I have purchased a caterpillar to complete Smurfette's quest, after the quest had been completed the little star in a circle has appeared on the beach, I touched it, received 500 XP, but I can't find a caterpillar anywhere in my village…. Maybe someone knows how to fix this problem and how to find a caterpillar?

I would advice to look for the caterpillar in "Path Move Mode" or in Tailor Smurf's "Hat Mode" (if you have him). It is possible you are just not seeing it.

That is weired, you can try the recover village tip and see if one of the backups still has the caterpillar, but you might loose some progress if you restore from one of them. I have smurfs village on my droid incredible phone but have noticed there are items missing that other people have on their ipads…such as the beach and the smurf that allows you to put hats on other smurfs. I am on level 30 so are these just not available on the droids?
Unfortunately, the Android version is really far behind. While the iOS version has updates every 4 to 6 weeks I do not think there has even been one update for Android yet. So at the moment all those items and features are not available for Android users
My smurf village hangs at the orange beeline screen when I open the app. Have tried everything but keeps hanging. Waited 40mins, rebooted, resynced…. I don't want to delete the app and reinstall for fear of losing the village. Any ideas anyone?
Unfortunately if you have tried all of the above, the only thing you can do is to wait for Beeline to fix it. (If you decide to reinstall the game, please only do so if you have your village either backed up via iTunes or Game Center, otherwise you might loose it.)
marco smurf is in my friends village, how do i get him back? I've been in there village & came back 2 mine but i don't think he's back yet?
Every 24 hours, there will be a blue medal next to one of your friends village, this means that YOUR marco smurf is in there village and you can click on him (in your neibours village) and a message will appear saying that he got you a gift and meet him back in your village for a surprise, hope this helps
hey how come the smurfs game doesn't alert me once my crops are done, or when a quest is finished with the NEW smurfs update? I don't like it, how do i fix it, i need the smurfs to go off so i no when there done.
My notifications are all on, and the sound is turned up, but I no longer seem to be getting sound notifications (i.e. no jingle when crops are ready or smurfs return from the forest, etc.). This only started happening after the Halloween upgrade. The rest of the game works with sound: I get the normal music and noises from the smurfs when I click on them.
I Also had this problem and i turned my device on and off and the sound came back for notification.
Unfortunately this was a bug in the last update, we headr from many people that they got the notification problem, not occurs only form the halloween upgrade but also if you you are using iOS 5. But try to double check that the notifications are on when you to go to main menu-> options-> Notification, if they are on check out the your iphone or iPad notification if you go to ->settings->, notifications and double check they are not deactivated. If they are on and you still don't get notifications try to reboot your iDevice (switch it off completely and then turn it on) this will help to work out 90% of the problems.
I hope I am not asking again, but there are so many places to write but have not gotten any answer yet….

in the main menu tap the hammer on your right hand side it will take you to the shop. On top of the shop menu you will see a camera on the navigation menu , just tap it and you will be able to take screenshots.

When ever I play the smurfs on my ipad when I am not connected to the Internet, when I am at home and reconnected to wifi my village reverts back to what was there last time I was connected to the Internet. I have lost about 2 days worth of work. Is there anyway to stop this happening?
Normally it should ask you which village you want to continue and then you can overwrite your online saved version with the local one. Make sure that you have completly closed the App before opening it with Internet connections (that is closed in the multitask bar). That should solve your problem, because than it should always aks you which village you want to play
After apple update totally lost smurf's village app! Now what? Can't bring myself to start over.

Go to options and tap on papa smurf 16 times. A box will appear that says restore game. Tap it. Pick the most recent time and voila. Yo

In my country we have “summer time”, so since last saturday our clock is one hour earlier (for example, today at 7 am our clocks is 8 am). After that, my village is a little crazy…. Sometimes the time advances 3 hours and my crops just wittered….
Somebody knows what is happen??
Just make sure you have set the clock on your device to the correct time for your country, then best to restart your device, that should help with your troubles.
After the update of IOS 5 i don't haven any sound at smurfs village when crops are ready. Is this a bug?
Go to Settings on your iPhone, then to Notifications and there make sure you have allowed Sound Notifications for the Smurfs App

I can't believe I'm stuck on something so simple. Level 30, Papa asks me to buy a lantern for some festival. I can't find a lantern. All I tried was the lampposts or streetlights and bought 20 of them. What am I missing?
Those are the three lanterns on a laundry line (the ones for 1500 Coins) and not the lamp posts
I suddenly have 2 papa smurf, 2 smurfettes, 2 baby smurfs, 2 joker smurfs 2grouchy smurfs, and a lot more smurfs walking in my village than before. I now have a total of 45 in stead of 34. It started in lvl 16, and they don't go away. Help?

How to uograde papa's house?
Hello, I installed the game onto my ipad 2 about a week back. After a few days the sound has stopped working in the game, no sound at all. Tested the ipad's sound (works), turned ipad on and off (still no smurf village sound), removed and installed the game (still no sound in game). I'm out of ideas here, don't know what else I can try. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
I have not heard about that issue yet. You are sure you have not accidentally turned of the sound in settings? If it is on, the only thing I can advise about is to contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com)
I just had the same thing happen to me. The sound works on my ipad for everything else but this Smurfs game and the sound is ON in settings. It used to work up until about 2 days ago.
I'm having the exact same problem and was hoping I'd find more info on this problem but it doesnt seem to be posted anywhere…has anyone got any other suggestions?
Not really, besides restarting your device an making sure sound is on (and not just in the settings of the game, but also in the settings of your device) I have no solution for this
I had upgraded papas house before the quest came. But alchemist smurf is still asking for the upgrade. I don't have the option anymore. What do I do?
I have heard from a couple of people who are having this issue. Unfortunately I do not know a solution to that. The only thing I can come up with is to make sure you press "okay" and not "Cancel" or "Not Now" on the task window. Other than that, it is possible that it might not get fixed before the next game update.

It will be a different game on each device, however, if you connect your village to GameCenter and log into the same account on both devices, you can play the same village on iPhone and iPad

Go to the build menu (bottom right corner of the vilage) then choose the camera button at the top
u hold down the power button and the other button that takes u back to your iphone's or ipod touch's or your iPad's home screen for about 5 seconds then let go.
i have ipodtouch, and after the update my smurf village app doesn't work anymore. i click on it, it opens and after the orange screen it closes back. can you do something for it? thanks

Papa smurf wants me to harvest some ingredients for Greedy's salad. A crop of Radishes, a crop of Green Peppers, and a crop of lettuce. I've planted and harvested them all 3 times but the quest is never complete? Can you help?
You have to plant and harvest them in the right order and at the same time, that is start with letuce, then 6 hours before the letuce is ready, plant radishes, and 5 min before they are ready plant the Green Peppers, then harvest them in the exact same order
to mix a green potion you have to "add" a color. How do you do that? It breaks every time I try to drag and drop.
First of all, please do not double post, you posted the same question three times. Every comment gets moderated and answered, but it might take some time, so please be patient. For your question. On the top shelf there are three flasks of potions. Usually they are transparent, but when it says add one gets solid. You have to touch it and drag it to the big bottle, then release. That is about it

It is something that many people are experiencing at the moment and I do not think that you can do anything about it. The way it looks at the moment we will have to wait for a fix from Beeline
I can't enter the game since updated the most recently version ( with Marco sumrf one), all crop going to withered T T
Unfortunately the server issue Beeline is having prevents the game to connect online and it will mean your crops and flowers will wither, there is nothing you can do about it at the moment

If you have all tipes of potions does not neccessary mean you upgraded it. If it is upgraded it has the white rooftop with the stars. If recovering it did not help, you should contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com)

This usually happens if your friends have updated to the latest version and are now giving you one of the new gifts, that you do not yet have. You should update your game, then you will get the gifts again

You can not do anything, it has been removed because it was just a temporary item

Yes, it always said it was temporary and has now been removed. The developers said on their Facebook page that they are planning to use the memory space it frees up for something new, so I guess we have to see what they will add.
I suggest they show advertisement videos in the Smurf theater to earn smurfberries. It would be an additional revenue source, and good alternative for people who don’t want to spend ridiculous amounts of money to get all of the smurfs.

Day and Night mode
Although I have set the day and night mode ON. It's now 10 o'clock in the evening and its still day mode in my game.
When will it go to night mode?
The Day and Night mode is not connected to the local time of our devices, but seems to be connected to the PST time zone, that means it might get dark when it is day for you (depending on were you live). I hope this will get fixed, but at the moment there is nothing you can do about it
I was thinking about that, when I updated the last version this morning, it was in night mode, hum, OK thank you very muche for your reply. I hope that the makers will realise that there are smurf fans all over the world
I am sloop tired of Tailor Smurf taking my money and not putting the selected hat on a Smurf. I try to follow the instructions but it just doesn't work! Pls can anyone help?
You have to tap on tailors hat, then there at the bottom is a button with yarn and a needle, tap on that, and after that you will return to the normal screen, now choose a smurf (who is not working) and the inventory windows pops up. Then you can give the Smurf any of the hats you want him to.

The first thing I would advice is to reboot your device, after it has been powered on again, just start the Smurf's Village App again, generally that helps and your village should be back to normal. If it does not help, please use the recover village tip to restore your village from a point were everything was still working fine. I’ve completed the last level – should I continue to collect XP and coins? – XP doesn’t seem to be collating – got a lot of coins though.
All the XP you gain still count, they just won' t show up. If a new level is added in a future update, you will just jump ahead according to the XP you earned.
I cant buy any path? It will let me buy either the brown ones or the rock ones and place them but they disappear?
That usually means you have reached the maximum number of paths available in your village, to place a new one, you will have to delete another one that is already in your village.
I can't enter into the game anymore. Whenever I press 'play' the whole game shut down and I am back to my iPad main screen. Any help?

When i try to play smurfs, it goes onto the menu and then pauses and then im back at my normal ipods homepage. It sucks because i really want to play my smurfs but i cant!!!! Please help?

In the lower levels, if you have completed all of his tasks, the "!" will disappear and you have to reach the next level before he gives you tasks again.
Papa Smurf wants me to grow cantaloupes in a quest at Level 37, however I do not have enough Smurfberry to purchase the Fruity Fun Pack. How can I get around this quest without having to buy Smurfberry?
Sorry, there is no way to get around the quest. It is a bug, the producers/developers will fix this in the next update, so you can complete all the tasks again without having to use Smurfberries. Unfortunately, if you do not want to use Smurfberries, it means you have to wait for the next update to complete that task and get a new quest
The game wont even sync to my ipod touch 3g says it's there but it's not?
Try to turn your ipod off and on again, that usually helps with problems like that.

If you have tried everything, including the restore village tip and restoring from an iTunes Backup, there is no way to get it back, if that did not work. But you can get your Smurfberries back if you have bought any, you have to contact Beeline Support (they are the creators) and they will restore them. Their email is support@beeline-i.com

It could be a problem with your ipod, have you tried installing the game from the AppStore on the ipod itself, and not via the computer.

There is a bug with the latest update, normally if you go to manage friends there is a red circle next to the name of the friend (top right corner of the name). This red unbanish circle has become invisible, but it still works, just tap the right side of the name in the manage friends section and they should get unbanished
I can't delete a wooden bridge ?? I already put the concrete one up and it's built. So now I have that AND the little wooden beside it. Does anyone know why I cannot opt to delete it? Thxs!!
The little wooden bridge can not be deleted (or moved), only the big one and the stone bridges.

I actually don't think they will, because it has been like that from the beginning, it is the same with the stone steps to the clifftop. The thing is, if you delete it and don't have a bridge there anymore, you can not access that area. You might want to contact Beeline Support and let them now that you want to delete the small bridge, maybe if enough people ask for it they will change it. I have 8 caterpillars and only 3 give me xp. Do they stop producing after a while? Any help would be appreciated. Maybe they can be reset??
They stop giving XP if you have used the time cheat (i.e. setting the clock ahead). If you did that and collected their XP at a future date, they will only give XP again if that date has arrived in real time.
I lost my papa smurf hut. i still have papa smurf, but no hut. i cannot complete tasks requiring potion!!!
Try the Recover Village trick (tapping 16 times on Papa Smurfs Face in the Options Menu until a Recover Village button appears) and recover to a point where you still had Papa’s Hut. You might lose some progress, but at least you will get the hut back.
Logged in today and cannot scroll all the way to the left hand side any more, I can only get about two thirds of the way across. A rebot of the iPad does not help, also tried to load the same game on my iPhone and had the same problem. Anyone got any ideas?
Have you deleted a bridge? You have to have a completed bridge to access that area.

it happened to me before, you don't need to reboot the game center you need to reboot your iPhone it worked for me,
My Handy Smurf mini-game is stuck in the OUCH position. Pause, reboot GC doesn't fix it. Any help out there? I'm glad this isn't my favorite mini game but I miss the XPs from playing. Thanks!
yes you have to reboot your iPhone in order to get back to normal.
My village does not let me know when my crops are ready any more. I have been into main menu and all notifications are on and have tried turning it off then on again. Please help all my crops are wilting.
You might also want to make sure that you have allowed notifications on your device for the app, not just turn it on in the options menu of the game. If you are using iOS, go to Settings (on your device), Notifications and look for the Smurfs Game.
I had the same thing happen about two days ago. Now most of my village is gone. I went back down to 12 smurfs. And cannot get to expansions or island.

correct . If using apple device, do a back up (not sync) to itune before updating game. For Andoid, see there is an app that you can backup both app and data.
Ok, i am using the Droid Incredible. Can you tell me if you know how i back up ? Iam not seeing any info on that.
For android, each device provider has it's own backup app. Check with your device provider. I have Asus tablet and there is already Asus backup app on my tablet.
Apple has itune backup.
You may also recover last saved game by clicking the option on main menu then tap the face of papa smurf 16 times. Then recover game option Will show up. You'll see there dates of saved games and choose which game you would like to restore
