According to Beeline’s development team, Smurfs’ Village will not be one of those games that simply fade off into the abyss of outdated apps. They’ve been working on addressing a few notorious bugs and plan on adding some exciting new content to keep gamers challenged within the coming months.
Although a major overhaul of the game is expected sometime in the spring, players can expect a seasonal Valentine’s Day update very soon. So, prepare to unleash your inner hopeless romantic because February 14th is right around the corner. Judging by the released icon of Smurffette holding cupid’s arrow romance will definitely be the center of attention in the new update. Love-inspired items, gifts, and special quests will be available along with a few corrections from the previous 1.1.5 version of the game. Watering neighbors’ flowers may become quicker and easier as well as a possible level cap increase.
Beeline Interactive Inc. has been listening to user’s feedback and plan to integrate a variety of cool features to Smurfs’ Village while fixing some of the common glitches that players often encounter. They’re considering implementing the same format used in Snoopy’s Street Fair which allows users to add friends directly without navigating through Facebook or Game Center. This small but important change will make managing neighbors more convenient. For players that find it difficult to connect with others on Game Center or just dislike using multiple applications when playing a game will appreciate this option.
Players may also notice that their scenery will significantly expand. Not only are more expansions expected to become available but the view of your friends’ villages will reach beyond the fallen logs. For those users who like to explore or be noisy this is a dream come true. In the last update snow was introduced as an effect. Users will begin to see other weather patterns such as rain appearing in their village. Path visibility while in the move mode is being addressed as well in the upcoming release.
The gifting system is promised to be improved by a host of new higher value XP items. Currently the blue mushroom containing 300XP and the potted flower with a whopping 400 XP are the highest valued gifts that users can pass on to their friends. More levels, challenging quests, and new beloved Smurf characters will emerge in 2012.
i really think it would be great if you can sell things when you don't want them, for half of their original price or something like that, it would be really good for a update, and i also suggest for an update we should be able to delete mushroom houses. pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

Yes it's the highest level now. It's possible that they may add more levels in the next update. The xp you get now will be added when they will release some new levels.

I have a question…I have an android htc thunderbolt that I have been playing on and on the 16th the IPad 3 is coming out and I was going to buy an IPad is there anyway to transfer it because I'm on level 23 and really don't want to start all over.
Yeah, of course! When you get you new iPad go into the game center and log in on your old iPads apple ID. Now go to the app store ad download smurfs village, after it has finished downloading click play, now it will say would you like to start from lvl 1 or go onto your previous smurfs account, click the previous smurfs account and you can start playing without a worry!

I have a question about Painter Smurf. I know there is a bug that makes my colors look splotchy. When will that be fixed? I am exited to discover new colors, and I currently can’t because I always get poor.

I've updated to Valentines on my Android but still got snow! When's this being removed? I've also still got my seasonal items, Christmas tree etc
The snow and the christmas items will be removed with the next update, it is expected in March.
How come we can’t buy some smurfberries with the coins
Because this is a "freemium" game, which means you can play for free but have to pay money for special items and features. That is how the developers earn their living. If you could exchange coins for berries nearly no one would buy them anymore with real money
Still cannot buy painter or vanity on android. Any idea why?
No, the Beeline Android team has not yet had the time to implement him in the Android version, I guess. But there is no official statement regarding this.
I've just upgraded my iOS4 to iOS5, n now tried to update my smurfs' village but failed, it said that smurfs' village cannot be updated at this moment, advise please? I'm at level 29 and i don't wish to loss it!
Does it say anything else or just that it can not be updated at the moment? Have you restarted your device? Also, if you use the App store on your device to update, please try downloading and syncing the game via iTunes. If you use itunes, try the app store method.
im at level 22 right now, if the valentine version is out, shud I update straight away or compelte the xmas version first? tq
You can just update, you will still have to complete the Christmas quests etc.

What you are buying are the lamp posts. The lanterns are three party lanterns on a laundry line with a kind of candy cane at the side. You can find it for 1500 Coins in the first shop.

Try turning on the sound from the options menu of the game, it has been reported that that helps the game to run smoother. (you can still mute your device if the sound annoys you).
I have this game on iPhone and iPad.they are of different levels.Can I visit the village on my iPad from my iPhone?
You have to create two Game Center Accounts, one for iPhone and one for iPad, then add yourself as a friend, then you can visit yourself

The next one is the Valentine's Update. Beeline has already released some pictures, so we expect it every day now (at least on iOS, there is no word yet regarding Android). It will be released before valentine's day, that we know for sure (unless something goes wrong of course, that can never be planned).
I've updated the game which was over 100mb and there are no changed to be seen at the game on my Ipod. Any clue what could happened?
As the update description says, it is just a performance update with nearly no changes. You can read about it here: http://www.mysmurfsvillage.com/smurfs-village-int… It is normal that the update is so bug as apple does not allow it to only download the changes, but you have to download the whole app with everyupdate, hence the 100 mb
Few questions here Smurfette, as me and my friend are wondering when this update will be live, we have heard 'very soon' for too long now, so how soon as we are desperate for it! Also how will the village be significantly expanded? And finally will there be any new houses with mini games or characters? Thanks
Beeline has not announced anything about the coming update except the pictures that we posted. There is no official date nor any information about the content. As the Christmas Update just had an village expansion, I would not expect another one in the coming update. The Update is Valentine's Day themed so it will definetly arrive before Valentine's Day, though once again, it is not clear if it will be iOS only or both Android and iOS.
What is your guess at the 'significant land expansion'?
There have been rumours about an island (in the water by the beach). I think that would be a cool idea. But I can't really guess. I just think (and hope) that it will be more than just the 25% to the bottom expansion you can buy with Smurfberries.
That sounds smurfy! An island would be smurftastic! And maybe a new mushroom house for a special sailor type smurf that goes in the water, I'm super smurfcited!
At lvl 25/26 Dreamy Smurf comes to play and then the island is revealed… just take it from there.. have yourself a smurfy time
Dreamy comes at level 19 if you have done all of the previous storyline tasks from Papa Smurf

Beeline usually adds new levels with new updates. It has been confirmed that the Valentines Update will have at least one new level.
The Valentines update has neither been released for Android nor iOS yet but it is expected to come soon. However, you missing all those Smurfs has nothing to do with the update. The Grouchy issue is supposed to be fixed, but if you miss all of the other Smurf’s your village got somehow corrupted and you will not get them back with an update. Android has now all of the feature that the iOS version has except Vanity and Painter Smurf. I suppose they will come soon as well, though Beeline has not announced anything regarding that.
How much longer for the update for Androids? I've been missing Grouchy, Papa Smurf, Brainy, Jokey, Clumsy, and Scaredy ever since January 8, 2012! I understand wanting to complete the full upgrade for Valentine's Day theme and all but AT LEAST send out a pre-upgrade so the Smurfs Village fans can continue to advance to higher levels sooner rather than later in the meantime because it is much harder to advance to higher levels without special quests from Papa Smurf, and not being about to add Alchemist Smurf to our Village and we are still waiting for Vanity Smurf and Painter Smurf which I hope in the Valentine's Day theme upgrade they will have added them by now because I have close to 200K coins and have already covered most of my Village with stuff without it looking too cluttered and I've upgraded all of my Smurf houses to their max! This game is starting to get boring and I just hope that the new update comes out sooner rather than later BEFORE I get bored and find a new game to Smurf into! =(

As in the Snow has been removed in Beeline's other games and the next update is supposed to be Valentine's Day themed I supposed it will be removed.
But what I really REALLY want is to be able to play it on my Facebook page just like people play Farmville! I'd like it on my Kindle Fire too. My problem with the ap is that my iTouch screen is so small and I'd really like to see it on a bigger screen.
This is not hapoening, at it was specifically build as a mobile game. The only way to get it on a bigger screen is to play it on an iPad or a compatible Android tablet.
why is the version of Smurf cater differently for iOS and Android? It's disappointing that i have to restart the game because of changing platform. And furthermore i can't send gift to friends because of different version.
