 and I have restarted this app before. I tried turning off my iPod and it still doesn’t turn on. Please help I have been setting up my alarms just so my crops won’t wither while I sleep. I need a solution
I got the same problem (ipad 2). No sound when crops are ready. I already sent an email tot beeline. They cannot help yet.
Go to Settings – then Notifications on your iPad (not within the Smurfs App) and make sure you allowed sound notifications for the game

Do you have the version with Scaredy Smurf as Halloween icon?. Does iTunes on your computer say you have the latest version or the AppStore on your device? If it is the first, you might not have installed it on your device, but just downloaded it.

How do you harvest acorns? I cant find them
Acorns can be found in the Magic Shrubs (trees) menu. Magic shrubs could be found in the first shop it can be bought by Coins or Smurfberries

This is the first of the island quests, but something went wrong with the timer, this can happen when you change the time or just when there have been some short memory issues on your device. You could try using Smurfberries to complete the taks, but with the timer not working this might not work either. I would advice you either contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com) or you can try the recover village feature described here: http://www.mysmurfsvillage.com/smurfs-village-gui… to restore your village to a point when everything was still fine, i.e. before the quest, though you might loose some progress

Currently at level 34
After sending 1 Smurf to the forest, Papa, Brainy, Jokey, Alchemist, Grouchy and Clumsy Smurfa went missing.
I also lost 3 other working smurfs.

I was just reached the max level(42 I think) with 200000+ coins
& 15 smurfberries. Then I updated and ended up with
800000+ coins $ 7100000+ smurfberries. That was nice.
But the crops cost all crazy prices but then I think charge normal.
Also and most important I m on level 43 with 15999% and the bar is full.
I won’t give up my berries (just bought everything and I m very happy)
But I hope the leveling problem will be fixed with a new update.
I really doubt this can be fixed without you giving up the berries, it seems that your village got corrupted while updating, and if you continue to play you might encounter more problems. You could restore to a point where everything was fine, but then you will loose the Smurfberries. So you kind of have to device whether you want to continue with the possibility of having more issues or restore back to how it was.

I also have a save at level 42 also corrupt.
When I preview them they are at 0% and an empty bar with all the berries
But then the bar gets full and the percent number debords and produces artifacts.

Make sure that you have turned on the sound from the options menu of the game as well as from the settings menu of you device.

I still have to pay for the fruity crop with smurfberries. I thought this was suppose to be fixed updates ago. Any news on how to fix this or if it will at all be fixed because there is no way to get past papa smirfs grape quest without buying it but I don’t want to use my smurfberries when I thought it was going to be fixed.
It was fixed, but not by making the crop pack available for coins. The problem was that in the quest he asked for grapes, which could only be obtained with Smurfberries. Papa will now not give you quests involving grape anymore. Hence if you want the fruity fun crop pack you still have to pay for it, but you do not have to buy it to complete the tasks anymore.
Thank you smurfette. Do you know how long it normally takes for new updates as much as I love the island I can’t wait to see what beeline has In store?? Will they ever come up with more ways to get smurfberries besides buying them or getting the occasional from jokey. By the way it’s nice having the special smurfs on sale .
The usual update cycle is 4 to 6 weeks. The next update is most likely going to be the Easter version (looking really forward to hidding eggs in my neighbours villages again). They have now added free Smurfberries via Marco Smurf and the rafts in additition to Jokey Smurf. But this is as rare as with Jokey and I do not think that they will increase the rate for that, even though they might add one or two other ways to get Smurfberries. But nothing official is known about that.
Do you know smurfette if there is any known issue about the rafts, like when I click on them I can't ever tell how long it is until they come back to the island? I can't wait to see the easter eggs and I hope you can get bunnies too, I am new to the smurfs ever since December and I just want beeline to keep making new levels, I don't want this game to be a wipe out cause I grew up with the smurfs. I can't get enough of these amazingly cute creatures.

Last Easter there was one Easter Bunny available, so I guess he will at least make a reappearance. Not sure if there will be more, we just have to wait and see I guess.

Hi, I'm Diana. Is there something wrong with the timing of the bottle request? The time was 19hr left when I checked in the morning. When I checked again in the afternoon, it became 23hr. When I checked again in the evening, it became 31hr… How would my quest ever be completed if the timing is wrong? Is there a bug here?
The bottle quests are currently bugged. If you are an IOS player, the coming update will fix this.
