Beeline surprises iOS user releasing version 1.1.8

Beeline surprises again Smurfs’ village Apple iOS community by releasing an unexpected new update 1.1.8 at the time where everybody was waiting for Easter update. Few aesthetic changes were made. At the introduction screen a news ticker was added, either to highlight what’s new in the update or to inform the users of any available guidance tips. The color of Pink and orange Snails was made fluorescent during the night. (According to Beeline representative, this is a bug, but for once, could be a positive bug).
The update was mainly made for the island, where the zoom in/out bug was fixed, and tons of decoration items (totem poles, surf boards, flags,..) were added. In addition many quests were assigned by Jokey where he asks you to plant crops as well as he ask to you to collect package from himself, although this quest seem to be buggy. For those who did not catch the bug, Jokey’s last quest would be to send 5 smurfs into the forest before his quests end. A free land expansion also added at the left side of the island. New bugs also can be found in this update such the dam which takes few days to be built can be deleted a second and you have to wait an other week to re-build it or you have to spend a batch of 15 smurfberries . In addition to that few items were added in friends gifts list such us red mushroom, yellow potion,…

A few good goodies were added to the Village and tons of fun to the island for 1.1.8.
- A new land expansion is available on the island at level 24
- Lots of new decorations on the island including a tree swing, surf boards, flags, beach umbrellas and more
- New quests in the village including a quest chain for Jokey Smurf
- Gifts added on the island and new and revised gifts for the village.
- A new message-in-a-bottle feature for the island.
Now it’s saying plant 99 cantaloupe !!!! This is way to much
Got the 1st bottle quest,and u have to grow lots of tomatoes for Brainy,I hate that so many ppl were on here lying! What was the point!?!?

I finished the quest and when I went to get my gift it disappeared after placing. Couldn't even tell what it was. The island has so many bugs it's a pathetic joke!!
I grew a bunch Of tomatoes to pass time formy dam to be finished. Now I have to plant 25 honeydew as part 2. For those who haven’t received a bottle it floats in the water by the boat dock on the island and has a ! Above it when u tap it tells the quest it has 4 parts and allows you a week to complete
Just got a Push on my Iphone, a message in a bottle has washed up. A bottle appeared under the pier with a ! It's got 4 quests and a 5 day time limit
After update in Android phone, all my stuff on the lower screen in my village disappear. Is it a bug? The village does not turn dark, so cannot get from Scaredy. What can I do? Zoe

what is the totem?? where´s it???
I have a glitch on smurf's village! I don't know if any of you experienced it but 2 smurfs in the main village just run from left to right to left to right in like 2 seconds! Do you have any idea how to fix it? Also, I have a smurf that stands and place and flickers. it looks like he is stuck like glue! have any ideas?
We are experiencing exactly the same bugs on 2 seperate ipad 2s. The stuck/flickering smurfs were present before the1.1.8 island upgrade, the running after the upgrade. This only occurrs when the smurfs are idle. As soon as crops are planted, both bugs stop. Even though it does not affect game play, lets hope that it is fixed with the next upgrade. It has been reported to Beeline.
Jockey is asking me to collect a package . But it doesn't work. ( since 5 days) ; Every day I try again, I tap and tap and tap but nothing happens.
I didn't have the bottle too. I built the dam after the update , I read somewhere that if you have the dam you can't have the bottle. Is it true?

There are problems with jokey for some one it works and others have problems with him, You havent turn the clock ?. About the bottle I think that we have to be patient it seems like they arive in the future.
hi all! i have a problem with the new update: i bought the handsome sculpture and i put it near the footbridge and now i can't move it and i can't whitdraw 60xp. what can i do?
This is a bug that have happend before but with the turtle and that is a known bug and the only thing we can do is hopping that Beeline will fix this problem in the next update.
I'm on level 35 & my quest is to build a stone bridge for the village. I can't seem to place it, even by moving everything out of its way. Please help!
The stone bridge needs to be placed a little differently from the wooden bridge. It's hard to explain, but you need to go through trial and error and see which is the correct position to place.

Reboot device. Go to game main menu, options, manage friends, reconnect to facebook.
jokeys quest for me is to collect a package from him but when i press his question mark it just comes up with the quest and i cant collect the package please help
For some reason after the latest update on totem pole, my smurf island is lagging like crazy. Its been like that for a day despite restarting the app again and again, is this a bug? Pls fix asap!
I'm at level 31 and Papa Smurf asked for a squrriel log. I bought the one at 20,000 but it did not seem right. What is squrriel log?
My jokey, snails and caterpillars stopped giving me presents and xp. I updated, it's been longer than 24 hours and still nothing. And i don't do the time cheat so my timer is fine (although my crops do wither off cycle sometimes). Anyone else with this issue? if jokey won't give me a present, I can't complete his task.

Always nice another update! One thing isn't that nice though. I bought the first surf board listed in the catalogue (the white with red one, 800 coins), and they charged me, beside the 800 coins, also 4 smurfberries. That wasn't mentioned in the catalogue. I wouldn't have bought it, if I knew that it would also cost me some precious berries… ;-(

I've already posted this ccomment last Sunday. Does anyone have the same problem losing berries over the first surfboard (the white/red one, costing 800 coins, which also costed me 4 berries)? How can I get a refund on those berries?
Another strange thing just happened. A friend gave me a gift (blue/white mushroom; on the island). I wanted to place it next to the blue changing room, but apparently placed it over the changing room and now it's gone. It isn't behind the changing room (I've checked), but just disappeared. How can I get it back and what went wrong? Is it a bug or did I do something stupid?

Hello. Since yesterday I can't use my raft again they are transparent but all my smurf are there.
please can you help me and me freind have just did the updated at the same time and we did jockeys first and second quest but have different third quests he had give jockey a gift and i had send five smurfs to get a smurf back from gargmel is this usal
The quests are random for now. After the update, we spent some smurfberries to speed up quests because we wanted to see what's lying ahead but so far nothing special so we stopped. This explains why some people already got the bottle quests and most still haven't seen it.

My storage hut won't work on the island after the update !
I have a hut on island and it's working for me after the update. Only suggestion i have is reboot your device.
If that doesnt work then try one of previous saved level before the the update and see if it works. Go to game main menu, options, tap on papa smurf head 16 times until recover game button appears, tap recover game, select a saved level to play. If it works on a previous saved level then you need to decide if you want to play from the old level or go back to the current level.
Just a warning that you will lose some progress when selecting a previous saved level.
Since the latest release the game is super slow again. I have already switched on the sound in the options menu, rebooted my device (iPhone), but still no improvement. It's no fun playing like this. I'm not even able to tap Papa Smurf to receive a new quest. Anyone else having the same problem since this update?
Does anyone know how/when the bottle quests appear? Is it Papa Smurf who gives the quests? Do you have to finish the damm-quest first? Curious…

No, it isn't Papa Smurf. A message bottle will wash ashore weekly with a quest chain. I don't know if you have to build the dam first or not.

I dont think you have to build the dam first because one user reported she got the bottle right after the update. On the other hand, a bunch of us here got the dam right a way by spending smurfberries to speed it up and we so far we haven't seen any bottle.

You have to be at level 19 or higher and then it just happens.
The new update is good but not without bugs! My island will go into freeze frame like mode from time to time where is it slow & I cannot do anything on the island include get off. My only choice is to turn my iPhone completely off & start playing again.
Also I purchased the smurf statue on the island for 20,000 gold coins and when I went to place it I was prompted with confirmation to spend 12 Smurfberries. I said no & checked I had chosen the correct item (which I had), I chose it again this time I didn't get the Smurfberrie prompt but it charged my 20,000 gold coins & 12 Smurfberries! I have emailed Beeline but yet to hear back. Be careful all.

I had a similar issue. The marbles disappreared after the update. When i purchased new ones, the game did not just distract 1500 coins but also 75 smurfberries. Also waiting for beeline resonse (since Sunday)…
Me too! Similar situation but then on a surfboard. I payed 800 coins (which was stated in the catalogue), but also 4 smurfberries! No reaction from Beeline on my message (sent it last Sunday).

I just completed the message in the bottle quests and received a gift, looked like a wooden dog head…possibly the top of the totem pole..then I clicked the screen and it disappeared. Has anyone else experienced this??

This shows a dog, dolphin look a like, eagle & crocodile head on the totem.
This is all speculations and I've been doing that too. LOL . Nobody knows how the totem pole works.

I lost my dam when I placed a sea shell in the river bed and I tryed to buy a new one and it brainy told me to open it to a open space.
Since the update my flowers van not be harvest. They are reddy but Notting was mentioned.

This is just pure speculation on my part mind you, but… if I had to guess I would say that messages in bottles will wash ashore once a week (in real time) with quest/task chains that you could do for enjoyment. If say you decide to finish them within one week (again, in real time), you might be given a prize.
One could then theoretically collect all of these prize pieces and put them together revealing something that might resemble… oh say a Totem Pole for example.

Yes but you need to wait for him to give you a gift. You usually get a gift every 24 h tap on him a get a gift and then the question is completed.
but i tap him for gift and the bug is still there.. means i have to wait for another 24 hours? >.<
You can also get a present from Marco Smurfs (when having friends added and be level 16 or higher). This also counts as a gift.

Hi I have a problem I cannot open anymore my village. I updated my village today , the beeline page is opening and then immediately it's shutting down. Can someone help me. I tried to push the two buttons and still it's not working. Somebody has a nother idea.
Reboot your device and see if it helps

If all else fails, have you tried re-installing the app or restoring your game before the update? i.e. Did you back it up to Itunes before the update?

If you are launching the game from game center, you can try to reinstall the game.

this update is only available for Apple iOS users (Iphone.ipod, ipad), you can install it or updated either from your appsotore icon on your device or from your iTunes.
I got the ghost to place the dam but it will not fit in the shown place?
I had to turn it and all the dam is in the exact place but it tells me to put in a open place?

No i could see where it was supposed to go but still would not go there. I think it is à small bug. I fixed it by going to the main land than back to the island talk to papa smurf again and than it could be placed.

before the update, level 17, just got a farmer smurf. still waiting for the bridge to finish to the left, and 34 smurfs.
after the update i got the following
snail, worm, 45 smurfs and after upgrading the houses i got 51 houses, got a stone bridge, i got also a wooden bridge to the left, i got 2 stairs to the right. got 2 papa smurf house, 2 jokey, no scardey, got beach umbrella's, no farmer smurf(grr), and no quest done. papa smurf is asking to do the quest again.
what happened to my village.
I hate the new update on smurf village. I updated it yesterday and now I cannot access my village. When it gets to the loading orange beeline page, it shuts down. Can someone help me fix this. Haven't seen my village since last night.
Have you tried re-booting your device or re-downloading the app from the app store? Nothing still works?
Definetly the same problem (iPad 1, iOS 5.1), tried airplane mode, ON/OFF iPad, nothing help. At 80% at Beeline it crash to the iPad menu.
i got 2 papa smurf house and 2 jokey in village after the update and loss scardy and my farmer smurf is also gone. how do i correct it.

I was not able back it up in the first place I can’t restore to an earlier game.
Just continured the game I earned some but I lost the farmer smurf which I bought for 25 smurfberries. Do you think supprt@beeline will return me the 25 smurfberries if ask for help in getting back?
Dont know. We are not beeline so we can't speak for them.
I like all of the updates, so far no glitches for me. I do have a couple of suggestions….the sings that were just on sale; they should "swing" right now smurfs just sit on them but nothing happens. We also need new games, bakery, potions, and minning are getting a bit borring. Maybe now that we have a couple of beaches the smurfs could swim? just a thought. Thanks for all of the updates, I am having lots of fun!
Since the update, the graphics on my crops are all messed up. Half of the crop shows up in the dirt square and the other half shows up on the grass or on the adjacent dirt square. So annoying!

I've noticed that it's only on certain crops. For examples, watermelon and strawberries are fine but peas are all misaligned.

I paid 14 smurfberries for the dam on the island to unlock the land expansion. I was able to access the expansion, but then when I went back to the island I no longer could access the expansion. I had to buy a new dam, but am out 14 smurfberries. Any suggestions?
Hey, I have a question. When I first got Smurfs a year ago, my dad used his apple account because I didn't have one yet. Now I have my own, but he still needs to update it! And he's on a trip for the next week!

Message in a bottle: Once a week a bottle will appear with a quest chain. If completed within a week you'll get a prize according to the 'old white' info screen. I'll add the link with the screen later as photobucket doesn't work at the moment.
Also can't wait to have cash again as ther are much nice items added like the sand castle, flags and sand statue.

I feel your pain. I've been down a raft since the island was introduced. While acknowledging the bug, Beeline has yet to resolve. Extremely frustrating and annoying. Two updates and yet to be fixed.
Does rebooting your device help? Or simply re-installing the app? If all else truly fails, perhaps you can contact Beeline for assistance at support@beeline-i.com.
Ofcourse you may know. When starting Smurf Village it shows an info screen. The first version was plain white with the info about the update. I screened it and later the update screen got blue as posted below the main title.

The only thing I know about the totem is you could control the rain with it. This is shown on the Smurf Village App page from Apple, on the last screenshot Beeline provided (as each game has screenshots to promote their game/app). Try this for a test
1) Go to device setting and turn ON airplane mode
2) Star the game and see if it comes up
3) Go back to device setting and turn OFF airplane mode

This has happened to my wife's 3GS, then my iPhone 4 and just to make sure we weren't going mad loaded up smurfs on our new iPad HD 3 and after 24 hours exactly the same problem. Please is there anyone out there a solution? Like beeline come on board?

I got a bottle today – I used smurfberries to speed up my 4 tasks and was very disappointed when my prize for completing them was a few hundred coins, no totem piece
It looks like I got the first piece of a totem pole – looks like a dog head. When I clicked on it, it disappeared.

I also had this problem, I facing it twist after this update. At first, switch off my iPad2, switch air plane mode all useless. I tried to delete the app's and reinstall it (* Ensure your game had saved using game centre before) and it work. But it cannot be everytimes I facing this problem and then I have to do this?
