Smurfs Village new update (1.1.9) a stable version for Apple iOS

After few weeks of frustration with a message in a bottle quests and totem pole issues, Beeline has finally released a stable update this week for Apple iOs users. This update (version 1.1.9), which was released just few days after Easter 2012, doesn’t have an Easter theme or has anything to do with Easter. It seems like Beeline this time focused on fixing all previous glitches and bugs, which made version 1.1.8 the buggiest version which Apple iOS users witnessed since the release of Smurfs village App. However not all the bugs were bad, Beeline Easter gift was also buggy, which was the Best Beeline Bug ever, where players got up to 100s of free smurfberries.
The good news is this time this version is stable so far, although it has some bugs, but not major ones, and basically don’t affect the flow of the quests.
Many features were added in this upate also, mainly in the main village more land was added south for 25 smurfberries. However for the island, two new special smurfs were added, Harmoney Smurf and Snappy smurfling. Harmony Smurf, which has a minigame, costs 30 smurfberries. The mini game gives players additional music to play on the island as a reward. Snappy Smurfling costs 3000 coins, and you can get him when Papa Smurf asks you to build his hut.
Many decoration items also were added like music instruments to increase XP when you play Harmony minigame, and big mushrooms. New items like the jumping fish were added, which can be placed in the waters, giving XP every few hours. Players can also buy toy drums and trains to place next to the Smurfling huts(Sassette, Slouchy and Snappy), to give additional xp when it is time to collect Snappy’s xp every 24 hours. Also, when Sassette, Slouchy and Snappy’s hut are placed together, they do a mini dance every 24 hours. The disappearance of the dam problem when you place items next to it was fixed and the message in a bottle quests are running properly. Players who used smurfberries to speed up the events, were able to get their totem pole upon completion of the quests.
With regards to friends servers, many players reported that finally they manage to see their neighbors and friends villages, and they are able to gift and receive gifts now.
According to Beeline official description the new update has:
- Harmony Smurf , hut and mini game now available on the island. Harmony’s Music Match-Up mini game contains 10 songs that you can unlock as background tracks for the island.
- New Snappy Smurfling character, hut and quests for the island. If you place Snappy next to Sassette and Slouchy the 3 smurflings perform a daily dance
- Lots of Smurfy new decorations for the island
- The level cap increased to 46
- A new jumping fish for the island that you can place in water
- A new paid space expansion for the original village
Seem to have a bug with the latest update. A few times now, when I return to the main village from my island, whatever crops have been growing suddenly wither before their time. Have lost 48 crops of magical raspberries a few times now. That’s a lot of gold and XP lost
. Noticed in other comments that some other people have had the same problem.
have same problems. lost over 80 magical rasperries on main land and over 30 on island. i decided to use the smurfberries to restore them, but in meantime i lost 5 berries through this. as well all my 20 plants and 6 trees are always withered when i return…. since the update i never receive any message in a bottle also. sometimes my i-phone hungs up when i leave the game… this update made it worst in my opinion
will there be any update for this? i dont want to spend all my berries only for bugs like this.
Are you on Android platform? The problems you listed sound similiar to other Android players…and if so, you will have to wait till the next update for it to be fixed.

I am in version 1.1.9, There is a papa quest on the Island that tells you to send out a raft for 16 hours to see what the Mer King likes. I send a raft three times and it did't work. I tried with others rafts and ir worked with the 5 minute ride.
The first day when building Snappy's Hut, i saw the dance of the three of them, but after 24 hours and more, its not working anymore. Is this happening to someone else? I have placed them together!
I doubt the existence of any stable update from Beeline. How could it be that kind if totem pole quests still have glitches, my rafts are still absent and smurfs can suddenly disappear and surprisingly get back again when least expected. I want my rafts back!!! I don't want to update the raft hut by paying more smurberries!!!!

I have planted and harvested 40 flowers for Smurfette and it is not acknowledging this quest. I am ready to rip out all flower boxes and replace them with farmland! Also I was of course NOT one of the lucky people who got the special Easter gift, and I have complete FIVE bottle quests (level 31, version 1.19 now) and STILL no totems! I am REALLY getting tired of being rooked here!
Firstly, I'm truly sorry to hear you are experiencing all these glitches. For Smurfette's quests, try PLANTING only 20 roses, no need to harvest. It worked for me. You can also refer to the guide here. https://getsatisfaction.com/beeline_games/topics/…
As for the totem pole, what rewards did u get if you did not get any totem pieces upon completion? Beeline has said they have adjusted the odds for players to get the totem pieces, so it's either you were really unlucky, or there seems to be still some glitches here.
I completed the quest by planting only 4 out of 20 flower boxes. But the next quest is 10 corn, 10 tomatoes, 10 artichokes. I harvested 3 times and smurfette did not recognize it

I'm in the same boat. I have planted 10 of each crop at least 3 times with no success. I have checked and it asks for corn, not golden corn, and I like georgeNfred don't have the golden corn and don't particularly want to use my smurfberries to be able to get it!!

May I know what device are you using to play the game? And if it is IOS, what version? By right, planting either regular corn or golden corn should do the trick…as the main thing is to harvest all 3 crops at the same time…but if all else doesn't work, I'm told you may have to wait for Beeline's next bug update to fix it.

I have done the new update on my iPhone but I can’t buy harmony smurf. I’m level 13 is there a certain level I need to be to buy him.
Harmony Smurf is only available on the Island, and to access the Island, you must be at least level 19.

My dam disappeared yesterday. I accidentally moved a hut to close to it and it was gone. I had to do a village restore to correct it.
Well I am glad to know I am not the only one with major problems after the update. My four rafts are still gone and I have NOT received another bottle like I should have on friday. I guess my two totem pole pieces are gone forever because I received two and they both disappeared before the update. My marbles still disappear when you try to move them and before they made other items disappear that were next to them. Missions are completing before they are supposed to and smurfette will not recognize my twenty flowers. I hope they are working on a solution immediately! I am very disappointed as I have spent a lot of money on this game and this is very frustrating.

Jessica, the totem pieces bugs were fixed in the latest update. You just have to re-do the missions again. As for Smurfette's missions, there is no bug there. There is just an error in the message given by her. You just have to PLANT any type of flowers 20 times and the quest will be solved. I have completed it myself. As for your raft issue, have you tried tapping on them to bring up the menu? You should be able to cancel them.
This is not true, It did not work with orange lilies, but did work with blue daises.
Apperently it doesn't work with some flowers, blue daiseys also worked for me.

The white color has disapeard after last update.all The ítems painted in white color have comeback to its original color….someone with this problem??

The paid expansion is found in your smurfberry tab, available for 25 smurfberries. The MIAB is available on the island, And what do you mean by added island disappear?
I think he means the more space on the island to the west.

It depends on the difficulty of the song, the easier it is the shorter you have to wait.

Agter the new update, Marco Smurf has disappeared from my village. He's not in any of my friends' villages either. Has anyone else experienced this?
I have heard it has happened to some players as well. Could be another bug. We are waiting to hear from Beeline about this.
I still have problems on the island. The time does not work correctly. Things does wither although the they should not even be ready…
The bottle quest still does not work. I already sent 3 rafts for 24 for hours (I should send 1), they all came back, but it still says, that it's not yet done…

I had problem with crashing the game when the orange Beeline appeared since the last update (v1.1.8). I have tried to reboot the iphone 4, turn to airplane mode, turn on/off wifi and it didn't solve the problem. I was hoping the new update can solve the problem but the result is disappointing. It is getting worse. In v1.1.8 I might be able to play the game after opening the apps for 30 to 40 times and once I am able to log in I can travel to and from the island with no problem. Only the mini game cannot be played. After the latest update, once I am lucky enough to open the game after trying it for 40+ times i got kicked out again when I land on the island. What else I can do to solve the problem? Wait for another update?
This sounds like a serious issue. You might want to report this to Beeline, and see if they can help. Alternatively, you might want to try and re-install the app again as your app might be corrupted. But before you do that, make sure you already have a good saved copy, or you have a saved copy via game center.
Actually I had reported to Beeline when having trouble with v1.1.8 and they said they would ask developer to take a look at it. Then now the problem is getting worse. I have emailed to them again and awaiting their reply.
For re-installing app, does it mean I sync the app to iTunes, and then remove from the iphone and awhile later transfer it back from itunes to iphone? Or I delete the app from iphone and then download it again? And how can I know if I have a good saved copy, or a saved copy via game center? Sorry for asking it in detail as I am in Level 35 already and I don't want to start it all over again. Thanks!
Hi….re-installing the app means to delete the app from phone and download it again. As for good saved copy, what I meant was for you to retrieve your last good saved copy, i.e. your backed up copy from your itunes. When was the last time your game was working correctly? If you have game center, that would be good too, but then, game center merely saves the latest status of your game, not really bothering whether your current status is good.
I am at level 24 and I have 50 smurfs on the main land and I can't buy any houses is there a limit for the amount of surfs

For missing smurfs, you may want to report it to Beeline as it may be a bug which they are still trying to resolve.
I've had the same problem a number of times. Try exiting the game completely (first to the main "blue" screen, then to the phone screen) – when you get back in, you should have all your smurfs. That always works for me.
Noticed the paint color too as well as Smurfette's mission. Do you have to empty the flower bed and replant and harvest, or just keep watering/harvesting them? I also really wish they would increase the limit on the shed or let you place an extra shed in your village. For OCD folks like me, land expansion means reconfiguring everything and there's not enough room.
Yes, the trick is simply to PLANT any flower, not HARVEST it. All you need is one flower box, simply plant any flower, delete it and then plant again for 20 times.
As stated in e update note, once Snappy hut is placed side by side w Sassette & Slouchy huts, immediately the daily bonus can b collected (confirmed by poet & dreamy). But mine doesnt appear no matter how i placed them… Anyone hv the same issue? Help pls… i so wanna see them dancin…
Yeah i have the same. Do not get to see them dance yet. almost 24 hours since i bought Sassette for 30 smurfberries. Maybe it has something to do with Slouchy being there first and his quest is not finished?

I placed my 3 huts together as shown on the my smurfs village FB page, but it's been sevaeral hours and i don't see an icon above snappy's hut and they didn't do the dance. It is really supposed to be 'immediate' or do i have to wait 24 hours? I want to see them dance

Hello) so, I won the part of totem (dog head) few weeks ago and it disappeared( I paid SB to speed events. And as I understand, beeline will not back this head??(( and I should get this quest again in version 1.1.9 and win this part again? So, my first head and SB for it is missing forever??((
Yes, unfortunately so. Anything totem piece you won before the update is considered void.
My mission impossible MIB, to grow 22 magic honeydew always ends, after spending all My coins, with the whole crop withering, true anoying.

The MIAB worked for me and got my first piece of the totem pole which once placed could be finished with 300 sb. Great to control the music with the effects on.
hi guys i got the update for android this morning. when i opened the game it asked me to look at another beeline game when i did this SV updated. I can now get to my island and see my island smurfs again. I am also starting to build my dam. However my game still crashes traveling to and from the island and it also sometimes crashes my phone but at least i have my island smurfs back again. does anyone else think the same as me that maybe android updates always held back not because of beeline but because it is an os stipulation of getting a license?

The re-installing is right, it's an option. I don't know why your crop suddenly withered, haven't heard of this problem in the new update.

Are you connected to Game Center? If so you can re-install the app without losing progress.

Just downloaded the new update, and I can't even open the game now! I've tried shutting the iPad off, and tried probably 50 times to open the game and it just keeps crashing!! Frustrating!

I'm playing on ipad2. Same problem, game didn't open after orange Beeline. I waited for the new version but that didn't do the trick. So finally I uninstalled the apps and reinstalled it again. It now works but I believe you can do it ONLY IF you have your game with gamecenter. Otherwise you go back to Level 1. However, since I reinstalled the apps, it crashed again. So I just keep uninstalling and reinstalling. I'm at level 23.
You should only re-install when SV is connected to Game Center, otherwise you will lose all progres.

In the new update it is posiible to buy Snoppy hut. It is said that if you place a Snoppy hut next to Sassette and Slouchy you can earn xp once a day. So this is imposibble for most of players, because you have to spend SB to have the trio.
Snappy's house is available in the house category in the build section for 2500 coins, no smurfberries needed. :/
You need SB to buy sassette is what Anna means, I'm sure.
Since i updated the app yesterday it crashes before starting the game (orange beeline screen).

I've tried to complete Smurfette's quest of harvesting 20 boxes of flowers twice now to no avail. Other than that, great update! Enjoying all the mini quests from the other special smurfs.
It's not harvest flowers, the quest completes when you plant 20 flowers, however not every sort works. Blue daiseys worked for me.
I have to disagree with the comment that this release is smooth for Apple users. I'm on an iPad and my bottle is floating in the ocean, completely inaccessible and useless. I'm also STILL missing a raft and Smurfette is stuck on not giving reward for planting 20 flower boxes. I give this release a C-
They only fixed the MIAB (sorry to hear it didn't work for you). They're still working on missing rafts.

What you can do is wait for the hammer (the box that blocked your bottle) to disappears, then tap on the bottle.
No, the bottle is literally in the middle of the ocean — only visible when sailing by — and despite dozens of attempts to tap on it, nothing happens. The boat moves too quickly. Any other ideas?
This shouldn't happen. Yours could be another bug that Beeline has to fix.
Right after the update, I got a MIAB quest to send out 5 smurfs. They never came back after two days and the bottle disappeared for a while, then showed back up again with brand new quests but did not return smurfs. My rafts are also missing still. I have reported to Beeline. I am using ipad2. Island still has problems.

you will get couple of quests in the island to find him then you will asked to buy his hut from the shop. Or you buy his hut from the shop in the island

First let me say I LOVE smurf village!!!
However after the latest uptade, I have come across a problem….smurfette gives me the quest to add a frog to the village. The frog is available from level 32 and I’m only at level 29!! It will take a while before I will be able to complete the task?? Any ideas??
I am told there is a glitch with this quest and some can actually purchase the frog even though they are not at level 32 yet.

None that I know of at the moment.
The only limit I know at the moment is the range, as long as the guitar is green when you tab on Harmony it gives the bonus.
The one bug I had from the last version is that the M.I.A.B. never appeared once. (Which from the horror stories might have been a good thing.) It has yet to appear since I updated the game. Did the M.I.A.B. bugs get fixed, or just a matter of waiting a few days? Thanks folks!
Normally Beeline fixed them, however some players got some issues.

Harmony smurf is supposed to give you songs to play in the background, but since I've placed his house and unlocked won of his songs NO music is playing in the background despite adding the reggae song I unlocked. Not even the default music plays.

Also, now that there are three smurflings on the island, whats gonna happen to Nat? He's the only smurfling not in the Island. They should change nat's hut to Wild Smurf's hut or something and move nat to the island or something. Waaah!

The background music from Harmony doesn't play always, you need to wait before it plays. The default music stops because it could be raining.
We don't know what's going to happen with Nat, probably he stays on the mainland as there aren't any flower boxes on the island, we are not Beeline.

It is still very frustrating to me since my rafts are still missing even in this latest update. How do I communicate that to Beeline to insure they are working on this issue? From reading this forum, I am not the only person experiencing this problem. I'm not able to continue with the Papa Smurf quests on the island or the MIAB since they both involve sending out rafts….very disappointing to say the least.
You can send them a message from within the game but youll get their standard cryptic reply that they are aware of it (going on 2+ months) and will address it soon. Beeline must really enjoy the hundreds of emails they receive daily with valid complaints about this game. Just smurfy!!
Beeline works really hard to fix the bugs. It's not just 'oh no a bug is there, delete'. They need to find out how the bug got there, it costs some time.
Well, It's their job, not mine. I buy my smurfberries and they fix bugs.They 'should' fix them. I haven't received any 'message in a bottle' so far, upgrade didn't work
What level are you? You can only get one at level 24.
They only appear roughly once a week.

It's not harvest, the quest completes when you plant 20 flowers.
I have harvested 60+ boxex of flowers, but still the mission not complete.

I heard that by listening to the music, you can get the rhythm and hit the note easier.
If you play Harmony minigame you must do it with music, it's more fun then.

I got an update on android from 1.0.6a to 1.0.6.1a. I can't tell whats new? Who knows?
I think it was meant to be a stability update (I can't be sure, since Beeline did not provide any notes with the release), but I'm not convinced it works as intended. My island crops just wilted again when I traveled to the main village and I'm still experiencing random game freezes – these are two issues that a lot of players have which I was hoping would be addressed with the update. The only real improvement I've seen is not having to tap 4-5 times on my ship before it finally sails away.

Yeaa all tht for ios but waht about android. If they were gonna put android aside than beeline should of never created sv for android. Tht s$%t ain't right.
Crystal, no not at all Beeline are working on Android, and there is already a minor update live for Android, we will publish a post about it shortly.

Yea I agree also. It’s like android users are on 3rd burner. Our last update weren’t even a real update all it really did was fix the crash island glitch. I never got any smurfberries for Easter and I still havent been able to visit my friends villages since the update before that. I almost gave up and installed till a good friend convinced me to stay.
Yes I know no quest costs smurfberries, but it seems if it's the only solution for now.
I planted 10 corn, 10 artichoke und 10 tomatoes…. I think 3 times now and it does not work. Smurfette's quest is still there. AND 5 of my smurfs are gone, but I have no quest. Papa Smurf wants that I plant a crop of carrots and the others have no quests for me. Where are my 5 smurfs??
And I didn't get the Smurfberries at eastern
The quest is to HARVEST all 3 crops at the same time…have you done that? If it still doesn't work, you might have to wait till the next update to fix this.

Thanks for the reply. I’m on iPhone and always connected to Internet via wifi. It’s gotta be something else. I’m just waiting for the next update. Till then I’m just gonna have to pretend that there is no such quest as message in a bottle

Wow, that's weird (second picture). This is certainly a bug, contact Beeline for this.
I have been cheated before and to be sure I tap each crop with finger to harvest instaed of farmer smurf, trends to work.
I have not gotten the bottle yet. I have the latest update and connected to wifi. I am from Canada. Any advice??
Unfortunately, you could be experiencing a bug. What device are you using to play the game?
