Alchemist Smurf (smurf with stars hat) also walks freely through the village and he lives in Papa Smurfs house and upgrades the potion mixing mini-game of Papa Smurf. He was added in the September 2011 update of the game (app version 1.1.3) and is available from level 23 onwards.
To get Alchemist Smurf Papa Smurf will, sometime after having reached level 23, give the task to send 3 Smurfs out for 24 hours and when they return, Alchemist Smurf will be with them.
Alchemist Smurfs will give you tasks himself, just like Papa Smurf. The first task is to upgrade Papa Smurf’s house. After he gives you the task, just tap on Papa’s house and click on upgrade. The upgrade costs 500 coins and changes his rooftop from red to white with yellow stars and moons (just like Alchemists Hat).
This upgrade does not only change the appearance of Papa’s Hut, however, but also changes his potion mixing game. After the upgrade, it is possible, if the required minimum level has been reached, to mix three new potions (yellow potion for max. 250 XP, green potion for max. 400 XP and orange potion for a maximum of 600 XP). Moreover, just like the golden axe in Miner Smurf’s Mini Game, a new item is available to make the game easier, i.e. make it easier to mix the correct colours. This item is the”Magic Flask” which costs 20 Smurfberries.
Hi Smurfette! Please help me finish the three new potions (yellow potion for max. 250 XP, green potion for max. 400 XP and orange potion for a maximum of 600 XP). I can't finish it because the flask keeps on breaking even I'm not moving it. How can I pass it? tnx! =)
This is a third potion creating modus besides "shake" and "hold". It says add" and means you have to tap and drag one of the potions from the top shelf into the big flask

I sent my smurfs out to get alchemist and when they returned with him I immediately received a few quest from papa smurf resulting in me NOT having a alchemist smurf… my potions as well have not unlocked can you please help and tell me why? Thanks
This seems to be a bug, the quest might come up as soon as the new quests are done, but you should contact Beeline anyways (support@beeline-i.com) so they can help you

Have you done all of Papa Smurf's tasks?
Yes I have… On top of that all of Papas new task involve sending Smurfs out for up to 50 hours!! I'll never make it to level 26 without smurfberries!! At least not in 2012!!
To get to the next level fast the most important thing is to plant as many crops as possible, especially the magical blueberries and magical raspberries work good (but they make a coin loss, so you must have a reserve for that). I usually plant magical raspberries over the day and (golden) corn over night to get my coins back, that method has worked good for me.
Regarding Alchemist, he should be there if you have done the tasks, but there seems to be some problems with him missing lately. Please contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com)
Assuming of course, you have installed the latest version of the game (i.e. 1.1.7 on iOS and 1.0.4a on Android), otherwise it would be normal that he is not there if you have a version that does not include him yet.
My version is showing as 1.0.4.1ay

I am on level 25 and my alchemist smurf was gone from level 24. I did grow all the crops Papa smurf requested and upgraded papa smurf house as well. Is that normal that alchemist was gone?
No, it is definetly not normal. Make sure he really is gone and you are not just not seeing him. If he is gone, please contact Beeline (support@beeline-i.com)

@ the level 23, I can’t find papa Smurf House ?..

I need help with papa smurf’s second riddle. “room with no floor, no roof, no doors, and no windows. ” it says that I need to place the item in order to complete the mission. All I could think of is a ‘brain’ but obviously, there’s no brain in the items (unless I totally missed it) please help. Thank you!

When Jokey is ready to give you his daily gift, tap him and you will get the gift to complete the task. You might want to read our article on Jokey Smurf.

Sometimes you have to add potions to the bottle from the shelf in the right corner
I'm playing on iPhone and did not manage it to add a bottle from the shelf. Neither tapping on it nor swiping works.

Papa Smurf's house should not have disappeared. Could be a bug. Have you tried restoring your game to an earlier time before it disappeared?

If after waiting for more than 24 hours and you tap Jokey Smurf and get nothing, you could be among the many experiencing the latest series of bugs…We are waiting for Beeline to confirm on this.

Has it been more than 24 hours since you last collected a gift from Jokey? If yes, try finding Marco Smurf in your friends' villages and collect a gift from him. This has been said to solve Jokey's issue as well.
Im on level 39 and I have to collect a package from Jockey, he has the exclamation sign on his head but when I tap on him he just laughs and says “collect a package from me”, but nothing is happening!!!…help!
he can only gift every 24h. Sit back , relax and wait for 24h, then tap him to collect a package.

For your night time issue, have you turned ON the effects in your options menu? As for Jokey Smurf, try locating Marco Smurf and collect a gift from him. This will trigger and resolve Jokey's issue as well.
I've had this problem with mixing potions for alchemist smurf at the part when it says "drag the highlighted potion from the shelf to your potion". the potion won't seem to move when I'm dragging it to the potion I'm making. any ideas on why I can't drag the potions from the shelf?

I use finger to slide up and down fast.. If it doesnt move fast enough, i shake it , or shake and slide at the same time.
When see "Add Color", drag the color to bottle. Tapping color wont work.

Ok alchemist smurf said please harvest a crop of pears for me but there is no pears in the crop menu!!!!!!!
Pears is a crop found in the shrub menu…not your normal crops. Have you built a shrub yet?
you must add a tree, then click it and a different menu pops up like the crops one, and it is the 2nd option labeled "PEARS' 48 hours
how does the magic flask works? will it really help make the potions easier to create?
It reduces the game's difficulty level and time is longer.
I'm on level 23 and since level 22 Papa smurf tells me to tap the ship to travel to the island and I can't see a ship anywhere. Am I missing something? I also don't have alichemy smurf?

I am on level 36 and smurfettes mission is to plant 10 crops of tomatoes, 10 crops of artichokes, and 10 crops of corn. I have dine this 4 times and can’t seem to complete the mission. Smurfettes still says the same thing. Help!
Is it to plant or harvest? If it's harvest, you may have to harvest them all at the same time.
i have the same issue as Natalie and i harvest them all at the same time and it still doesn't show as a completed task

hi, apparently its 10 crops of GOLDEN corn, i found that out from beeline. that takes the longest, so plant that then after an hour plant the artichokes and tomatoes so on so everything is ready at the same time.

You need to restore your game. See recovery section on how to bring up saved village, see which one has papa hut and recover from there.
How come I can't Mix an orange potion with out it failing ?

It is one of the crops of the summer salad crop pack, you can find it at your gardens in the main village.
I simply cannot win the potion game since the alchemist update. I'm level 40 on an itouch, I can't drag to add new ones, shaking does not work, I've always used the quick sliding finger to play. It kinda works, but either over does it or barely move the meter at all. Help! I can't complete a quest because of it.

A keg is the wine vate, it's in the building menu for 1000 gold.
Since the new update, Jokey Smurf gives me Papa Smurf's house upgrade (so it has the stars and moons on the roof etc) and then the Village resets – I loose all smurfs, houses, crops etc, but the game still says I'm on the same level and have the same amount of coins. I have an Android phone. This has happened twice now. Any ideas??

It's a tree. You can find it in the build menu. Acorn is the first type of shrub smurfs can harvest.

U "upgrade handy shop" on main land by completing 5 long quests (sending smurfs to find things for handy…) on main land FIRST. The 5 long quests will lead to handy shop upgrade which adds a new menu on top of existing button "play mini game" . After that, u can buy architect on island.

You need to complete Papa Smurf's quests in the main village first. He will want you to upgrade Handy's hut by sending smurfs into the forest for about 5 times.
First u have to upgrade workshop on the main land, it will take time as papa smurf will send smurfs in forest many times to find d notebook of handy, once they'll find it they will ask u to upgrade the workshop, then u ll b able to built architect house… So wait

I used to have no problem mixing potions, but now I can't beat the yellow, which is supposed to be easy. I cant drag the highlighted potions down when it says add and no matter how I mix (using finger sliding or shaking phone) the potion always explodes. I have upgraded my phone and I have reset my phone.
Will someone please give me some ideas? Cheers!
Happens to me sometimes. What you can do is to tap and drag the required potion slowly into the bottle, either that or you keep trying to play the game. There are some rounds that don't require you to add any potions.
Hi. Im level 29 and Alchemist smurf gave me a quest. The quest tells me to mix an orange potion. Everytime i play the minigame i fail. it wont let me add any potions and i dont know why. can someone please help me? thanks

Which quest are you doing now? The quests appear in the order of level progress, you may be doing the Handy quests now.
