Many Smurfs village fans are encountering many bugs since the release of version 1.1.8, where there were expecting Message In A Bottle (MIAB) and a Totem pole, however unexpected problems and glitches raised to ruin the ambiance to the game. Few examples of these bugs, the bottle disappearance in the middle of the quest, the disappearance of the gift (Dogs head a part of the totem pole), and papa smurf’s quests which keep changing every time before completing them.
Message in a bottle bugs fixes are coming, according to Beeline representative Bethany Smith, that “…the development team has been working very hard on fixing the M.I.A.B. bugs that are complicating and ruining the experience for many of you.
Beeline would like everyone to know that they have isolated the bugs and that they will be fixed in the next version update. In addition, they will continue making changes to the M.I.A.B. system over time to make it a fun experience within the game for a long time to come.
A good example of this is that you can earn special items from the M.I.A.B. quests that you won’t be able to get anywhere else in the game like the extremely rare Pavilion!”
Did anyone else lose all their smurfberries … mine went from 20 to 0 overnight ….

I completed many quests from the bottle, but no totem pole parts ever received! The rafts also freeze at times. Please fix bugs.
I Play on Apple and with Game Centre. I want to be sure, there is a Update in the Game Center before the New Update release. How can i see if there is a Backup in the Game Center?
Why do I not get message in the bottle nor totem pole?
The bottle quests are currently heavily bugged. We have to wait till Beeline fixes it in the next update.
am I the only one that thinks MIAB quests take to much time to finish? they give us about 5 days for 4 quests that takes about 30 hours each. I feel like a must to spent smurfberrries on those quests to get the chain done in time. Also, anyone else experiencing a problema with the MIAB quest timers? for some reason the time on the quests wont go down 20 hours, when I check it back after days it says 30 hours remaining, and so… Help please
Yep, I sent my smurf out days ago, and everytime I got in it tells me I've got 34 hours, 27hrs, 30hrs, 26hrs, etc etc. I have stopped checking it for the last day or two as clearly the smurf isn't coming back!!
Have you tried to cancel the rafts?
I really upset with it because i would have had two done by now, but every time ive checked, the quest time increases and the actual MIAB time continues to count down. It's impossible for me to finish these quests
At what level do you get the message in a bottle? I'm already at level 27 and haven't received one yet…

I am passing on a bug encountered – am on level 29 with island and bought 2 extra rafts so have three. Suddenly the lowest raft does not react anymore when clicking upon it. Als no bottles appeared here sofar at all. Hopefully the non functional rafts (remember another post about that can be fixed.
I've lost my first raft. I purchased another raft in hopes to get my first one but it never came back.
Yesterday noon I took the newest update released on android, I was on level 27 and I had all the special smurfs on my village (two 30% more space, Smurfette, Farmer smurf, Hefty smurf, Tailor smurf,Nat smurf, Baby smurf, the storage, lazy smurf, crop pack,the wagon, also the island more space and sassette, and also I had 85 smurfberries and I lost all my progress (61 smurfs on main village and 26 on the island), I try to get them back doing the recover tool and also the back up was lost…..I'm really dissapointed because I lost all my village and my money (now I'm on level 5 just with 6 smurfberries)….Can someone please help me to get all my village back???

I LOST MY VILLAGE!, yesterday I took the update and I was on level 27 with 85 smurfberries, and all the special smurfs and the two 30% more space on main village and one 30% more space on the island, I tried to get back my village doing the recover tool but also all my progress was lost……what can I do to recover my village?…..PLEASE HELP!!!!!
the progress lost is expected. The game creates 1 "checkpoint" a day
I also lost my village, it is lack of seriousness of the Beeline
I updated my Smurf Village on March 23. I had the issue with being able to zoom in on my island before the download and I no longer have that issue. I have not received a message in a bottle yet and I am not sure why. I have not lost smurfs. I did lose a pink seashell but other than that I have not had any issues. I really want the message in the bottle so that I can start on the totem pose. A girl I work with is almost done with her 2nd bottle (once her eggplants are ready) and i have not even seen the first bottle. Any idea how long until the next update. I am thinking it has to be soon since it is an Easter update and Easter is in less than a week. Any idea how much longer?
First my totem’s dog head was dissappearred, then my botlle time gave error, it does not count down, still have 45 hours since two days although i have seen 36 this morning… How can i fix them?
You can't, not until Beeline fixes it in the next update.
When is the next update due to fix this bug and others?

Does any body can help me please?….I yesterday download the new update to my cell phone (android) and I LOST MY VILLAGE!!!!!!….I even try to recover it with the trick of touch 16 times to papasmurf but that information was also lost…..I was in 22% of Level 27 with 85 smurfberries, I lost all my special smurfs (I bought all of them except paint and vanity smurf)….I'm very dissapointed about this because I lost 6 months and my money whith this…..
My MIAB quest is asking me to send out a raft for 24 hours but all my rafts have been disabled for the last two weeks so I can't do it! When is the update with the bug fixes coming?? Also are Beeline issuing an Easter update this year? Or are they too busy fixing bugs….
Beeline is awear of the problems and are working hard to fix them it seems like we are going to get an update that will fix all the issues but we dont know the exact date yet.
The MIAB timer is not functioning. It was at 33 hours, earlier today, and is now at 36 hours. It also switches crops during the growing time, so I take out perfectly good ones because the request changes.
The are a lots of bugs with the MIAB questions and the only thing we can do is to wait for Beeline to fix the issues.
I never do this, but in the IPad, I use the time cheat for the miab. It actually works but I don't advise it. I wish they would fix the bugs now. When I send out a smurf, it goes from 35 hours to 65 hours. The quest changes. Also, On the iPhone, it doesn't work for me, the time cheat. At least I get one part of the totem pole, on the IPad. I don't think it is worth it to use smurfbarry's. Please fix the bugs!!!!!
i got 2 bottles so far. the first reward was a green bench and the second was the dog head for the totem pole. but the dog head dissapeared. am i supposed to get more bottles?

u have to actually send a smurf out on a raft. Have you done so?

Yes, this is a big issue that is happening to all android users. Until Beeline fixes it, there is nothing much anyone can do.
I also have just downloaded the update on the android, however, i can now buy more greedy, miner etc and houses without levelling up!!! YAY!!! however, i don't know why?????

My MIB froze on the first quest this time…. Not going to waste berries again
And the MIAB quirks continue but one is rather serious. If you elect to pay to have smurfs return sooner, please check your smurfberry amount carefully before doing so. I payed one berry and was charged 10!!! I also lost two smurfs and have the clock from hell that many of you are experiencing. Wound up restoring my game to the point where the MIAB showed up and I'm staying away from that like blue creatures from a character named Gargamel. Now have all my smurfs and berries back. Im level 20 and just unlocked the island and I cant get to it I click on the ship and papa runs to the boat but the game shuts down and opens its self back up HELP!!
try to reboot your device it should help you out.

latest android update causes the game to crash when going to island. No workaround at this time.
A new really disappointing bug, every time I go to my island SS Smurf II is stopped by MIAB and I’m told “Pies are tasty” and the app freezes. So now my now my whole island is off limits. Sigh….
Hi, I completed the bottle quest and was rewarded with the dog head for the totem pole and when I tapped it to place it it disappeared.Very annoying.
Hi, this is a bug that Beeline has said that they will fix in a future update. Until then, there is nothing much we can do.
I opened my second MIAB and suddenly I can’t get to anything on the left side of my island any more
my land expansion is off limits to me so I can’t harvest my crops, or get any XP from my papa smurf sand sculpture. Is this bug going to addressed?
hi i updated this morning nothing but trouble since. i lost both my whole village and island. I was able to recover my village so repeating level 37 for the 3rd time but i have lost my village everytime i set off the phone crashes have turned it off and on again but no island. i had 67 smurfs and 5 rafts of which two were missing. does anyone have any ideas?
If you are playing on an android you are not alone that the game crashes when you try to visit your island one of us admins have the same problem to, and we can only hope that Beeline will fix this problem in the next update untill that, its nothing you can do. sorry …
my message in a bottle quest time does not countdown.. There are 6 smurfs in the forest they should be back in 37 hours 28 mins…. Same time it said 12 hours ago

My game just rest from lvl 34 to 1. I had just finished a normal Papa quest. Next thing I know, I'm level one with no smurf berries. Had to restore the older game, but lost berries.
Anyone else know about the game resetting you to level 1?
I couldnt finish the MIAB because the request keeps on changing or restarting. What about the dam bug? After building the dam, it dissapeared with the rest of the extended island and everything that was moved there. This game is starting to be NOT fun anymore

every day as they are ready the crops displayed by gargamel and says he is looking for smurfs.After this, papasmurf appears and says to plant crops .Suddenly all disappear from the screen, houses gardens bridges, everything!!!!THESE HAPPEN EVERY DAY !!!!!and i recover my village again and again and again……EVERY DAY!!!!

My rafts come back and I get the alert ‘ Go and see what treasure has been found’. When I check there is nothing! This has happened half a doz times

I also have a raft missing, but now the MIAB- scardy smurf to feel safe challenge is going backward, midday it had 30hrs 15 min until the challenge to Finnish, now at 9.20pm I hav 34hrs until challenge finished, what's going on??
There are a lots of bugs in the island update. Like the missing rafts and the clock that either go to fast or to slow. The only thing we know is that Beeline are working to solve al the issues.
I'm at level 33 and received a message in the bottle to harvest 89 cantaloupes. Is that normal for a quest to be so much or is that a bug. Cantaloupes take 8 hours to harvest and I only have 14 spaces.
Just received another bottle and of course it keeps changing Everytime I go to the game, why not wait til the bugs are fixed to send out the bottle cause it’s very frustrating???

There is a bug about some people haven't received the bottle. Beeline will release a fix for this soon including other bottle bugs. 1st bottle is about over. Wait for the next bottle.

Same here, it use to crash on the way to thethe island. If you'd restart the game you would be on the island, now after new update it just crashes and goes back to the main village! Fustrating after having an established island for weeks, spending smurf berries and now I can not access it!

Actually, it's there already. It's one of the extremely rare gifts you can obtain by completing the MIAB tasks.

I completed the second MIAB task…- I got the dog’s head n when I click it, it’s gone. It’s one of the totem pole right? So since I have completed the task I may never get the totem pole..?

Just fix the friends issue once and for all. Sick to death of fiddling with it to get friends to appear. Haven’t seen GC or Facebook friends for months. Just “searching for friends”. Beeline support by post and emails have been useless. Fix this thing or I’m trashing the app, a year or more of playing out the window. I don’t care. I don’t even want to open it anymore. Frustrated frustrated frustrated!!!!!! Bug after bug after bug!!!! There is not another game out there that I have had this many issues with!

We have a village on android but it crashes when going to the island. This is a new bug in latest latest.
Dont see anything about latest android update has message in the bottle. Latest update info saying more land (which means you can build a dam) and more quests.
Android is still behind apple 1 update which has the message bottle. That means next android update will have message in bottle.
I don't really know where to post this but I don't think I have all the profile icons you can have…is there a snap shot of how many there are and what they look like?

I've posted this before and it's worth posting again. Beeline needs to concentrate on making sure new releases/features are as bug free as possible rather than rushing them. Like many others I am missing a raft and after two updates it has yet to be addressed. Numerous emails inquiring as to the status continue to go unanswered. The island has become such a nightmare for some friends they have put everything in storage and refuse to purchase any more items or participate in events for fear of losing something. Honestly I've never seen a game app as bug riddled as this one.
Like Brainy ones said: we are not players of this game we are testers. It have been like this from the begining and we that have played this game for a long time are used to strange bugs and glitches.
Then I want compensation for doing THEIR job. Just smurfy!!!

What happens if MIAB quest asks me to send out rafts!! I really want totem pole and this pavilion.
I also have lost 3 rafts and as this was a paid for upgrade "smurfberries" I hope they will fix this problem also
I am really lucky I think, because I didn't have so much trubble. I missed a Raft only to times. And i got them back after about one or two more days. And the bottle quest only changed one time. Everything Else was still Fine….

Yet above Smurfvillagefan says he did on iPad and I've seen pics of just one piece. I've stopped doing MIAB until Beeline gets their act together.
That's the best decision for now until Beeline fixes this bug in the next update.
Julie, Smurfvillagefan either is lying or was unclear. No one, and I repeat no one can place the first piece of the totem pole in their village (The bear head). This is itself a glitch, one that will be fixed in a future update. You can continue doing the MIAB quests and earn other gifts besides the Totem Pole piece.
I already try with that option (tapping on papasmurf 16 times) and all the back up was lost also, about the Game Center option, like I said I'm using an android device…So I didn't have access to the game center….. I already sent an email to beeline about this but it really bothers me that I lost around $50 usd in smurfberries, between all the stuf that I bought and the available smurfberries (85)….I'm really really dissapointed about this…
Hello Brainy thanks for answer me that fast!…and no I don't. The procedure that I followed (April 1st 2012) was:
1) download the upddate on my village (level 27, with all the stuff that I already told you)
2) I went to my village and everything was lost (I was again on level 1)
3) I went to the options and tap papasmurf 16 times
4) the only back up available on the app was for April 1st 2012
thanks for your help on this, and If I post a lot of comments it's because I really love this game, but it really bothers me lost all my village and money because somebody is not doing their job (with the updating)
Not sure why you dont have a list of saved "checkpoint" when you tap on papa smurf head. The game saves 1 checkpoint per day and keeps about 10 days of checkpoints that you can go back anytime.
You said you have email beeline. It takes them a long time to get back to you. They may credit sb back to your account but I dont think they can do anything to your game level. I am afraid you might have to start from level 1 which is a shame because it takes a long time to get to level 27.
I forgot to ask . Are you on android or apple ? If apple then do you use game center ?
I don't know brainy…..and I know about the "save checkpoint". In fact a couple of days after that I tried to go to the island, and the game was turned off, then I went back to the village and half of my village disappeared, then I use the "recover tool", and my village came back, I lost one day but my village came back…and in this time, when I tried to do the same I just don't have any backup to recover!….
and about "credit the sb" that's exactly what I'm looking for, in fact here I have my bank statement with the information.
The checkpoint I was talking about is the Save Village list.
Btw beeline just need your receipt number . You should find that number in the email apple sent you.

I'm using an android device… my cell phone is an LG
android that's why I can't go the game center
oh ok. The advantage apple has over android is game center . Game center saves latest village level to game center server and you can move the village to new device too.
For android, my Asus tablet has an app that backup both game and data so I use it sometimes to backup my village. Each device manufacture has their own app to do backup/restore. Another problem with android is I dont know if there is a way to move the village to a new device.
I have 2 other villages on iphone and I can move the villages when I get an ipad in a few weeks.
YES!!!!!….I lost 85 smurfberries! and also all the special smurfs (another 300 o more smurfsberries) and the worst thing was that I can't get them back (like Brainy said) because all my backup was also lost!….BUUUUUUUUU :' o (

Now not only am I not receiving the bottle quest, but yesterday the bottle disappeared altogether along with over 100,000 coins. Has anyone else had this problem?
What do you do if you do no have 30 flower pots and do not want to change the land to flower pots??
Is there any way to make it go away? I have tried all 3 tulips to no avail.
