Beeline has just released the massive 1.1.7 update for Smurfs’ Village for Apple iOs Devices (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch), and should be released on the Android market as well but no exact date was given for that. This is the largest update for the game since it debuted in 2010. Judging by the preview screenshots released this week; and preliminarily tests we run today, players should expect a lot of additional content and welcomed changes. Those users who’ve been praying for the snow in their village to disappear will finally get their wish. It’s all about beach fun this time around. An extension along the shoreline will add an island tropical feel to the game. A boat building feature, ship dock, rafts, and the infamous S.S. Smurf II from the third season of the cartoon will become regular fixtures of the game.
Several new characters including Slouchy Smurfling, Sassette, and Captain Dreamy Smurf were added. If you wonder how to find the island you need first to reach at least level 19 onwards and you need to have the beach. After couple of quests Papa Smurf will ask you to send two smurfs to the forest where they will find the S. S. Smurf II Ship and Captain Dreamy. Captain Dreamy Smurf will be making the biggest impact on the game. He’s the captain of the S.S. Smurf II ship. After handy miner smurfs get the compass for Captin Dreamy you will get the Ship ready in the dock and the adventure will start. You will be able to get to the island by tapping on the ship papa smurf and Brainy will follow Dreamy smurf in his adventure all the time .
Slouchy Smurf, who’s notorious for his less than enthused laid back attitude he is available in the shop and costs 2000 coins. Sassette is the second female smurf to join the village. She was created from the same enchanted formula Gargamel used to form Smurfette, she is also available in the shop but it costs 30 smurfberries. These extra characters make the game feel more like the original series. Tons of cool décor items, four new levels, and sea turtles, gecko, were also added. Larger more decorative mushrooms, palm trees, tall red rose vines, green lifesavers, straw umbrellas, blankets, pink seashells, fountains, hammocks, sand buckets, colored bamboo fences, outhouses, beach balls, and mushroom huts are just some of the items which are also available in this update.
Exotic crops like honeydew melons, canary yellow melons, and eggplant will be available as well. Players have plenty to look forward to in this upcoming update. Games are another aspect they may be incorporated for recreational activities along the beach. Hopscotch outlines and toys can be seen in grassy patches indicating an upcoming vacation or kid theme in the works. The shoreline will definitely be busy this season.
How to visit your friends and neighbors islands?
You can visit your friends or neighbors islands by going into their villages, tap on ship to visit island. You can view their islands, but you can’t leave gift on island though. (Credit to Daniel Nguyen our Facebook admin)
Marina the mermaid

Depicted on the left in one of the screenshots we received it from one of our fans, which shows the mysterious mermaid (known as Marina “Handy’s Sweetheart”) surrounded by sea boulders. This functional character will probably add as an attraction (Minigame) to the island or as another way for players earn experience and coins. A diving kit is also added next to the mermaid. We will update the mermaid section shortly, please check it frequently.

The game now is available only in AppStore (no android released yet) for downloading at the moment, so what’s new according to Beeline?
New lands and Smurfs to discover. Join Dreamy Smurf on a quest to discover a new island where you can build a whole new Smurfs’ Village!

Bugs you may encounter in 1.1.7 update
the Smurfs village App seems to work smoothly and faster than before for Apple iOs devices (iPhone, iPad, iTouch). Yet minor bugs are already detected mainly:
- with Painter minigame where the colors look blotchy with bad resolution, and you always you paints will be rated poor so you will get 0 XP and you wont able to unlock any color.
- In order to travel in the S. S. Smurf ship you need to tap many times or at least you need to tap firmly in order to get the dialog windows to ask you if you would like to go to the island.
- If you buy a land extension in the island, you wont be able to Zoom in on items implemented the extension area.

Hi, I got the island and added a couple of rafts, however, one of the rafts is not accessible, it's like it shipped out and doesnt matter how much I click on it, nothing pops up.
This happened to me too with two of my rafts, it turned to normal again once it came back, so just wait, that should fix it.
I in the island and brainy is saying to get more gardens I've got like to more but his quest still is there?
This is not a quest, Brainy does not give quests, but warnings, you need at least one garden for every two smurf living in your village or for evey two smurf living on the island or you will get this message
On the island, I can keep buying houses, as long as I have coins. I've built 14 houses in the last day and could likely build more if I weren't out of coins. I purchased the land expansion, but will have to consider space at this point, due to having 42 crops. I've also started on the Marina-related quests and will report back.

One of what I think are the Marina related quests is to grow 20 crops of tomatoes for Papa on the island. Beeline definitely expects you to have lots of crops on the island. I hope there is a land expansion quest soon! Im running out of room! Also, bank up that dough! I've gone through 50,000 coins and about 100 Smurfberries so far!
How do i get the flowers for the raft on the new island?
Just buy and place some flowers from the second shop somewhere on the island.
Hi! I just wanted to let you know (incase you havn't heard yet)……. I just harvested my crops while it was raining, (i didnt replant right away) and all my smurfs took off "running" for mushroom houses! And the disappeared. It was SMURFASTIC
As soon as rain stopped they came back out.
Mine do too….hilarious!! It makes me feel guilty for making them work in the rain! LOL,!
My 5 yr old refuses to plant crops when it's raining as she doesn't like her smurfs getting wet!!!
You can turn it off from the options menu, just set the effects to on.
This has got to be one of the cutest things I've heard on this forum!

This is a glitch that can sometimes happen and is usually related to memory issues. Try restarting your device, that should help solve it
What is marble. I cant find it. Is it small ball?
Marbles are little "stone balls" kids can play with. You find them in the second shop on the island for 1500 Coins (after the new sandy paths).
Where do I find this second shop?

I wanted to report an issue with Tailor Smurf that appeared with the new update. I have lots of sunglasses in my inventory and when I went to put them on the smurfs they can't be seen. I noticed that the different hats switch places as I scroll as well. I tried a hard reset of my device and that didnt fix it. Thanks for looking into this for a bug fix!

I can't get the rafting hut, every time I try to put it on my island it stays red and won't allow me to build it. anybody have any idea's?????
I failed to collect the XP of the crab after the update becuz the crab was placed very close to the big ship for adventure! I also failed to move the crab to another place. Pls help me fix this bug as i do not want to lose the XP from the crab which I paid 50 smurfburries to get! Thank you!
If you really can't move the crab there seems nothing you can do. What happens if you try to move it, won't it select?
Yes it won’t be selected. So this means I will never be able to collect the XP from the crab again?!?!

I do not know, they might be added in the future, but Beeline has not given any infomation on that besides that it does not work now.

i am not on the island quests yet due to me being on a 70 hour quest before i updated, but when i updated there are absolutely no new items to buy is this normal?
The new decoartions etc. are only available for the island

It is Beeline's way of being able to add new items and also let people who have reached the character limit to continue playing and enjoying the game and at the same time being able to support older Android and iOS devices. This will therefore most likely not change.

how to get the rufts back by using smurfberries i made it before but now when i click on the ruft nothing happens however i made it before , but now i can't ??
This has happened to me before, too. Usually I can click on a raft and a window would pop open saying when it will be back and also giving me the option to get it back with Smurfberries, but then I had two rafts out for which this did not work. It fixed itself after they came back, so you'll have to wait for them to come back without Smurfberries, then it should work again.
It's nice that Beeline are keeping the game alive, but the updates have got sloppy. I would prefer a solid, stable game over one with more features. It seems that Marco is not yet fixed, the painting game is now broken, and the right-most river has a graphical glitch in that it moves at one bend. A rock in the water moves with it too, which looks odd. It is a very good game, I think, which makes it a shame to ruin it with rushed updates that add more bugs than they fix.

You can't. It is either a fake image or something that will come sometime in a future update.

It says to build a bridge which I already have.
The Raft house can only be placed at a certain spot on the beach (look for a shadow of the raft house). The message about the bridge is just a wrong error message, it should say something like "can't place the raft house here".

I cheated with time, in addition accidentally changed the time for 10 years. As I went back to the present time the game would not start. After a few exemptions and insertion phone managed to open the game. But I do not know how it happened, but Papa Smurf there is a Smurf in the forest and says "Should he be back in 183 810 hrs 4 mins 48 secs" and time has stopped, do not fall. I tried to recover the village but my game goes back to 27 level. I'm on level 40. Is it possible to do something about it? Help me.
You could use a Smurfberry to complete the taks if that still works. If not, have you tried restarting your device? Other than that, you can try to set the game ahead to that time to see if it will be completed then. But I would say you should contact Beeline first (support@beeline-i.com). I think this is an error/glitch caused by setting the time so far ahead.
I tried restarting my device, but it does not work. I can not use Smurfberries, because Papa Smurf wants Smurfberries 7659. I tried to set the time to complete the job, but that does not work (then still the task completion time increases). My husband in his village has the same problem. Then write to the Beeline, maybe it is an error. Thank you for your answer.
try going to options and click papa smurfs head many times there is a recover village that should help but you might lose progress
I currently building six houses on the island. The island seems to be a new mini village. Once you arrive, it you will need to build a village and populate just like when you started your original Smurfs Village game. The raft house allows you to send a smurf out to scout for items (right now it looks like when Jokey gives you something)’ but you also get coins and XP when you send a smurf out on a raft, because they are gone for a set amount of time (kind of like planting a crop). There is a land expansion available for 25 smurf berries, that applies to the island only.
I don’t think you can transport items back and forth to the island from the main village, so at this point, it feels like operating two separate villages. HTH.
you r correct. Consider the island as your 2nd village or even a new game. A game within a game.
Many of my neighbors have somehow deleted or put away a lot of their smurf houses… how do I do that?
You can not delete nor store one of the houses, so either your neighbours lost them or they used some kind of cheat (though I am not aware that there is a cheat that lets you delete houses).
How come the fishing game still has a glitch with the fishing line and the painting game is glitchy with the paint? Plz respond as I like playing the games.

They are in the shop on the island, not the normal shop.
how do you get Marina mini game?
We are not yet sure if the picture is a fake or not. If it is not, it seems like Beeline did not add this to the island yet (as as of now there is no Handy on the island either). So if this comes up, probably not before another update.
The picture posted above has a little banner across it that says "fake image" . So it is fake? Was looking forward to a new mini game… Lol

hey i just knew marina is in the game the picture of two smurfs talking about handy cant visit marina and i have a quest that her father is sick on level 34 and you have to plant something maybe i can get her at level 37 tell me if i helped
you will get more smurfs talking about marina like Baker smurf but you wont get at this stage. May be it will be released next update.

Painter game issue; tap on the screen to paint instead of sliding. This will give you sufficient coloring to pass the game.

When I paint in painter's painting game I did not get xp and for some reason is are the little circles from both paint brushes
The Added huts and ship are cute. So are the bamboo fence and flowers. I do have a issue with it crashing a lot. Sent HELP for support.
Papa Smurf asks me to build the raft house but I can't seem to place the object. They are asking me to build a bridge but i do not see any bridge item yet?
for bridge and raft house you need to put them in a specific location u see shadow of the raft just build over it, otherwise you wont be able to place them.
Do you have stone or wooden bridge?
where do you get or buy the bridge?
Look for the ghostly image along the shore line, that's where u r supposed to put the raft house.
This is a bug in the game you need to go back and forth to the mainland and if you have aa wooden bridge try to upgrade it to stone's one

No not sure! you should have at least 2 smurfs in the island as well as 2 houses
Go to the main land and harvest. When you have enough build the houses.
I was in the process of doing the alchemist smurf challenge but I updated before I had completed it will I get the quest back or have I lost it?
The challange should come back up as soon as you have done the "island" questline

I haven't seen anything like that yet. I assume that will come in the future, but I think Smurfberries are your only island expansion option at this point.
U can use smurfberries (around 13-15) to speed up the quests. Otherwise, it will take at least 1 week to complete all quests for the ship.
Hi! I just dowloaded this new 1.1.7. version, and restarted my Ipod. My village is still in Christmas mood! This is my first attempt to update. Thanks for letting me know what I am missing to activate the 1.1.7. version.
If you still have the Papa Smurf or Smurfette icon, the update did not go through. Just open the app store and do the update again. If you game has the new icon, then open it and it should be done.
what do the firefly festival lanterns look like
The lanterns are three party lanterns on a laundry line with a kind of candy cane at the side. You can find it for 1500 Coins in the first shop.
Loves the games and the new ventures with the new update.
HATE the new colour scheme!!!! The green background ruined the village mood and colour co-ordination, also made the village looks dark. Even my 5yo agreed without me asking.

The "white background" i.e. the snow only ever comes around between December and February, it was like this in 2010 and 2011, so it will not probably not come back before December 2012.
i agree and it looks boring without the snow and the valentines decorations maybe they can make it snow while in the island and it wont be boring
I don't think Beeline will do that, becasue many people already complaint about the snow staying for Valentine's day. And even though some people do not mind the snow or prefer it, most of them seemed to want it gone.
I have upgraded my smurf village but have not gotten dreamy smurf or a boat. What's going on? I am on level 23. What can I do?

Has the 250 character limit changed? As soon as I got to the Island I could upgrade two huts already there, and I could build three new huts. I am almost at the 250 limit. Anyone know if this update allows more?
The island and the original village have to separate character limits. That is why Beeline added the island, so that even though you are at the character limit in your original village, you can still get more smurfs on the island.

Only Papa Smurf, Brainy and Dreamy go to the Island, the others can still be involved in "storyline" quests, but they do not go to the island.
I have updated the new version but when at night can't change it, still at the morning version. Can you help?

how to add marbels to the island
you can get marbles for sassette's quest from the shop in the island they are little colored balls and circles
but make sure you buy the ones sold for coins. the smurfberry ones do not work

How do I install the update without loosing my village please
Just go to the App Store on your device, click on the Updates button and update the game. You can also first create an itunes backup of your device if you want to be safe (Instructions can be found in our troubleshooting section)
They added 4 new levels
i can't find Slouchy Smurf and Sassette in the shop?!?!? i update the game. i am at nivel 26 and the only new thing is the ship dock.
They are in the shop of the island so you have to be in the island and tap on the shop to get them
find them at the island which you can get by doing the quest that will give you the boat and dreamy you need to complete papas previous quest hope i helped :}

try clicking the ship a lot of times if not try restarting youre device cause the new things are only in the island
U can visit neighbor's island by going into the neighbor's village, tap on their ship to visit their island. The only limitation I see at this time is u can't leave gift on island.
