Smurfs village Halloween update (v. 1.1.4) is live

Without previous notice Beeline surprisingly released a new major update of smurfs’ village game for the month of October (version 1.1.4 ). As it was expected previously Halloween theme has taken place in this update and was described by Beeline as “Smurf or Treat! Halloween comes to Smurfs’ Village!”. For more XP a new character called ” Scaredy Smurf “ has joined the village, which will give you daily XP, as well as many other Halloween decorative items were added. A full review about the this update (version 1.1.4 ) is described below.
- Although a Beeline employee/representative said on their Facebook Forum there would be new land in the next update, there seems to be no new expansion
- Everyone who has Smurfette can turn her into Lone Smurf (after a quest to mix a purple potion from her). Lone Smurf then will give quests on her own.
- Scaredy Smurf comes to the village after a quest from Papa Smurf to send 2 Smurfs to look for him for 8 hours
- Scaredy Smurf gives 400XP, but only at night (night mode turned on), once a day
- The street lamps are now brighter during the night.
- Gravestones and Jack-O-Lanterns were added as temporary Halloween items (seasonal items).
- Purple piknick table and purple bench were added (only available for Smurfberries, not sure if they are temporary).
- At least one new level was added.
- Halloween Sweet Gifts: Gum ball 150XP (requires level 15); Lollipop 50XP; Chocolate Bar (requires level 25) 250 XP.
- Gifting system seems to have been updated, when a gift is placed a status bar shows the progress.
- The issue were Alchemist asked to upgrade Papa Smurf’s house even though it was already upgraded has been fixed.
Although you may get some kind of message that Marco Smurf came back empty handed and that he will try again tomorrow, we are not sure what that means, either that Marco will not always give gifts or that it is the correction of the bug were Marco did not give gifts for some people after they returned to their village.
We think the issue with the friends has been fixed, at least I can see all of mine again without any issues, but we can not say for sure that it was fixed for everyone.
If anyone knows if there will be a Halloween update when will it come out
I am so frustrated with the game lately! For a week now there is a bug or something in the game. When I plant something on the island that takes 8 hours, for example, when I leave the game the crops do not mature.i planted tomatoes two days ago. Eight hours later they should be ready. Not happening! It took more than 48 hours to mature and harvest them. Anyone else having this issue?
Have you gotten the latest update? This particular bug should have been fixed!
Is there will bea a halloween 2012 update this year and there will be lone smurf again? And there will be thanksgiving pack again?

I have lost 30 smurfs
when I tap on a house it says
total population is 22/54
I used to have 53 smurfs
and on the other Island I now had 0/12 population

With the snow Day & Night Mode has been renamed Effects. Just turn on effects and it will go dark.
Any news in when new levels are coming? Ive been stuck on Level 40 forever!!!!
The update cycle is usually somewhere between 4 to 6 weeks, but due to the Christmas/New Year holidays the next update is not expected until sometime mid January. Usually a new update comes with at least one new level, but sometimes they do not come with a new level, so you just have to wait and see.

The update Intervall is 4 to 6 weeks, the next update should come some time in Novemeber or early December
arrrghhhhhh!!!! not available for my country. i just hope they make it available for all countries so many people can relay their thoughts and bugs of the game.

That is weird, I still have him, try closing the app from the multi task bar if that does not help try closing and reopening your device

If you mean were his hut disappeared? I think so, at least I did not hear from someone this has happened to since the latest update. But I am not sure if it has been fixed for those who are missing his hut already (i.e. if it reappeared). Have a good weekend yourself

I can't open my village anymore. If I have it saved through gamecenter, can I just re-install the app?
Yes, if you have it saved in GameCenter that is possible, but you must choose "keep" when you are asked whether you also want to delete the GameCenter data

You can try the recover village tip (instructions here: http://www.mysmurfsvillage.com/smurfs-village-gui… ) but if you deleted the game, there is probably no saved backup that still had those Smurfs. Scaredy Smurf only comes with the Halloween update, so did you first get him and then the Smurfs disappeared? Unfortunately there is probably not much you can do, I would advise to contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com).
after updating the halloween game, alchemist, scaredy and marco disappeared. What can I do?

Has anyone else noticed that Smurfette disappears??? I had a heart wondering round randomly (Smurfette before giving her XP out) Once she has handed out her XP she cannot be found in my village until next time she is due to give XP… Is it just me or are other noticing this as well????
That is probably because she has turned into Lone Smurf, look at her when she has the heart, she is wearing a costume. After you have finished a couple of tasks from her she will return to her usual appearance.
Hi it’s my first time here and I was just wondering if the unlimited smurf cheat still work. This is the first time im using the cheat but it doesn’t work for me as I’ve tried for 2 levels already. Is the cheat fixed? If not, could you teach me how to use the unlimited smurf cheat? Thanks
We do not discuss cheats on this webiste, you will have to log somewhere else for information about that. Regarding if it still works, I do not know, it might have been fixed with the latest update.
Does anyone know what the bats give? The Halloween holiday option lets you buy bat critters for smurfberries, but since I haven't bought any I'm not sure how many XP they give and how often.
The bat gives you 1000 XP after the initial purchase and then 300 XP every 8 hours.
I had lone Smurf for about a day and now it's back to Smurfette. What happened?
She is only there for two – three tasks, then she returns to being Smurfette.

Go to Settings – Notifications (on your device, not the smurfs app) and there check that Notifications in Generall as well as Notifications for the SmurfsGame are turned on
Ok I updated/synced and now I can't get notifications even those they are all marked yes in my settings, please help!
You have to turn on Notifications in the Settings Menu, then you have to explicitly choose the Smurf Game from the List in the settings menu and allow it to send notifications and lastly turn on notifications in the options menu of the game (that means three places to check). If all is on, then it should work.

Those items are available in the "Smurfs & Company" Facebook game, not this game. They are made by different companies.
No, they are not. They are unreleased items. They might be released over the next couple of days in the star shop (just like the bat) or they are abondend objects whose code is still in the programm. If someone has them, they either hacked their village or are a developer

I don't think you can post pictures here. I know a wooden swing and patio, but have not seen it in Smurfsvillage, or do you mean the picknik tables/benches? Since 1.1.3 Papa Smurf changed his tasks in my village. Before it has been a mixture of sending smurfs or growing different amounts of different crops. Now it’s sending smurfs (like before), but just growing one piece of crops at a time. Except blueberries – These are the only crops where Papa Smurf asks to grow more than just One piece… And the growing of blueberries is asked very often by him. So everythings becomes pretty boring. 1.1.4 didn’t change the task behaviour either. Anyone else has these problems? Or any clue to fix it?
I had the same problem, however I dont think its a problem, its probably the developpers ran out of ideas so they just keep giving almost the same problems, also make sure he said blueberries and not MAGIC blueberries.
It's not a matter of blueberries or Magic blueberries – it's just like the random crop amount only Works with blueberries. With all other crops the requested amount is just One piece. And that's pretty boring…

He should not, at night you can find him (i.e. tap him) for 400 XP. But it might be difficult to find him. Best way is to go into "Move Mode", there most of the items will be shadowed and you can concentrate on finding him.
Any news regarding upgrade of Greedy's baking game? There is almost no XP to win… Any good idea's someone how to collect lots of XP?
No news whatsoever, Beeline said they are working on the mini-games. But they might have been talking about the change to Papa Smurf's Mini Game (as this was said before it was upgradable). There have not been any news on whether they will continue changing the games or if that was it for now.
When is the “ominous castle” going to magically appear? I updated twice…
It is a contest and your are supposed to create that castle in your village (by decorating, using all the existing items), it will not appear of its own
man i was really hoping for a land expansion, harvest all works alot better now, wish we could get some costumes, and the holiday selection is a little lame… oo well…
Disappointed with this update! Hardly anything for halloween, only a few decorations, no huge permanent changes, and NO land expansion! In desperate need of more space.. The next expansion should be to the left or right this time, rather than the bottom.
And we need a new special Smurf with a new game and new house!
We have no influence over this update, as we are only a guide to the game. Please contact Beeline for that (support@beeline-i.com). A Beeline employee said the next update would have new land. This was said in regards to this Halloween update, so I am assuming that they pushed it back for some reasons, but that at least means new land is planned for the future.
game hasn't loaded in days,doesn't get past the blue screen.even with the new update it still doesn't work
My game still only shows my neighbors part of the time; sometimes they’re there, sometimes not.
It still produces an error when I try to access the afacebook option.
Game won’t let me leave candy gifts on neighbor villages that are confirmed to have the Halloween update.
My iPad (1st gen) is very unstable and constantly crashes still, even after update.

Unfortuntely no information regarding future releases of the Android version have been given by Beeline, so it does not look like there is one coming soon (although they might release it unannounced). We will let people know as soon as they announce something new

My village has just reset. I went into the game touched the Play button and back to Level 1 from Level 39 75%. Game Centre also has no record of my game. So now I can’t even try to restore it. The other weird thing is I have to start again but suddenly I also have 350 smurfberries. What???!!! Not impressed!

Is Marco Smurf still unlimited or is he now once every 24 hours?
He comes Once every day in your friends village.
The medal comes once per day but the bug were he can still be found whenever you want has not been fixed, so yes, he is still unlimited.
I had smurfs out on a mission when I did the update and now Papa is telling me to send more without those being back. Will they come back if I send the next group out?
I would assume that they will come back when the time of their mission is over, if not, you can try the recover village tip to restore to a point when they were still in your village, although you will probably loose some progress. I sent two smurfs on a quest before the update, but right after the app is updated, those two just disappeared?! My population is now missing two smurfs!? Help?!
I can confirm that they come back once the time for their quest completes. I was worried since I had 4 out, but they're back now.
I can see my friends and give them gifts, but have not been receiving the ones they give me. I am not sure if they always get mine or not. It also.
After I updated to 1.1.3 my village crashed and it has never reopened. It has been two weeks. I have run the Halloween update but it won't open either. Help.

I have a first generation iPod and after update that introduced night and day mode, performance had gone really bad. With this update that definately has been fixed. I can play normal again.
Marco smurf all of a Sudden appeared in my village despite the fact that I haven’t got any friends or neighbors, and because of that I have never had Marco before.

Some problems occurring again with GameCenter apparently, lost my village (game restarted for no reason) and had to restore a previous save (no big deal though). GameCenter unable to load sometimes, same problem as lately. Hope things get better.

i got the message to find marco at my friend's village. but when i click her village it mentions i need to update my smurfs app to view her village.
i am already in the last version (1.1.4). what should i do?????
Does it say you need to update your game or your friend needs to update her game? If it is the first, then that means that your friends village is probably corrupt. I have that with one friend, but she appears as level 200 and something, so her village is corrupted. Maybe try to restart your device just to be sure. If it says that your friends needs to update her game then she has an old version and there is nothing you can do about it.
