The Smurfs village Christmas 2012 Items

The Smurfs village Christmas 2012 update (version 1.3.0) brought with it snow and a lot of new Christmas Decoration items.
Most importantly in Xmas time is the Christmas tree. Similarly to every year in the smurfs village, there is a big Christmas tree available also this year which is available in the shop as majestic tree and costs 500 gold coins. After you buy the majestic tree you can customize the decorations. It can be decorated in three different variations: modern , traditional and smurfy blue, each decoration customization costs 200 coins. Bear in mind that Christmas tree is a seasonal item which means it will disappear in the next update.

Moreover there is a Christmas calendar which only can be place one time in the village. According to Beeline, the Calender offers smurfy wisdom everyday and that will give out a surprise on December the 26th. Until then it looks like it will show some information about the Smurfs and give the option to tweet that message. An example of the message you will get from Christmas calender is: “The first Smurfs movie was made in Belgium in 1975″. Tweeting it will not give a present /reward for that day like reporter, though. If you use an old device or an old iOs version, you will get this message: Sorry! Twitter is not supported in this device.
There are also Christmas Hut Customizations available that can be used to put lights in different colors on the mushroom houses. The customizations are not available via blueprint but have to be bought with Smurfberries instead. Like the Halloween customizations they will not disappear automatically after Christmas but stay as long as they are not deleted.
Just like last year, Papa Smurf, Brain, Smurfette and Grouchy Smurf have dressed up for Christmas and, as it is so cold outside, the other Smurfs are wearing earmuffs and mittens.

All of the Christmas items can be found in the build menu, mainly the second and third shop. Many of the items (unless it is says differently in the items description) will not disappear after the next update but simply not be available to purchase anymore.
How can I complete the get wood quest?? I've tried single logs,and the expensive logs and nothing works!!!
You can either collect wood daily from Timber or purchase from Handy's shop.
I just leveled to 29 and it let me build 2 houses on the mainland, 2 houses on the mountain and no houses on the island. Nice getting the extra smurfs.
I am trying to complete papa smurfz challenge on the mountain where I need to find a crystal, I have found 2 but it won't give me my reward and give me a new challenge, wot am I doing wrong??
Probably nothing you're doing wrong. There are issues with the game recognizing completion of quests and with giving impossible quests that cannot be completed. Ignore it for now.
How does the calendar work? I placed it in the village but nothing happens even when I tap ip. And what is the way to get xp from the wooden goat and reindeer? Do I have to place them ina specific location in the village? Thanks.
The calendar has only given tweets so far. There's a bug with the goat and reindeer. They're supposed to give xp but they don't.
I have the same question. Where exactly does the reindeer and goat have to go? I'd like to know for when the glitch is fixed….

I just turned over to level 44 and the game will not let me add any huts or either the island or mainland. Anyone else have this problem?
Yes I had it too when I just leveled up but the level before I was able to place two so I guess that's why.

They are supposed to be in the build menu for 1500 coins. They are to the right of the loom for 5 smurfberries. They are hung from two poles colored red and white.
I love all the Christmas items…am NOT having any issues with sweeper smurf…BUT I STILL can not receive gifts or have any friends water my plants…VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!

You can purchase the lights when you've got Handy's shop.
Sweepy deleted my smurfy chair that cost me 20 sb's. I want to recover my village from the back up, but it only previews the most recent backup where the chair is already gone. I tap on the older back-up (turns purple), but nothing happens when I tap on the 'preview" botton. What can I do?????:(
That's odd. Try power cycling your device to see if that clears up the problem. If it doesn't, you should open a ticket with Beeline: http://beeline-i.com/support.php
My hot air ballloon has disapeared from my village! Please can someone help! Has this happened to any body else?
You could try restoring from a backup. Tap Options, tap PapaNs head 16 times, tap Recover Village, and your backup files should appear. You can preview each file before deciding to overwrite your village with the data.
I just lost Farmer Smurf….I just replaced Miner and I'm getting nervous about doing anything to get Farmer back! I have been burned with Shrek big time for $125.00….my Smurf Village is on level 43… What do I do to get Farmer back? Trying to deal with Beeline is a waste of time

If Sweepy erased your Farmer, the only way to get him back is to restore from a backup. Go to Options, tap Papa's head 16 times, tap Recover Village. Preview each file until you find one with Farmer in his appropriate place.
Not sure why you say dealing with Beeline is a waste. They are usually quite responsive.

I have a quest where Papa Smurf wants to visit another village. I can't complete it and when I visit another random village and come back, he still wants the same quest to be done. I cannot even get the quest to do the mountain cause I cannot complete this one. Has this happened to anyone else at level 33?
Yes, it has been reported by a couple of other players. Just ignore the quest for now.
The update still has not changed anything. I might just send Beeline a request for support. I really want to get to the mountain.
I have the same problem with my android tablet. I can't waitfor the christmas update. It sucks how android is way behind apple.

I added a reindeer and some sort of straw goat, it said it would pay xp. What do tou have to place it near for the xp? I guess it’s like the playground, but what item do these go with?
It is a bug/glitch, there is no way to get XP from it at the moment

It is, at the moment, an exclusive item for the Japanese version. People have been letting Beeline know in their support community that they want it for the International version as well, but there are no news about that from Beeline yet.

The item that Tracker Smurf wants you to build will have an icon (an image of Tracker) in it right corner in the build menu, that is how you see what item he wants from you.
The wooden reindeer & Yule goat say to place for extra XP so I was expecting daily XP, but that is not the case.
I would have placed the reindeer anyway, but daily XP would have been nice. Oh well

Appears to be a glitch. I had crops growing (roses, artichokes, golden potatoes, & acorns) with a few hours left on them. I went to the island where I harvested my tomatoes that were ready. When I returned back to the village, everything had wilted including the flowers, artichokes, & golden potatoes. The acorns were ready to harvest ( they had a ways to go). I lost quite a bit of coins and XP for this glitch. I did not want to recover my village for this as I am afraid it will just keep happening until the glitch is fixed. Please look into this. Love this game!
I have heard about this, the suggestion has been to try it from a different browser or a PC if you are trying it from a mobile device.

This happens from time to time. It's happened with me too in the past. It's a known glitch Beeline have been aware about since the island came into play.

I was enjoying the new update, even when sweepy swept away farmers’hut. Purchased it again& updated farmer costs 40 sb! Not so happy then. Now i want to play but my hotair balloon is moved( by sweepy?) and wont fly… Now i am pissed! I try recover village( cant choose any prev village) switch phone off and on and installed the app again… Nothing happened, any suggestions????
I'm sorry to hear that. This is probably due to the Sweepy Smurf bug which Beeline has acknowledged. If recovering your village doesn't help. you may e-mail Beeline support for any smurfberries you may have lost. You can reach out to them at support@beeline-i.com
since the xmas update I have lost the ability to go to the island but can see the boat and all of my items on the mountain have gone, never mind loosing all my animals from the mainland and most of my smurfs???
Recover your village: Go to the main menu, tap options. There you see papa smurfs head. Tap it 16 times and a recover village button will appear. Select it and you'll see a list of saved villages. You can preview them before you have to recover. If you've found the one that's yours before the error, select recover.

Recover village doesn't work.
I looked at all of the saves and they all come up with the same save,it has me at lvl 32, but I am lvl 40 what do I do about recovering now?

Why only Papa Smurf, Brain, Smurfette and Grouchy Smurf have dressed up for Christmas? Why not others? Like Clumsy Smurf, so poor thing… so cold yet he get no cloth.
They only dressed up the characters that were dressed up in the Smurfs Christmas Carol special (and Papa Smurf because… Well. He's Papa Smurf!)

I just updated my village and bought sweeps smurf and additional land. But after 30mins I lost Sweeps Smurf and Farmer Smurf!!! After spending $55!?!? Geez! I love playing smurf village and saving money to buy smurfberries, it's now becoming a disappointment.

Also, if Sweepy is who caused your Farmer to disappear, please do the data recovery process. There is a bug whereby Sweepy can sweep away important things. To recover your data: tap Options, tap Papa's head 16 times, tap Recover Village, and preview each file until you see one that has Farmer.

I found that going back an additional day – BEFORE I wasted the sb on Sweepy was a better idea. Got the 30 sb back which I used for Granpa Smurf’s cottage, which pays considerably MORE xp than Sweepy ever would. I lost a lot of xp but am so much better off. My suggestion is to undo that bad purchase in the first place. It blew away my Farmer Smurf, thanks for absolutely nothing.
