Architect smurf was introduced in Version 1.2.0 which was released in May 2012. During the game Papa Smurf will ask you to build Architect Smurf’s house (hut), this will happen after a discussion takes place between him and other Smurfs:
Smurf 1: Wasn’t there an Architect smurf?
Smurf 2: He retired to smurf a set of condominiums once.
Smurf 3: He retired after they burned down
Papa Smurf: May be if we build him a house, we can convince him to set up a shop again.
Then you will get a quest from Papa Smurf Asking you to build Architect’s House (Build Architect’s Hut).
Buying Architect smurf’s Hut will enable you to customize the huts in the island. Architect’s Hut can only be built in the island, and costs only 1500 gold coins. However if you go to the shop menu on the island it tells you that it requires Handy’s hut Shop. So before you get Architect Smurf’s house you need first to upgrade Handy’s Hut in the main village. there are few quests you need to get them completed before you get him
you need to unlock dreamy first to get to the island and should be lvl 19 up to unlock him because he is only available in the island.
I have the architect smurfs in the island, but when i choose the dye to color the roof, it doesn't work. Please help
To be able to change the color of the the houses on the island you have to have Painter Smurf on the mainland. Moreover, using Architect's colours costs dye, are you sure you have enough dye?
I need more bolts from friends. How do I change my name so it shows that I need bolts?
Just post under the "add me" article with your Game Center ID and say you need bolts (iOS). Android uses Facebook to connect.
I bought a heart roof to an island before it asked me something to do. And now, the game didn t see the hut is already customised and ask me to bought the same heart roof ! It expensive and can t do that two times in a few weeks ! How can i fix it ?
Probably you cannot fix it. Sometimes the game will credit you for things you've already done before it asks you to do them, and sometimes it will not.
Okay, so i Iost 3800xp and 120 wood 75 stone 30 dye !!! Because I have customized during challenge ! My goal is completed for 25 customization but no way that beeline can detect what we have done on hut for later quest !
Since this bug, the smurf always ask to do the same quest and I can t because too expensive as I already said !

icon of Papa Smurf's face 16 times. A new button (Recover Village) will now appear. Tapping this button will bring you to a list of saved village data. From here, you can tap on a listed saved village state and tap "Preview Village," which will allow you to view the village. While
viewing the village, tapping the red arrow at the bottom-right of the screen will bring you back to the "Recover Village" menu, where you will be asked whether or not you would like to use the previewed village's data. Tapping "Yes" will select the previewed village's data."
I don t want to go back To level 35 !
What level are you on currently? You should at the very most only have to go back one level.
I am lvl 38 and no way to go back under, it s so hard to do it alone.
As you can see, I chose blue butterflies itanesd of the birds, and also removed the background image as well as trimmed down the borders. Kind of minimalistic but still has style. Also I like the Georgia font, it is easy to read on screen. Thank you.
What is papa smurfs quest of something with no roof, no wall, no floor? I can't find what it is.

It keeps telln me to place three hanging lanterns nd I've done it a few times nd nothing
Are you placing the correct ones? The hanging lanterns cost 1500 coins each.
Is Architect Smurf for upgrading huts only? Or are we able to paint chairs, fences and such? (I tried and can't)
Architect Smurf functions the same way as Handy Smurf, except for Architect Smurf, you can use dyes(assuming you have sufficient( to color your stuff on the island.

I think it is safe now but if it removes the custamization recover it.

How to send raft and collect dye? I already send out rafts by different hours, I tried it all. But still can't get dye.

The dye raft is at the bottom off the list.
I lost my 2 Hut customization, after 3 days & I see you keep saying, if you move it you lose it. Well that's wrong, I didn't move anything on my village & my customization was lost. I'm very upset, a lot of items were spent for this customization. & you don't seem to be fixing this so called bug. I keep losing things on my smurf village.
I'm better off playing farmville, at least there I don't lose anything. Farmville here I come.
I read somewhere else that if you have Architect smurf then the time for building the stone steps on the island is reduced in half. Is that true?
I have Architect smurf but the stone steps still take 120 hours.
The only thing I know is that hefty smurf can reduce the building time both on the island and in the main village
Hi, I've just bought Architect's hut before papa smurf asked me to and I've already upgraded handy's hut and upgraded every mushroom house. I've clicked on architects hut and all it says is "Arictect cannot mix dyes without painter smurf …." and then under that it says "Arictect Smurf" Is it only meant to say them ?

You get 5 tasks from papa smurf (in the main village) and after that you get the option to tap on handys hut and upgrade it
This also confuses me. I have architect smurf and when I tap on it it says "Architect cannot mix dyes without painter smurf ….". If i'm following the steps above in upgrading Handy's Shop in the main island, I believe I have done it. I have upgraded most of my huts in the mainland. Do I need to purchase Painter Smurf so I can make use of Architect Smurf in the island?
I think that you ned painter smurf in the main village to be abble to change collor on the huts roofs but you should be able to customize the huts anyway

Complete Papa Smurfs quests to get Handy's shop, then you can buy Architect on the island.
i have handys hut on main land and papa is saying now to buy architects house….but i cant find it and am slightly lost lol
Have you upgraded handys hut on main land ?. If you tap on handys hut you should get two options nr 1- Handys shop 2- play handys game. If yo have have that you should find architects hut in the shop on the island

Go to his hut and click on it, you'll see a small bar that says upgrade

The customazations might disappear if you move your huts. Don't move customized huts.
What can you tell us about clockwork smurf? Will he give missions?

If you have the island, then you can get architect . Island quests starts around level 19 or 21 which I can't remember.

Do you have the architect ? If yes then there should be a message telling you to tap the bottle to get the clockwork blueprint.

the only way you can get more dye is from neighbors gifts. Can't buy it.

You can get Dye if you bye Painter Smurfs hut for 30 Smurfberries then play his games to get more colours of paint which shows up as dye colors in architect smurf's hut
Yes u can buy dye. But only within inside the shop. For dyes, you get options. A small pack and a big pack.

Is anyone having trouble with getting to their island? The game shuts off when I try sailing to the island. I have restarted the game multiple times but it doesn't help. Any suggestions?
I have same problem. Many tries need to go to the island (about 10-15 tries). From island to normal village, there is no problem.
I contacted beeline nut they haven't gotten back to me.

nothing you can do really apart disconnect and reconnect to your Internet and wait until will show up. If you log out from your Game center or facebook and log on again it may help, I did it and it worked for me.
You move it You loose it, thanks for telling. I lost all on My Island, but not in the main village, now i know why. But the dye stayed on the roof at least
I'm not happy with the last upgrade!! I have Architect House but I don't like the customization in the Huts, in both the village and the island, ! It's very consuming
( . As to the clock work, I have the blueprint since a week but I haven't done any thing with it. I don't know how and where to find it!!!! And I don't have friends to gift it to me! And it too expensive to buy 1 bolt!,,, 1 bolt=25 SB, 10bolts=250 SBs, 250SBs=20$ !!!!! That is a lot for one quest:((( plz have mercy on us .
I'm really enjoying these Architect Smurf/Clockwork Smurf quests. A lot of quests are too easy. I like it when they're difficult!
Is anyone else experiencing problems with visiting friends villages with the game crashing? It's driving me mad as taking soooo long to leave gifts!

Me too, but really depends.
Sometimes, when it crashes at almost every try, I restart my device and it usually goes better.

I frequently have this problem too, and I have a new ipad so it is not the device. Seems to happen a lot more often on high level friends. I just keep trying again, but it is very frustrating.

Mine too, not every time but it almost to the same people. When I try it leave them a gift it crashes. Also the game center doesnt always connect me all the time anymore but oh we'll…. I try not let it bother me. I used to work with repairing cell phones and one can only imagine the amount of issues ppl say they have when it can't be duplicated nor does it really affect much but to waste 2 hours in a store to be told it was updates or the cell is like a computer not every site is secured etc…sorry to be off subject. What do the numbers on the various dye bottle colours in Architect’s menu mean? Why do I have 2 yellow but 8 pink, for example? Confused about this. Is it the price or how many can be done in that colour? essentially it seems to work like painter smurf in the main village but then you need to pay/ get gifts for this one to work. Can someone clarify? Thx
I bought and built a wooden shed yesterday and it got finished and looked nice all day. This morning when I open the game it's gone from the hut! But my wood level is still as after I bought it. Grr.. has this happened to anyone else?
Yes it happened to me toand lots of others. I think it's a bug.

Can you make a page on how to find clockwork smurf? I know you can get pieces from friends, but its taking too long time, and hes really expencive in SB.
Also, there is a bug in my village. When i try to customize huts, they go back to normal after a few hours. Really sad as ive used lots of money on dye, wood and stone.
(( i saw that people complained about this in your last thread, so why are you refusing to mention this bug in your bug solution guide?
Look on this site and you'll find many friend requests. If you request those people as friends in game centre, you should be able to get the bolts fast enough (if you consider approximatively 20 bolts per day). But you'll have to send gifts back too (takes some time, but will be useful to get other supplies to customize huts).

Love your website, but could your reorganize the contents links? It is a bit confusing to find what you want quickly (like the different smurfs info is all over the content section).
Completely agree with Kimberly – keep up the great work! I would also love to see all most frequently encountered bugs along with – and this is important – their work-arounds/solutions listed on a separate page and a link to that page added at the top of this website. I can't tell you how many times I've seen the same question asked over and over again on pretty much every topic page here – I'm sure you are tired of seeing that too!

I also agree with you, but the admin team here already have pages such as these….at the very top is a "bugs and solutions" area to click, and at the right hand side of the page is a list of problems and their solutions under "troubleshooting".
But….Errr….the team need to update these to include the current problems and glitches. And maybe them move the appropriate posts and questions to those areas, like Bethany does on the beeline site.

Thank you guys for your feedback and complements we really appreciate them. with regards to bugs & solutions section it already exist as CaroSmurf mentioned SmurfAddict, but it is not very active and we haven't update it since last time, that's why is not well known. We have planned to redesign it, we contacted a professional web-designer he gave a quote of $2500 which we really cant afford it. Coming up to the comments, is very annoying to get the same question , you are right smurfaddict, I feel people are just lazy to read previous comments, at the moments we have over 170 comments are waiting to be answered, plus over 2000 private messages, and all the moderators are either full time workers or students, so we are trying to do our best to answer all queries on time. Just came on sale today.
Realise the new customization hut options are buggy. States a wooden shed builds in 4 hours but in fact it builds in 8 hours. Having hefty smuf does not seems to apply. Also the chances of finding a blueprint from a voyage (straw shed and straw doorway) is as minimal as getting the 3rd/4th totem piece.
oops i mean to say it still takes 4 hours to build a wooden shed on main island even though it says 2 hours
