Smurfs village new update (Version 1.1.2) is live now

The new update Version 1.1.2 (farmer smurf update) of smurfs village game is officially live now. As stated by Beeline in this update:
- New magic Shrubs that grow crops and never wither have been added
- A much requested “Plant All” upgrade for Farmer Smurf
- 2 crop packs with 3 new crops each
- 3 farm themed decorative items
- Added Levels 37 & 38
- A paid land expansion
- Some cosmetic changes to the beach have been made
- The tailor Smurf UI issue was fixed
- Finally, a bunch of bug fixes was made and overall stability improvements.

Papa smurf is telling me to build the mine ,but I already have, I can play the game but it doesn't give me the extre xp , I carnt delete the mine to build another one, so I carnt move on in the game . Please help!!!

I’m on my level 26th when suddenly i lost some of my smurfs, from 53 to 22 smurfs only, i also lost the ship which is of course the island is lost too, the animal also gone so i need to get the new animals. And suddenly all the papa smurfs’ request like the request in level 1. But when i look on my level, it’s right that i’m in level 26 and whit the huts that i had, the smurfs was suppose to be 53 but now it’s only 22. I don’t understand what happen to this game

So I am having problems when I play Smurf Village on my Asus Eee Pad Transformer, most of the time when I start up the game, and it gets to the start up screen, once I hit the play button, everything freezes!! the theme song still plays, and things happen in the background but nothing else happens!! I always have to restart my device!!! PLEASE HELP! I love the game and dont want to give it up over something like this!! =(

The same thing happened to me… it force close when i tap the play button. i cant recover it too… it force close.. the only thing i can do is listening to the theme song without being able to play it

I have contacted beeline but NO answer…. it makes me so upset, mad, angry, so sad since i have played this game for over 3months. i miss playing this game… i just can see my lovely village from the recovery only, but i cant go there…. because when i try to go there, it force close again and again…..

If you have game center you can delete the app and download it again and se if that works you will start to play on level 1 but after a whille you get an option if you want to have your old village back or get on playing on the new

I just got to level 26, upgraded Timber Mill's hut and received the land expansion, but it's all white! The big log that was blocking the way is completely gone and there's nothing along any of the edges of the "space'. Is this normal? I can place objects there and my smurfs wander around, so it can be used, I just want to make sure that it's supposed to be so empty
That is how it is supposed to look, it will get green when the snow is removed, but there are not "trees" or boundaries at the end of the expansion.

I am on level 30 and Papa Smurf is asking me to plant 20 (!!) plant boxes… I only have two in my village and can not obtain more…?? It says I need more smurfs…??? How do I get around this???? Thank you!!!
The number of your smurfs (living in your village, not the ones available, i.e. not working) must equal the number of crop fields + shrubs + flower boxes. To get more flower boxes you can either delete crop fields/shrubs or add new smurfs. However, it is enough if you just plant the flowers. They do not need to grow, so you can plant and then delete them and repeat 20 times without having to buy new flower boxes.

the new land expansion on the right seems useless with those logs going right across. Anyone else agree??
The logs are removed once you get the new land. But there is a bug at the moment where you will still see the logs and not the new lands on other's villages (like neighbours, random villages etc.)

What is he asking for? Magic Shrubs or a certain kind of magic crop (like magic rasperries, etc.)? If it is the magic shrub, you just have to place on of those little trees that grow fruits and stuff. If you already have one, just delete it and replant it. If he wants magic crops, they are normal crops that you can just choose from the menu. You do not need Farmer for any of that.

I'm at level 38 when i harvest my crop or open my present the % of my XP is not adding up. is it suppose to be like that
Yes, that is normal, you have reached the maximum level, until a new update with new levels is released, your XP counter will stay at 0%, however, all the XP you gain is still counted and will jump to the correct number once you installed the new update.

The fruits that can be build on the trees/shrubs are the crops that do not wither, the normal crops that crow in the gardens will still wilt.
The paid land expansion can't be the stone steps to the cliff, that has been available way before the farmer update. And the smurfberry expansion was there before the update as well. If the expansion is in thisupdate it cant be something that was already available for everyone before, it has to be a new land expansion. So I'm guessing it's not available yet.
The stone steps was the first free land expansion and the one with 25 Smurfberries was the first paid expansion. Then they added the beach as a second free land expansion. The 25 Smurfberries expansion is now available twice, so that is the second paid expansion. You can now buy it for 50 Smurfberries and a total of 50-60% more land, so it is already available
All of a sudden my village explanded. Is this from the newest update? I have a ton of things I didn't have before!
That should not have something to do with the update, seems like something went wrong. If you do not want to keep it, first try restarting your device, if that does not help, use the recover village tip to restore to a time where everything was the way you had it. It states paid expansion … And still I can only get it using berries that’s still the same as before? What was the point in saying you have done something when still the same … When you stated paid expansion I assumed usin smurfs money which would explain paid not the same as you have already have … Can you sort out the rookie mistake as I like this game but why should you have to pay out loads of money for a game of this caliber as its a minor game not alot to it you should enjoy this game it Ent like a xbox 360 or PS3 they are only 40 quid brand new … And you are charging 59.99 for few thousand berries WHAAAAT!? sort it out …. And I have emailed this company many a time you send me a email back saying I will get a reply witting 48 working hours 3 weeks n still waiting hmmmmmmm for what you charge should have good customer service!
"Paid" means paid with real money, i.e. Smurfberries. If a land expansion does not require you to use Smurfberries (i.e. if it is free or only costs Coins) it is advertised as a free land expansion, if it requires you to pay with Smurfberries, the developers advertise it as a paid land expansion.
There have always been one free and one paid expansion. The first free expansion where the stonesteps that lead to the clifftop and the additional 25% at the bottom where the paid one. Now we again had a free one (the beach) and for a second time additional 25% of land at the bottom (paid version for yet again 25 Smurfberries). It is not the same paid land expansion, as you can now do it twice, so add a total of about 50% of land to the bottom of your village.
We are not Beeline, i.e. the developers of the game, so I can not help you with the email you send nor tell you when you will get an answer. You might try to contact them on their Facebook Website (facebook.com/Beeline-Games ).
Can undrstand your point but this game should have more things free as it’s not like a xbox 360 game … Or should give back to the customers have like a freebie give-away … If you do have any say … Next update what about a tropical beach bar or restaurant for the beach could give money and experience? and maybe a barbecue ?
Like I said, we are not the developers, and we don’t have anything to say about what they include in the coming updates. I like your ideas, however. Maybe email them to Beeline, so that they will take them into concideration.
It might also be a good idea to tell them that you think they should add more free stuff, I guess the more people would like that the more it will be concidered.

how do you delete a bridge you have already bought? Mine won't let me!
You can only delete the stone bridges and the big bridges, you can not delete the small bridge across the right river. To delete a bridge, just go into move mode and tap on the bridge, then tap on the red circle and it will prompt you for confirmation

Well, now I'm stuck. Since when does Papa Smurf give you challenges that you have to spend smurfberries to complete? I didn't want to have to buy the fruity fun pack! Is there any way to skip this challenge?
hi, im on level 22 and Papa smurf has asked me to grow some grapes, but in order for me to do that I have to get the fruit crop for 20 smurfberries :O. Do I really need to use all my smurberries in order to plant some grapes? or is there any way I can do this without using my smurfberries?
how long must i stop using the time cheat before jokey starts giving gifts?
Jokey will give gifts again when you have reached the date up to which you cheated, for example if you advanced the clock towards 2nd Dezember 2011, he will give gifts again from the 3rd Dezember 2011 onwards.
ive cheated for 30 levels, when i cheat i will forward the clock to the next 24 hours max, and then set it back to current time. so how do i calculate how long i have to wait? cos now clumsy says jokey wants to give him a gift but its already been 2 levels but still nothing from jokey
When you have really only set the clock ahead for max. 24 hours you should get him to give gifts again the next day (max. in 48 hours). So something must have gone wrong (maybe you accidentially change the year/month etc.)
There is not really a way to calculate when you will get gifts again, the only thing you can do is set the clock ahead, then go to the game to check whether Jokey has a ! above his head or not. It is important that you do not touch anything, i. e. collect XP, harvest, collect the present when you do that, or the time will be expanded again to the date you set the clock ahead. That way you can estimate at what point he will give you gifts again.
problem is, something is really wrong but i cant figure out what? cos i did not touch the year or month. and i always go to date&time and press "set automatically" whenever papa smurf says hes disappointed that smurfs are working too hard blah blah blah..
and i saw this on jokey's page, "WARNING! If the “time cheat” has been used while playing the game (i.e. changing the device’s time ahead so that crops and tasks are completed instantly) it can happen that, as a consequence, Jokey does not give gifts anymore."
the last sentence, does it mean permanently doesnt give gifts?

No, that is not permanent, usually that is only up to the date you changed ahead, once the date has come in real life he should start giving gifts again.
Have you tried to set the time ahead, for lets say a week or month to see if Jokey has the yellow “!” above his head again? That might give you an estimate on how long this is going to take.
ive tried to set the time ahead, the furthest i could go was 31dec2011, but still, theres no ! above jokey! this is depressing
That means you will definetly not get anything from Jokey this year. It is really weird this normally only happens if you have set the time that far ahead. The only advice I have left is to contact the creators of the game. Their support team can be reached at support@beeline-i.com

I am glad you found it. You can not really do anything about that, you have to either wait till that date or keep your device with a wrong date (maybe a year that is the same as this (days of the week wise, etc.).

I think the 5000 coin expansion is a new function attached with the recent update… it should be a separate expansion from building the "Steps" as i have already expanded to the right using the "steps" before the new update takes effect.
No, it is not a new function, the 500 coins expansion are the stone steps that let you access the clifftop. The help section of the game has simply not been updated. The new land expansions in the latest updates where the beach (free) and the 2nd 25% land expansion to the bottom (25 Smurfberries in the Smurfberry Shop)
where is the NEW expansion … can ANYONE find it … I thought those 5000 stairs were the ones that go up the cliff on the right … the new expansion is supposed to give you more space at the bottom if you look at the pics posted

Papa Smurf's quest to me is to harvest grapes for the smurfs. The fruit pack does not seem worth the 20 smurfberries and I was not planning to get it. Not to mention I only have 15. Anyones else get this? Can I get him to change the quest?

I thought, that this is a bug, but i was not sure. My problem is the same as turtlegirl76 problem is, with the fruity fun pack. I do not want to by that pack and it's sucks, because someone's fault (who were not tested properly the development) many of us are prevented to keep on the challenges that Papa Smurf gives us. And what i can't understand it if they know about this bug, why are not fix it as soon as possible and put out the update.I work as a software tester and I know what I mean (at least here this way works )

Thanks for the update, however, I have had to purchase the Fruit crop to allow me to continue…. Hopefully they will look at a way of replaces smurfberries used to allow me to continue.

Basically explaining it it was a bug and they are fixing it for the next release, if like me you have paid for the crops to be able to continue contact them as they have indicated that if you have your iTunes receipt for the purchase of Smurfberries they will look to compensate you.

No, the price will probably not be changed, but the task will, so that Papa will not ask again to grow items that require the fruity fun pack. The update is expected in the first half of September.

You must have misunderstood the shrubs/trees. The crops/fruits on the trees never wilt, but the normal crops and flowers will still wither.
bunnyhair, to expand to the right side, you need to build a bridge which is unlocked in the earlier levels cosing 150. To expand further right, you need to build the steps which unlocks at level 22.
How to expand it to the right side? I can't see the upgrade option. Please help.. I need to expand….
There are two expansions to the right side. First build the small bridge to access the land on the right side of the river and the second one is the clifftop expansion, build the stone steps (level 22) so the Smurfs can access that area (more info here: http://www.mysmurfsvillage.com/smurfs-village-gui… )
how do you play
You have to install the App from Apples App Store on an Apple device (i. e. an ipod touch, iphone or iPad). Then you can just play the app. It is not available for any other platform at the moment

When you have 1 smurfberrie and you upgrade farm house, it will be used. When you have 15 it will be used.
I did the farmer 'plant all' upgrade – it used the 3 smurfberries i had, but it didn't require me to purchase anymore.

after upgrading my farmer, each time i plant all the cost of the fruit and vegetables change.
It shows the total cost (and total rewards) for all the fields that will be planted: the base price multiplied by how many fields are available.
I've found it useful when I'm running low on cash and need to be careful with my budget.
In the FAQ section in the Help screen from the main menu, it says the first expansion is 25 smurfberries and the second is 5000 coins. Still can’t find the 5000 coin expansion tho
That was the first expansion they added. You can buy stone steps for 5000 Coins and place them at the cliff, so you can then access the area of the cliff. That is the land expansion they are talking about in the help section. To build the stone steps you have to be at least on level 22

So what happens to the people who have now lost 15 Smurfberries on the plant all? When some people got it FREE. That is very unfair
I don't see it that way, it was always advertised to cost 15 Smurfberries, so by clicking that you new what it would cost you. Some people had luck and got it free, but nobody was forced to spend 15 Smurfberries on it, everyone new what it would cost.
However, I think if you contact Beeline Support (support@beeline-i.com) they might restore you the 15 Smurfberries, it is always worth a try.
For me the "Plant all" update said it would cost smurfberries, but I did not have any. Simply agree say Yes and it appears to be a free update. Also, make sure you power down your device completely if you lose your village. Do not play. When you restart your device, your old village should be returned.

I liked the option of "Plant All" but you need to pay 15 smurf berries for it, althoiugh I don't trust this game, but the upgrade this time went well for me no problem at all,
I would like to know how in the picture shown they have 1993 Smurfberries and only one level 38. It took me forever to get to 28.
They are pictures provided by the developers, they can have as many Smurfberries as they want.

So, the second you click “update,” say bye byeto tour village- mine is now replaced with a village that is not mine. I’ll figure this out soon or I quit!
I had to downgrade back to version 1.1.1! Only that way the GameCenter recognized my old Smurf village. With the new update 1.1.2 I would have had to start at level 1 again -.-
I tried verious combinations of installing, rebooting my iPhone and GameCenter logins, but nothing worked!!! I hope they will fix this problem soon!
How do you downgrade back 1.1.1?? Im having the same issue!! Ugh!!
First: Delete the update on the iDevice and in iTunes.
Second: Hopefully you still have the older version in your trash or something! Than just out it back into iTunes… The GameCenter will than automatically load your saved data.
A smurf-friend of mine just contected me, telling me that she is now playing my village… she sent me a screenshot showing MY village!!
She still has her amount of smurfberries, her coins and her level, but my village setup and my buildings bought with my smurfberries. Her old village is gone, too. She is playing version 1.1.2.
Hopefully this report will help to fix this bug soon!

What do I do if I’ve hit character limit? I would like to remove some of the snails I have so I can see all my smurfs.
You can not do anything about it. Smurfs, Catterpillars and Critters (i. e. the roaming creatures) count towards that limit. If you have reached the maximum (250) you can not add new characters to your village and because you can not delete Smurfs, Caterpillars or Critters, you can not do anything about that at the moment.
