Sporty Smurf

Sporty Smurf was first introduced in version 1.2.1 on iOS. He does not come with his own mushroom house but instead has a soccer field. He is available from level 22 onwards and his soccer field costs 5000 Coins, build in 24 hours and is only available on the island.
Sporty Smurf comes with his own mini game, the “Soccer Mix Up Mini Game”. His mini game gives up to 500 XP if the game has been finished with a rating of “smurfy” on the most difficult level.

It is also possible to customize his soccer field with special items (like Bleachers or Lights). This will increase the amount of XP that can be earned from his mini game, but all of the customization items are only available for Smurfberries.

There are four different kind of soccer games available for him, each is played a little bit differently.
Header
In the “Header” game an arrow goes up on an indicator bar on the left side of the screen to indicate the position of the ball. Once the indicator has reached the “green” area (i.e. the ball is in the correct position), taping on the screen will make Sporty shot the ball with his head onto the goal. If the indicator was on the correct position he will score, if it was in the “red” area when taping the screen he will miss.
Corner
The second variation of the game is called “Corner”.
This time the player has to tap on the screen once to start the indicator and then a second time when the arrow has reached the “green” area. Taping the first time will make Sporty start the corner ball, the other player will score if the indicator was in the green area, if it was still in the “red” area when taping on the screen for the second time the Smurf will miss the ball.
Pass
The variation “Pass” works similar to the “Corner” game, but this time the indicator is not just going up, but up and down. To make Sporty make a successful pass tap the screen when the arrow is in the “green” area, otherwise he will miss.
Penalty
The last variation of the game is the “Penalty Kick”. This time there is a short time given in which the indicator has to be raised to the top to the “green” area so that Sporty will make a goal.
To raise the arrow the screen has to be tapped multiple times, each tap will get it a little bit higher. A good trick for this is to do it with two fingers, for example both thumbs on each side alternately tapping on the screen until the arrow has reached the “green area”.
Mix-Up
To make it a bit more difficult, the most advanced level is the mix-up variation. It combines all four of the variations of the game, so it takes a bit of practise to always use the correct method to score a goal, but the mix-up game gives the most XP so it is worth to practise this variation.

Anyone else have the problem of not getting goals when you hit in when it's on the green? I hit the green area every time & it only counted 2. Unlike the illustration before the game starts, there is no white line in the center of the green either.
Yes, I hv the same problem. And at penalty hard game the arrow does never reach the top.

If he asks you to get wood or stone with rafts uou have to send the ones at the bottom off the list.

It means you need to choose one of your mushroom huts and customize it. Choose the design that has a heart and it is pink in color.

Find these items on your island buld menu. You should be able to identify them, they look like big round life rafts.

Sporty Smurf has new quests and asked to place 2 sand castles in the village which I did. Nothing happened. To be on the safe side I also placed two on the island. To no avail. Any clues?
Are you sure you placed the 2 sand castles on the island? I did mine and had no issue.
Sporty Smurf asked for 2 sand castles in the village (800 coins) which I did. I returned to the island and found sporty with the same quest. So I placed 2 sandacstles there (1400 coins each) no result either. I saw above another person also has encountered this…

are you sure that you buy the right one there are two different sand castles on the island try to buy two of the other kind
I had the same problem but have solved it.
At first I put two 1400 coin sandcastles (with the pointy turrets) on the island, no result.
Then I put two 800 coin sandcastles (with the square turrets) on the island – quest complete.
Although Sporty says to place them in the village it seems they need to go on the island, and only the 800 coin castles work.

Buy the sancastle's for 800 coins not 1400 coins.

Rebooting your device is not a fix. Another bug filled update by Beeline.
You need to delete and reinstall the app on your device.

Yesterday I saw my sporty smurf walking around, and today he is gone. Soccer field is still there, and can play the games but the smurf is M.I.A. What's going on with this game first snappy now sporty. Are the roaming other islands? Is that even possible?
I looked in the build menu it says already placed. For both sporty and snappy.
Same here. I looked though my recovery save files and it seems that I would have to recover 8 days to get Sporty back. I'm not goint to do that. Hope they're going to fix this.

And I just noticed yesterday that since Snappy went missing, Sasette wouldnt give the "hut bonus" anymore even though snappy's and slouchy's house are there.
If you can recover your village to the point you still had them. To recover: Go to options, tap Papa Smurf's head 16 times, a 'recover village' button appears. Select it and you will see a list off saved villages. Select one, preview and if it's yours select recover. If it doesn't work contact Beeline at support@beeline-i.com

you mean 2nd village ? YOu can create 2nd or even 3rd village on the same apple device if you have game center. Just create unique Game center ID for each village. Each game center id requires unique email address.

Now that I finished my soccer field I have to admit that I am very disappointed that even the necessary goals cost a lot of SB! Not to speak of the nice decoration stuff.
I recommended the game to a lot of people who now play with their kids and do spend real money for some extras, but now rather have to warn people!
There should be at least e few things for the stadium available for coins…
What's with the trophies in the top left hand corner when you choose your level? Is that supposed to represent how well you've done? Because all of mine that are unlocked have bronze trophies but the ones that are still locked have gold ones that have a 1 on them.

Pity the stadium lights don't actually light up in the dark in the same manner as the windows in the Smurf Huts.
Your tip for the Penalty game, doesnt work, if I try to tap more than once the most of the times it thinks I have finished tapping and it counts it as fail, this way I cat never succeed the MIx-up mode
(P.S: I have iPad 1, which doesnt have as good sensors as the newer models).
You still have a better device than I do, and I can complete the HARD sporty games with my 4 year old iPod Touch Generation 2. Harden up and practice!

The soccer-game doesn't give a sign above it if it is ready again to play! Someone else having this problem? And i also sended out rafts for blueprints when they came back there was 1 present so i was happy for receiving a blueprint i opened it was there a bleuprint i already bought with berries! Verry dissapointed! Maybe they can beter change the name of the game from smurfs to bugs-village!! LOL
This is the same for me too, no indication when the mini game is ready for play. But I checked and found that you can play the soccer once every 12 hours. As for the blueprint thing, it might be linked to the current MIAB bug which Beeline is looking into.
The time depends on the activity you pick. I did the first easy one, and got a time out of either 5 or 6 hours(120xp). The second time I picked hard mix it up (last one), and got a timeout of 36 hours(500 xp)
Today I played twice. After first time, I checked the remaining time is 6 hours. Then after 6 hours I played Sporty's mini game second time and checked next time is 24 hours remaining.
Anyway, This game is most time I have spent playing on my iPad.
Dependant upon which game you played in the soccer field. I play the hard levels and can only do so once every 24 hours. If you always go in at the same time every day, you should be ok.
Yep the update was great. Lost the bolts I had collected. Really annoying. Also the bottle quest disappeared when I was half way through. The football field is cool, but not happy that only SB's can be used for upgrades. Why bother giving coins in the game at all. Problem is even with all the faults you still want to keep playing.

All wood, dye and stone rafts take 24 hours each.
scroll to the bottom of the raft missions. There are the 24hr missions called Stone Voyage, Wood Voyage and Dye Voyage. You get two wood per voyage.

Slouchy Smurfling quest
Lost my smurfberries during the bottle message to speed up the process, because the bots disappeared. Hope they fix these bugs & give smurfberries.
I've lost 7 bolts since the update and you now need 20 to complete a piece, not 10. Agghhhh!! MIAB mission disappeared too

After installed the new version, my message in the bottle is gone, I was in the mid of the request and the bottle disappeared. Also in the main island, when u accepted a quest, later u come back the quest is gone. Plz fix these bugs. Thanks
Me too. . . Not the end of the world. But then the smurflings started sending a whole slew of raft quests that take 24 hrs and reuqired multiple rafts. What a pain.

Try to turn airplane mode on or delete and re-install the app if it's connected with Game Center so you can restore it.
