VIP Status in the Smurfs village

vip_badgeThe Nanny Smurf Update (version 1.4.6 on iOS) added a new VIP store section to the game.

The VIP section is, according to Beeline “… designed to reward our most valuable players with exclusive content and features you can only get by being a VIP“.

VIP Store & other advantages

The VIP store itself contains special premium (i.e. Smurfberry) items that are not available otherwise. These include, at the moment, items from past limited time sale offers such as the pheasant or the baby deer, and exclusive items like the sheep. Not all items are available in each of the four areas.

 

There is also a VIP statue available in every area. It is free and can be used to show of the VIP status.

Moreover, on the friend’s maps others will see a VIP badge next to the village banner. We assume at the moment that the VIP section will feature more exclusive items and in-game advantages in the future.

 

 

How to become VIP

vip_tokensTo unlock the VIP store in the game and to gain VIP access the player must have six tokens. Tokens are earned by making in-game purchases. If a purchase gives tokens

this is indicated by a little token icon in the bottom right corner of the item in the build menu.

The following regular purchases are available to earn tokens:

The special offers that come up from time to time also give tokens when purchased. Their amount varies and depends on the offer.

VIP Expiration

The VIP status can expire. Once a player has been granted access to the VIP Store by getting six tokens the tokens will start to expire. Every 30 days two tokens expire.

 

That means after first unlocking the VIP status at least one token (for example a Smurfberry Bush for 4.99 USD) has to be bought every 30 days after the first five tokens have expired.

To maintain access to the VIP store at least one token must remain. Purchasing new special offers or other in-game items regularly will help maintain the VIP status..

When all tokens are gone the VIP status is lost and it requires once again six new tokens to get the status back.

 

Lifetime VIP

According to Beeline, players who have spent 200 USD or more will gain lifetime VIP access without having to make sure that they keep at least one token.

This status is granted automatically.

 

vip_earned

The VIP program is retro-active! Players only need to have spent the equivalent of $200 U.S. Dollars over the course of their time as players to become LIFETIME VIPS.

Any player who knows that he or she has spent the equivalent of $200 U.S. Dollars or more in the game over their history as a player, who has NOT been given automatic LIFETIME VIP status should contact customer support with their receipts and they will be given VIP Status.

  1. I was l life time vip and and smurf village is under icloud an when I load my village to my iPhone 6 plus I lost my lifetime VIP status. But very thing else is the same.

      If you move your village, your VIP will not follow you. You have to open a ticket and ask Beeline to reinstate it. You can reach them at http://beeline-i.com/support.php

      You can get a refund from Apple/Google, but only with a valid reason (like the purchased item not working or something like that).

    It's HIGHLY unfair that refreshing Smurfberry bushes don't earn any VIP tokens! They cost money, they should earn something – even if it's just 1/2 a token.

    Can someone tell me how many VIP tokens are gven for a bundle worth 24.99 USD? I bought one bundle wirh the smurf knight on a horse, and another bundle with a Smurf in a. Helmet, both bundles gave 300 berries, and wood, dye, stardust, stone.

    1 have a balance of only 1 token in my VIP account and a couple days of VIP status left. Do I need to buy stuff worth 2 more tokens? Or will buying stuff worth only 1 token suffice to extend my VIP status for another 30 days? Thanks so much for all the great support!

      If that one token expires in a couple of days, leaving you with zero tokens after it expires, you need to make a purchase for a minimum of 1 token as it states in the article. You need to make the purchase BEFORE the token you have currently expires.

    I've lost my VIP tokens too. I had three of them, and now i have just one (after the latest update, i guess). This is obviously a common error, and should be fixed because it really isn't nice. Although, i shouldn't have spent any money on this in the first place. It's stupid … with people dying all around the world. :D Period! This sucks …

      What you need to do is open a ticket with Beeline Support at http://beeline-i.com/support.php and choose the option for VIP access problems. You can type in the nature of the problem and include at least one of your receipt numbers. Beeline will contact you and ask that you provide proof of purchase for all of your purchases that count toward VIP status, but don't send all the receipts until they ask you to do so. You will be able to find your receipts on iTunes or Google, depending on the platform you play on.

      This has happened on occassion to other players as well, the only thing you can do is to open a ticket with beeline, they will ask for proof of purchase and then reinstate your vip status

    can someone help me please? i got VIP status, but only for one day. I had 6 tokens, now i only have 4 but i should still be a vip for 90 days ( have spent $65 on the game, and had 6 tokens). I have written to beeline 3 times, i am getting no help from them!!! Everytime i open a ticket, i attach all my receipts for smurfberry purchase etc, but they are not helping me. i get an automated response that they have opened a ticket, then nothing happens! is there any way to hurry them up? thanks

      Do not attach all of your receipts. It doesn't help them, and probably only inundates them. They operate during normal business hours during the US business week, so you won't get any answers out of hours. You should also be aware that the weather patterns in the US East Coast and Midwest have been extreme, and yesterday was a bank holiday (but I don't know if Beeline had that day off or not). Open another ticket. Explain the gist of the problem. Wait for the automated ticket and then wait two BUSINESS days. If you have not heard anything back from them, then reply to the automated message ABOVE the line that is indicated, and ask politely for status on your issue. Hopefully, this will help get their attention.

        I'm so very upset! i was given VIP status for one day, i have feathers and the gold statue to prove it, i have emailed beeline all my receipts, they are saying i dont qualify for vip status. But i do! i had 6 tokens, the next day i only had 4 tokens, i should still have vip status for 90 days. I wrote to beeline, and they dont listen to me! i even sent them screenshots. i will be making a complaint to iTunes and requesting my money back for SB, because i should have vip status. beeline has made a mistake and they refuse to check. Does beeline have a phone number i can call? So very frustrating.

            thanks so much! they have emailed me again telling me i am not entitled, i have replied that yes i am entitled to vip. I have accumulated 6 tokens in february. 2 tokens each for 2 resource machines and i bought a bucket of smurberries for 1 token and a smurfberry bush for 1 token. that is 6 tokens in total just for february. they dont seem to understand. i sent them screenshots of my receipts as well, but they dont seem to understand me. lets hope they eventually understand what i am saying to them . Besides the receipts, i had VIP status for one day, then it was gone. and i have the gold statue and Feathers to prove i was vip. thanks for your help, i know you are volunteers.

            You're welcome. Hopefully, they will figure it out and get back in contact with you. It appears from what you've said above that you should at least have 90 days at VIP but that you don't have enough for Lifetime VIP. Maybe that's where the confusion lies. Maybe the person who has been corresponding with you has misinterpreted your request as Lifetime VIP. Let us know what happens, and I'll let you know if I hear anything back, too. :)

    I bought 6 stars and i had vip status. They write i will have it 90 days but adter 5 days all my stars dissapear and now i don' t have nothing what happen?

      You have to open a ticket with Beeline and tell them there is something wrong with your VIP status. They will write back and ask for your receipts, and they will fix it.

      All of the items you purchase and place from the VIP menu will remain in your village and will remain functional. The only ecception is that the bird used to instantly travel will remain where you have placed him, but he will cease to function as instant traveler.

    I have six token and I buy SB the next day.
    Then I should have more than six token but the vip status only last for 90 days( not 120 days).
    Is it a bug? or the VIP maximum at 90 days.

      Max is 90 days until you spend enough for VIP. You can read the terms by tapping VIP on your build menus and then tapping VIP Program Information.

          I'm so bothered, feathers feature which help you to move between the four areas so easily can't be affective without the vip status, plus I've paid money in exchange of that so it's my right, anyways i say go a head & write a ticket to beeline so you can get it back.

            Good luck with Beeline. I lost mine on the 23 December and despite telling me twice that it was reset it hasn't been. Beeline now say there is a bug and have no estimate on when it will be fixed :-(

    I love the idea of having a VIP store, because it is an amazing reward for loyal players. I love how the items change for each update, making those items extremely unique. They also make my village pretty.

    However, I think spending $200 on a permanent VIP is a bit costly, and I feel that Beeline is desperately asking for more money. I guess it is reasonable that they are asking for money (pay employees, developers, etc.) but i think $200 upfront is a bit demanding and desperate.

      Please note that the $ 200 is not a one time payment, but an accumulated amount. Spending $ 200 on a good game over 3 years is not really a lot if you like the game. Many have qualified for the status, and it shows it's not that difficult to earn that status.

      The shrub machine is not what allows you to have the Plant All function. You need to place the moon buggy which is an extension of your Farmer on the mainland village.

    I have a problem in space. In my game there is extra space to open. When a opend this I can't place enithing on it. I wenth back a view days and the birds were not there. Now there are back But I don't sie them in my friends village. Is there a bug??????

      We're not sure what you're asking. What is wrong in your Swoof planet? Don't worry about what you see in your friends' villages. You're only seeing a snapshot of what their village looks like. Can you please rephrase your question so that we can try to answer and assist you?

    I wish they would modify this to base becoming a VIP on the amount of smurfberries spent in game rather than spending more cash on more smurfberries… I've already got enough smurfberries for the next several updates and nothing i want to spend them on. At least basing it on smurfberries used would encourage people to spend the smurfberries they have on hand to achieve becoming a VIP :-) Essentially if someone were to purchase 2 wheel barrels that would give them VIP status. So couldn't they just make it every 250 smurfberries you become VIP for 2 months and once you've spent 4000 smurfberries over all you'd become lifetime VIP? To me that would make more sense. And reward users who've already made smurfberry purchases.

    In a random village I was visiting, I saw a smurf hospital!! Does anyone know how to get it??? It is not the first time I have seen it. & no, I am not referring to the animal sanctuary nor a simple hut with a Switzerland flag next to it… Anyone????       I am not aware of a smurf hospital. I do now that a while ago some people hacked the game and got stuff like color changing frogs etc. as well as items that were never made available before (like the watchtower wonder in the mainland). So that might be it. If you can see it again, could you take a screenshot? Maybe then we can give you more information.

    Yikes. Regardless of my opinion about VIP, the fact is that ALL video games and personal electronic device entertainment are divided by a haves/haves not system. Those who can afford it, and choose to pay for something, are able to own it or receive the service. Data plans: not free. Subscriptions to gaming services: not free. Cell phone service: not free. Smurfs Village App & ability to play all levels of the game: FREE. There is no way people are getting ripped-off here. It is a fair system. If you want "more", then you pay for it.

      Thank you for posting such a level-headed comment!! I have played the Smurfs Village for a long time and for most of that time I never purchased specialty items, but I still loved the game. I do buy more items now but regardless of that I have always enjoyed this game and am grateful that they keep coming out with fun updates for it. If any of you smurfers have played even one other game on your phones or tablets then they should know that most every game works this way. They've got to make money somehow! If you don't purchase items you still have access to new land expansions, holiday content, and all the other fun changes they make on a regular basis. Let's not look at the glass as half empty. :)

    While some of you us complain about money and struggle with lost items I am lucky to say that the last update is cool. I've been playing SV since February 2011 and, yes, it seems that I have spent quite a lot of money on it. When I updated the game last weekend I was in Israel and I was quite astonished that I didn't get VIP status. When I opened the game for the first time after my return home to Switzerland I got the message that I have obtained lifetime status. I don't know whether it had to do with my being in another country or not but it seems that maybe they were just late with some of us?
    So there's a lot of cool stuff in the game:
    – Those who haven't obtained VIP can play on like before. VIPs have the opportunity to buy more animals and stuff, that's it. And we can place VIP statues in all the different corners of our Smurf World.
    – Tracker seems to work quite fine, even though baking 2 cakes forces you to either give 1 SB or to stop going on playing until the bakery is ready again.
    – There are new quests that reward you with SB (I got almost 40 SB with the update) even if I don't know how I should get more mystery eggs as I have reached character limit.
    – I like the new crops in the main village (especially the 12 hours yellow squash).
    The only problem I seem to have is that the game gets slower and slower with every update on my old iPhone4.

    I noticed something VERY WEIRD in my village! Two of my special items (a water fountain and the love birds nest, which I bought with money) are suddenly changed into the silo you can use to speed up the crops! (That white shed with green roof, if you tapp it you can use SB to speed up crops)
    I can see that the water fountain and the love birds nest are behind the silo's if I tapp it to move it, but I can't get them back! I tried putting the two silo's into the shed (where you can store items) and then put it back in my village, but my items are still behind that silo! Who else has this problem? And what can I do to solve it?

      This is a known bug, it is nothing really "bad" just a graphics glitch. Beeline will fix it in a future update, for now there is nothing you can do about it.

      You click on the crystal grinder and then you choose which crystals and how many you want to grind. That's about it. You can grind once a day and up to 50 crystals. i do not have the grinder so I am not 100% sure, but I think the crystals must be in the crystal storage to be eligible for grinding.

      Click the grinder and a window opens up.
      Chose between two options:
      – 'Mountain': Touch any crystal on your mountain and it will turn grey and get a red frame on the ground. This is how you chose which crystals you want to grind.
      – 'Crystal storage': You find your inventory of crystals in your storage. Now it's a bit tricky:
      For each type of crystal you find a minus sign on the left and a plus sign on the right.
      By default the game proposes to delete 50 violet crystals. If you don't want this, click the minus sign of the violet crystal and the plus signs of the other crystals turn active. So if you want to delete 10 crystals of each type you have to click on the minus sign of the violet crystal 40 times and the plus sign of each other crystal 10 times. You can see how many crystals there will be ground. And remember: The maximum is 50!
      For both options: an the end click 'recycle' and the crystals are gone and the xp show up.
      If you don't grind 50 crystals at one time the recycle sign of the grinder remains active and you can grind more crystals later.

    After the last update some of my cleared space in the space expansion was turned to black. I needed to clear them again. However during the 2nd clearance I could not get new craters. My craters number remained same..

      The disappearing of the expansions means your data was corrupted. Instead of clearing the space again you should recover your village to a point when everything was okay to prevent further corruption. This might also be the reason for your crater problem. Was it the second expansion overall or the second of the ones that disappeared? You do not get a crater for every expansion.

    Did anyone else notice that after that update the chance of getting SBs from dusting craters has decreased? Before I got 1 SB in every third of fifth complete dusting of 8 craters, but now I hardly get any :(

      There are some issues with the expansions in space, but I have not heard about that particular one. You should use the recover village future and restore your village to yesterday, then clear that space again. It might fix this, if it does not, please contact Beeline support.

    Since the last update my game has become slow and jerky, especially in the miners and naughty knock out games. The timer count down freezes when this is happening. Please can this be fixed as I am unable to play this game at the moment.

      This has happened to more people and Beeline is aware of this, we hope it gets fixed with the next update, but there has not been an ETA from Beeline.

      If you restore your village with Helium, your SB are within the backup, and there is no need tor Beeline to reinstate them. Beeline will not support issues you may have with restoring with Helium, but if all goes awry and you end up having to restart the game, they are very good about reinstating Purchased SB to your new game.

      Beeline said that they will make new things available for VIP, which is supposed, according to their support forum, include fast travel between the areas and things like that. But I am sure they will also add new items for the store but we have to wait and see what they have planned.

    I still seem to be having trouble with Tracker. He asks for two Smurfs to eat strawberry cupcakes, but doesn't count them when they're done one at a time. They're not in the gifting menu, so I'm not sure how to get past this. It's happened two weeks in a row.

      Are you sure you are baking the correct cakes? (They should have a little icon of tracker smurf next to them in the baking game menu). If you are sure you are baking the correct ones, you should contact Beeline support: http://www.beeline-i.com/support.php

          You need to bake them in a row witbout doing any other function in the game. He will not count the cakes if you collect xp or play any other minigames between the time you bake the first and second cake. You can leave the game open in the background if you don't want to spend a SB.

            By the way, that is also happening when he asks to gain more XP in Handys or Greedys Game than the maximum you can get in 1 game. If you play once, then do nothing else and don't close the app and play again some hours later, he accumulates the XP correctly. So, best do it, before going to bed or work :)

  42. I received my well-deserved LIFETIME VIP status last night when my Android processed the upgrade. Considering that I first downloaded the game two weeks ago and have spent not one dime on resources, I will proudly display my statue throughout my village.

    Just have android update. Very surprised that beeline add goals in space. I got extra 48 SBs as i have already complete some goals.
