Lost village or return to level 1

If you opened the Game and your village reverted back to a lower level or restarted to level one, the most important thing to do is close the app immediately and do not continue playing. Then power cycle and restart your device (hold the sleep button on the top until a “slide to power of” message appears. After the device has restarted, go back to the App: your old village should be back.

If that has not helped, see the section “Backing up the village – preventing data loss and restoring a lost village” on how to restore it from a backup point.

  1. Kiver says:

I lost my village-level 68! Cloud back up and everything- at the point of just gathering the smurfs to fill out my collection, and resources coming in so fast, that it took days for me to get the wonders built. 4 years of time and yes, even multiple smurf-berry bushes purchased, and Beeline has been less than helpful. If they cannot help retrieve my game, the least they can do is give me the hundreds of berries that I paid for. I have contacted them a number of times with no help. I remember when Beeline rocked, ( I played multiple Beeline games on both apple and android) when they cared enough to try to do the right thing and help out their supporters. I expect they are making enough money now with exorbitant purchases that they don't care anymore.

  2. Relieved says:

I run Smurfs Village on my iPod that's normally not connected to anything. I recently updated my village and after some difficulty with having to free up memory, it finally worked. However the village opened at level 1. I tried to restore but wasn't able to preview the older of the two versions. I didn't have any hope of restoring so let my son start a new village. After he'd played for half an hour I decided to try restoring my village after all. I closed Smurfs Village. Connected my device and logged into Game Centre. Shut down the device (by holding down the off switch for a few secs and sliding the power off). Switched device on. Started up Smurfs Village, and hey presto – there was a choice of two games – level 1 or level 58. It worked!!!! Pretty nice feature!

  3. Aslan says:

If we update the smurfs village app will we start from level 1? Because I don't want that to happen. I worked a lot to get to level 36 and I don't want to loose my smurfy wonders especially the king smurfs castle I don't want to loos my specialized characters in the island.for example slouchy, snappy, sporty, caveman, clockwork smurfette, and all the others.i don't want to loose the mountsteepsmurf and the spoof planet.

  4. Hao says:

    Hi there

I got my Smurf village game crashed during startup. Everytime it gets to Beeline orange screen, it goes back to my ipad home screen. I did try to restart my device several times but i couldn't get into the game or even the main menu.

Also, I've just downloaded one on my iphone using same itunes and Games center accounts but it started from level 1.

I was on level 63 with 2 million coins and 1100 smurfberries.
    Someone help me pleaseee?

    • Smurfette says:

If you save has not been transfered via Game Center you can restore your game from an icloud backup of your iphone.
As for the crashing, are you using an older iphone? They have issues like that due to memory limitations. If not you should contact Beeline support and let them know.

      • Hao says:

        Thanks for your support Smurfette

The crashing one was on my ipad air.

I'm not too sure if my saved game has been transferred or not. Should I delete the game and redownload it from the icloud?

        • Smurfette says:

Deleting the game and redownloading it alone wont work, if you want to restore from iCloud you have to restore your complete device from it (Instructions can be found in our backup section).
An iPad Air should not have memory issues (I am still using the 3 and SV works fine on it). Its weird. If you decide to restore your device make sure you have an additional backup (for example a local iTunes Backup)

          • Hao says:

Thank you so much for your help!!

I've restored from the back up. Its sad when my village goes back to level 48 and I lost all my smurf wonders.
I don't know either. It was ok on my previous ios devices (ipod touch 4, iphone 5, ipad 2). But it returns to level 1 once I install it on my iphone 6.

  5. mathilda says:

Hi, I'm so freaked out right now, because I opened my village (Level 22) and it went back to level 1, where Gargamel is talking and stuff. I only noticed when I already got to the part where Papa Smurf comes in. I've tried restarting my phone without results. How is it possible that I can't get my village back after just tapping the screen a couple of times?! Do I have to start over or can I get it back (Android phone, not saved in a cloud). Please help! Thanks.

  6. Emilyumc says:

If I want to restart the game but keep my smurfberries, how would I do that?

    • Smurfette says:

On iOS, if you are logged into the same account that you used to buy your Smurfberries the ones you bought for real money should appear right at the beginning in your account. But this does not always work – for example if you switched accounts in between or even deleted the app. I am not sure if this also works on Android.
In either case you can always contact Beeline and have them resend you the Smurfberries after you restarted your game.
You will, on both cases, however only get the Smurfberries you paid money for – the ones you got from in-game play like from the wonders etc. will always be gone.

  7. lazy says:

    Hello :(

I have changed my phone thrice in the last year, every time I hadn’t backed up my game and after transferring to new phone I restarted my game from the level 1, but this time I was on my level 24, and I have backed it up to my cloud, and now after reinstalled, I previewed my game on cloud and I was too happy to get my game back on the same level but suddenly by mistake I pressed the “Save to cloud” tab and got the statement on the top “new save on 28 12 2014″.

I am crying right now my game is on level 1. I can’t believe this. I spent months to reach that level, I can’t waist my time to make that village again.

Please help me to reload my previous game via cloud or any where else.

I want my village back on the same level please……….

    • Smurfette says:

I am afraid you can't get your game back from the cloud now that it has been overwritten. Do you still have access to your old devices with the game? If so the easiest way would be to save to the cloud from there again. If you don't have access to your other device and also don't have a manual backup (via, for example, Titanium or Helium Backup App) I think you will not be able to get your village back.

    • Laurina Sama says:

      don't cry my friend
I have lost my game twice on level 47 before android provides an official back
now i am at level 45 for the third time and i have saved my game.

I pray i will not lose my game again

  8. DancingToast says:

I've never logged in to Game Centre on my iPad so the only save I have for my village is local. Is there anyway I can sync this save with Game Centre?
    Any help is appreciated.

    • Smurfette says:

You need to log into Game Center and play your local game. It is possible that a new game will start for you, in that case use the instructions above to restore your game from the local save (though it will be one day behind the current one). Then if you keep playing while being logged into Game Center it will sync to the Apple Servers automatically

      • DancingToast says:

        Thanks for the quick response.
I signed into Game Centre, started Smurfs and everything worked from there! I was expecting no end of trouble!
        Thanks again.

  9. Anca says:

The quests for my village are restart to level 1. I can't recover from papa smurf "recover village". Since my game has brocken I play two levels time approx . 2 month. What can l do to recover my village back and papa smurf to recognize the quests.

    • Smurfette says:

The only way to get your village back would be if you have an additional backup, either via Google Cloud / iCloud or a local backup. If you have not made any backups and the recover village does not work you will have to restart your game.
If you made any purchases you can contact Beeline support and have them resend you your purchased Smurfberries and items.

  10. Ron says:

I lost all progress after update tot lollypop

    • Smurfette says:

Do you have a backup? If so try restoring from that. If it doesn't work you will have to start over. If you did buy Smurfberries you can contact Beeline and they will resend them to you.

      • TCollins says:

This happened to my village too. lost all progress. even if it's connected to game center. Recover village also disappeared! since after that new update.

        • Smurfette says:

If there is no data in recover village it means your whole game got deleted.
As you use an iOS device, do you have a backup via itunes or icloud? If so you need to restore your device from the backup, there is no other way to geg your game back

  11. sweetp18 says:

My village did not update well with the Nat Smurfling update. it returned to level 1 and can't recover from Papa Smurf'"s Recover Village option. I can still see it on my son's smurf village as his neighbor/friends. Is there any other way to recover this village. I played on Kindle Fire HD and was on level 32.

    • Stroumpfette says:

No. What you're seeing on your son's SV is a snapshot of what your village looked like to the SV server. It's not really your village. It's a fascimile. Unless you made a backup to the Google Cloud (which I'm not even sure is available on Kindle) or backed up with a third party software that backs up .apk data, you will have to uninstall and reinstall the game and restart from Level 1. You said you've already used the built-in recovery function and it didn't work, so that's all there is. If you spent money on Smurfberries, you can open a ticket with Beeline and let them know you had an unrecoverable crash and had to restart the game. You can ask for them to reinstate your purchased Smurfberries on your new game. You will be required to send your receipts as proof of purchase and your device ID, but do not send them until Beeline requests you send them. You can open a ticket via Beeline's support portal at

  12. Reka says:

After the last udate I lost a lots of huts in the main village, everything on swoof planet, everything on the island and a few things on the mountain. I was lvl 48 and have quests for lvl 1. Will it be fixed with the next update, or can I delete the game?

    • Stroumpfette says:

It's not something that will be fixed in an update. Your data is corrupted. You need to recover from the hidden backups. From the Blue Play menu tap Options. Then tap the icon of Papa Smurf 16 times. When it appears, tap Recover Village. Preview the files you see on your screen starting with the most recent one. Find one that shows your village in its correct form with the correct number of Smurfs. Overwrite your village with that file.

    • Reka says:

      Thx problem solved!

  13. marir says:

I was A lvl 36 and I latest all items in the mauntain, planet swoof and island sombady will help me please

    • Smurfette says:

Have you tried restoring from a backup point as explained in the article above? If it does not work we need more information to help you (such as what have you done so far etc.)

  14. Vanessa Nimmons says:

Is there a telephone number where i can talk to a person?

    • Stroumpfette says:

No. We are a fan site run by volunteers and in no way affiliated with Beeline. To our knowledge, Beeline does not have a phone number for customer service either. You have to submit tickets via their support portal at

  15. Vanessa Nimmons says:

Im like the others above, disgusted with this after years of playing and getting this far., then lose it all. I've told friends about what has happened to me and my game- they said woe- after all those years & you lost it- they are not interested now in trying. They are going to try FarmVille or hayday. It can happen to them also.

  16. Vanessa Nimmons says:

Trying to update the latest version of smurk village, i lost it all. I was over level 70 and had millions of dollars. How can I get my game back.

    • Stroumpfette says:

What operating system are you running on? iOS or android. If you don't have a backup of your data, you may have overwritten it. Tell us what exactly happened when you tried to download the update.

  17. Ted says:

    Hello to support team.
A quick question: When you don't have back up, to restore from iCloud or Google Account and etc
if you root your mobile device, is it possible to recover the game from the last level???
    A sad 59 level player :(
If not, unfortunately i have to delete it and of course not way to start over.
    Thanks for your time.

    • Smurfette says:

If your device is rooted you can make a backup via apps like Titanium, but for that to work your device would to have already been rooted (as in most cases when rooting a device all data is deleted) and if you already have deleted the game you obviously can't backup anymore. So I am sorry to say but if you have your device not currently rooted it will most likely not work.

  18. travis says:

my dad got mad at me for playing games on my phone and he made me delete all of them including smurfs village. i had a level 18 village with 13,000 coins and 91 smurfberries. when i redownloaded the app and opened it i was a level one again. i connected my account with facebook so i was thinking that i connect my facebook with my new village and get my old one back. someone please help me!!! i really want my old
    village back!!!

  19. grouchy says:

Is it better for me to build the windmill or the weather machine?

    • Stroumpfette says:

Both will give you a smurfberry every seven days, and if you build the companion item for the windmill, you can get a smurfberry every six days instead of every seven days. It depends on which one you want.

  20. Paris says:

Hi I have smurfsvillage for Android. I had an HTC mytouch and got a new HTC One. I can't seem to be able to transfer the game and its data from my old phone. Is there any way to transfer ??

    • Smurfette says:

Have you tried to do a backup and then restore your data onto the new device? We have two articles for Android backup, one with Helium and the easier way by using your Google Account. See this article:…

      • Paris says:

I tried these new ways of backing it up but it doesen't work. I've not been able to play my game since January. When I download the app to my new phone it starts at level one. I have my data saved for the game on a sd card but the old handset that the game was originally downloaded on can not be turned on cause of battery issues. I think I may have to buy a new battery for the old phone, turn on the phone, back up the data and then re download to my new handset. This is the only solution that I can think of. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do please. Thank you

        • Stroumpfette says:

You would have to backup the game on your old device first before you try to transfer it to a new device. Are you playing on the Android OS or on iOS?

  21. Willa says:

Not sure if this where to post this but, my device didn't lock and four smurfs were bought with smurfberries by mistake while in my bag. Is restoring the village to before they were bought the only way to return them & get my berries back? I currently have 100,000 bonus xp from Tracker and I don't want to lose it.

  22. CanaWar says:

Help please, i updated my game and my village is gone back to lvl 1. Isnt it damn crazy? My game is not reinstalled. I only made and update on android market.

    • Stroumpfette says:

If you made backups on Google Cloud, it is possible to recover your village. If you had low battery, had the game open while uodating, or had not rebooted your device in several days, it is possible your data became corrupted when you updated. You could also try looking at the hidden recovery files on your device to try to recover your progress. From the blue Play menu, tap Options. Tap tge icon of Papa Smurf 16 times. When it appears, tap Recover Files. See if you have any files listed and previrw them one by one, going from most recent to least recent.

    • Aslan says:

That's the thing I'm scared of right now.i also don't why beeline wanted to can open a ticket at beeline and ask.

  23. Jen says:

I accidentally deleted the smurfs app because it was right next to an app I was trying to delete, ended up getting so pissed because I got so far so I didn't play for a while. Is there any way I can get my village back? I had all the special smurfs and some other things I really don't want to lose (nor spend money on again). Someone please help :(

    • Smurfette says:

If you don't have a backup you need to start over I am afraid to say. See our backup section for what applies for your device:

  24. Mel Salazar says:

I can't access my smurf village after I upgraded my iPad to iOS 7. If I click the update button at App Store it doesn't continue. And I can't open the game anymore.pls help.thanks

    • Stroumpfette says:

You will need to open a ticket with Beeline Support at . Are you able to roll back the update? Do you have a backup?

  25. Wally says:

It's been months since I last played this game. I downloaded app onto my new phone and it's in my old village, level 28…. But what happend to all my smurfs? I had dozens and dozens.. Even some purchased with real money… Now I have a total of only 8!? How can I get the others back? I'm trying to get back Into the game but every time papa smurfs wants me to "send 5smurfs into the forest" when there's already 3 in there from joker who still haven't returned, I'm seriously crippled! No way to play with no smurfs… Ugh

    • Smurfette says:

Do you have iOS or Android? If you have iOS you can make a backup from your old phone (via Game Center or iCloud/iTunes) and then restore your game on your new phone. It sounds to me like the data got corrupted when you transferred it this time.

    • Luann says:

if you go into options when you go into the game look for papa smurfs head tap on papa smurf until the box that says legal/ report turns into restore village. secret restore setting in the game hope it works for you

  26. Jamie says:

Hi i accedently deleted smurfs thinking it was another app so when i got it back from the app store it was all gone i was on level28 but now im on level 1 how can i get it back?

    • Stroumpfette says:

You cannot Beeline periodically determines whether or not the app is supported on different devices, and if they see too many incompatibilities they pull support for a particular device. If you do not see the game on Google Play, it is no longer avaiable for your device.

  27. joy says:

Help!!! I changed my phone from apple to android. How do I transfer my game over?? I have slot of smurfberries bought previously.

    • Poet says:

I'm sorry to inform you you can't transfer your game. Apple and Android products do not mix. You have to start all over your game if you are using an Android phone now.

  28. Solomon says:

Hi.I really need help…I was playing this game at tab 2 but Now I wanted to play at my phoneed note So how can I transfer the game. I current lv 31??

    • Stroumpfette says:

You can use a backup software like Helium (see our article on the subject) if you have Android 4.0 orbetter on the device where your game resides… but you should be aware it is Beeline's official position that there is no sanctioned backup or game transfer solution for Android. You could restart your game on your new device and open a ticket with Beeline asking to have your purchased Smurfberries reinstated on your new device because you had to restart the game.

  29. Alex says:

Hello, I just went from samsung S2 to S3 and can't get my village to my new phone, it makes me start again. How can I get my level 21 onto my new phone?

  30. Jack says:

Hi, i was level 30 when i last saw my village. However i changed a new iphone and opened the app.. It prompted me to load either a lvl 1 village or lvl 30(my old village). I accidently pressed on the lvl 1 instead… How do i revert this? Any help is much appreciated..thanks!

    • Smurfette says:

If you have access to your old iOS device or still have an icloud/iTunes backup of it you can restore your device from the backup and will get your village back, if you do not have either, you can't get your village back, sorry to say.

  31. Smurf says:

Hi. I just got onto my village, and it is giving me quests from the beginning of the game. The game has not restarted, because I am still on the same level that I was before, with the almost everything being the same on the mainland (the sanctuary and its quests also restarted). Also, the swoof planet has restarted completely, the only thing is that I still have the expansions that I had, but it's not giving me the option for more expansions. It is also not letting me go onto my island. Is there anything that I can do? Thanks!

    • Stroumpfette says:

Try recovering your village data from the hidden backups. From the blue Play menu, tap Options. Then tap the icon of Papa Smurf 16 times. When it appears, tap Recover Village. Preview the files going from most recent to least recent. You need to choose a backup from before the problem started.

  32. gem says:

im at level 34 when i noticed that when i purchase a decoration, the amount of it is deducted from my coins but isnt saved when i place it on my main village even aftwr trying to relaunch the gamw and restarting the device.moreso, the main characters are doubled like papa amurf, jokey, etc.each has the separate quests or gifts and u have to tap it just suddenly happened.what do i need to do?how do i file a ticket if needed?how long will it be corrected if ever?

    • Stroumpfette says:

Sounds like you might have data corruption. Try recovering from the hidden backups. From the blue Play menu tap Options. Then tap the icon of Papa 16 times. When it appears, tap Recover Village. Preview the most recent file you see on your screen. If the duplicates are gone, overwrite your village with that file. If not, proceed to the next one. If recovering doesn't fix the problem, you will need to open a ticket with Beeline at

  33. Ana-Maria says:

Hello! Can anybody, please, help me? I was on level 34 on my Samsung S2 and when I upgraded 3 days ago to Android 4.2.2 my village was lost. The game is still on the phone, it appears installed, but when I try to access it the phone blocks completely and I have to restart it. I wrote to beeline…but no answer. I copied the file "com.capcom.smurfsandroid" on my laptop. Should a uninstall the game, reinstall it and copy the file back? Did anybody tried it? Does it work?
Any advice? Please! Unfortunately I did't make any backups to the game….. :(
    Many thanks!

    • Stroumpfette says:

DO NOT uninstall the game, or you will delete VERY IMPORTANT files that you need to run the game. What you copied onto your SD card is not the full data for the game. Please be more specific than "phone blocks completely and I have to restart it". Does this mean that the phone freezes up? Do you see the orange screen, and then the blue screen? Please tell us how far you get and if you see any error messages. You stated you wrote to Beeline, but it is not clear if you opened a ticket, which is the ONLY correspondence they respond to. Thursday was a holiday in the US, and I'm not sure if their offices were open on Friday, but if you opened a ticket you should have received an automated message stating they received the ticket. Please contact them again if you have not actually opened a ticket at

      • Ana-Maria says:

Hello! Thanks fot the prompt answer. Regarding the phone, it freezes up completly…no orange screen, no nothing. I can't use the phone anymore. The only only thing that still works is to restart it.
I opened a ticket at Beeline, not a simple mail, and they answered yesterday that they do apologies but they don't have a timeline for this bug and that they sent it to the developeres.
Yesterday I took a risk…and I reinstalled the game and I copied that file back to my phone… are right…IT DID'T WORK. I LOST EVERYTHING. Well, now I have young smurfs to look after! 😉
Thank you for your support and keep up the good job!

  34. aria says:

Can anyone help me? I was at level 42. Last night i was visit my smurf village, and i had lose all my mushroom in space, i tap my ship to go to island but i can't. Papa smurf and smufette ask me to do some task that i have done before. And i lose my alchemist too. I think my game center was saved my game, but i lose a lof of thing in the same level. What should i do? :(

  35. german says:

I was using the time trick on the setting . I was like on 2015 ’cause I’m getting the smurfberries on space. My crater won’t work now

    • Stroumpfette says:

The "time trick" as you put it is Cheating. The reason your craters and other things in your game won't work is because the game has detected you changed the clock and it is coded to stop working when it detects cheating. You can play for a few more days to see if your game returns to normal, or you can restart the game at Level 1.

  36. X-X says:

Hey guys pleeeeese help me i was on level 32 then i signed to my game center,I went back to my village and i was on level 4!!!!!

    • Stroumpfette says:

What I think you were asked is if you wanted to use the version of your village that was on Game Center, which was on Level 4. When you answered yes, it overwrote your village to Level 4. See if you have any hidden backups by going go the blue Play menu and tapping Options. Then tap the icon of Papa Smurf 16 times. When it appears, tap Recover Village. You should see a list of files. The current one might be Level 4. Go through the list to see if there is a backup close to where you left off at Level 32. If you find one, overwrite your village with that file.

Next time, if you are prompted to choose a village, choose the one which shows the highest level of progress.

      • Surfy time says:

Hey. This has happened to me too and this is what I do every time. I don't know if this will work now but try this (I found it on the net and yes I didn't believe it at first too) when first going onto your smurf village and opening it, when it says to play, options and so forth go to options. Where there is papa smurf press on papa smurf nearly 20 times really quickly (I'm not joking). The legal/support centre will change its name. Click on this and your old or newest village should pop up. It works for me. I don't know if it will work for you however bc you put it to level 4 again. Hope it works :)

        • Stroumpfette says:

What you have discovered is how to find the hidden recovery feature. What you see after tapping Papa Smurf 16 times is the list of the hidden recovery files.

  37. Bobbi says:

If I restart my smurf game on my iPhone will it restart the game that's on my iPad. I want to have my daughter start her own on my iPhone but don't wanna reset mine on my iPad.

    • Stroumpfette says:

You have to have separate Game Center ids for each device in order for the games to be separate for your daughter and you.

  38. ayepiye/ kannivan says:

i am in level 33 but after upgrade ios my smurfe village began with level 1. what can i do?

    • Stroumpfette says:

Try to recover from the hidden backups. From the blue Play menu, tap Options. Then tap the icon of Papa Smurf 16 times. When it appears, tap Recover Village. Preview the most recent file you see on the screen and see if it is at the correct level. If so, overwrite your village with that file, otherwise preview the next most recent file and so on until you locate the backup that matches your level before the update.

It's not working. I was level 39, and now I'm back to nothing. I'm so bummed after such so much time, money and effort invested in this game, won't touch it agin!

      • Smurfette says:

Are you using iOS or Android? If you use iOS, do you have an iTunes/iCloud backup? Also, what happens if you try to use the recover function?

      • tundaesser says:

The exact thing happened to me last night. I'm with you on this, I am so depressed and don't want to do it all again. I was also 39 and had spent so much time and money on this game. This sucks!

  39. Grace says:

Hi there, I have a big problem. After updating to the new version I have lost half of my stuff in space. I have lost all my 4 craters. Since I didn't know about the hidden backups, I went to reinstall the game and used the Game Center trick. I did recover the online village but my stuff in space are still missing. Would the next update maybe fix this problem cos I really do not want to start again. I am on level 47 :o/

    • Stroumpfette says:

Since you reinstalled the game, you wiped out your data. You are starting over. If you open a ticket with Beeline, they can restore any purchased Smurfberries, but they will need your receipts from Google Wallet or iTunes.

i was almoust attaked today by this strange think my apps has bloked wali was plaing with wifi on . It is a virus ? or Gargamel it's finding all the villages and thurning all the smurfs in gold :))

  41. camille says:

Hi. My 15 smurfs in the island disappeared suddenly. And all the animals, and the questions and tasks are the same as before. What will i do? T.T

    • Smurfette says:

The article above links to another article that explains how to restore your village. You should try it and see if you can get your village back to a point before this happened.

  42. Rose says:

The last Sumrf Village update caused my game to lose some of my houses and decorations and also the animal sanctuary. It didnt lose the level I was on or my smurf berries everything I tried wouldn't get my buildings back. So I deleted the app from my phone wish was already saved in Game Center. When I downloaded the app again and tired to restore my village via Game Center. It only restored level 1. I was already on level 33 or so. Please help me!

    • Stroumpfette says:

Redownloading the game automatically reset your game to Level 1 and destroyed your dara. You are at Level 1. What you should have done is restored from the hidden backups.

  43. Jaime says:

Game Center did not have any backups saves listed. My friends can still see my village where it left off so I know the info exists? How to I get this and apply it to my smurfs?

    • Stroumpfette says:

What your friends see isn't your actual village. It is a picture of it somewhere on Beeline servers, but it isn't sata you can use.

      • @vheather99 says:

I have the same issue. lost my data before my Dam finished on the island, and now when I view it from my friend's device, my Dam is finished, and my crops are withered. So, the village IS progressing, which means it MUST exist somewhere.

        • Stroumpfette says:

Nope. It is just a picture of your village on one of the Beeline servers. It's not really your village – just a snapshot of it.

  44. melanie says:

Please help, since the latest update my game on android shuts down when i press play. I'm at level 40. When i try to recover the village to a date 2 or 3 days ago, i can see my game how it was, he asks if i want to go to that stage, i say yes and i begin at level 1!!!! I have tried this several times and every time i start at level 1. I opened a ticket whit beeline they keep telling me to recover the village to restore lost data but they dont listen because i loose all my data by recovering. What else can i do?? I already shut down my device and restarted it also doesnt work….. Why does the game shut down when he tries to open?
I am sorry if i make mistakes in my writing, i come from Holland, i am dutch not english…..

    • Stroumpfette says:

Please don't worry about your English. It is very good. :) I'm not sure what to tell you about Beeline not listening. I had the same thing happen to me two days ago. Are you running Android 4.0 or higher? Try to respond to the email they sent to you and tell them you already tried what they are telling you and it didn't work. I have personally stopped playing the game because of the technical issues. I think ultimately they will tell you to reinstall and restart the game. Should you choose to do that, you should request to have the smurfberries you purchased reinstated to your new installation. You will need to provide copies of your Google Wallet receipts.

      • melanie says:

Sad to hear that you stopped playing the game because of the issues i hope i won't have to start over but i am afraid i have to. I have android version 4.0.4 does that explain why i have these issues? Thanksfor your help!

        • Stroumpfette says:

You're welcome. I'm bummed out about it, too, but I spent a lot of money, and I don't want to have to keep doing the same parts of the game over and over. I wish you the best and hope your game can be recovered.

    • Vivian says:

I just wanted to say, this has happened to me before and I have one really helpful tip to get back to your recent quest. All you have to do is change the clock forward the amount of time you want. Avoid using internet while playing the game and also don't change the clock backward to the REAL time unless you are done with fast forwarding the game. Just please acknowledge that Papa smurf will give you a warning not to overwork the smurfs, but there won't be a consequence until several warnings are given. Also, you earn about 130 sbs by the time you reach level 20, which has worked for me since I had to recover my village once. By the way, still file a report to google play store and beeline.

      • Stroumpfette says:

Why would you want to cheat the game like that? We strongly discourage cheating the game on this site as it is not at all the smurfy thing to do and doing so risks permanent data corruption. And once it is known that a player has cheated the game, no one will be happy to help a cheater recover their data.

        • Vivian says:

the plan I said was only if everything was lost and there is no chance to recover. I only used this cheat after i lost my game twice because I updated the system. It was only to catch up to the current level I was at, and it isn't fun cheating in smurf's village at all because there is no point of playing if you could instantly do anything.

      • Guilty angel says:

Can you please explain it again to me…..I am really desperate because I was at lvl 46 and
It turned me back to lvl 7!! I tried the papa thing I tapped the icon 16 times then I pressed
"Recover village" then I saw the saved villages but I could not preview or choose any of them…..I have contacted beeline but I have not got a response yet….sorry about my English by the way….I am from Greece … Please help me…

        • Stroumpfette says:

If the recovery option didn't work and if you didn't make a separate backup to iCloud (iOS) or with Helium or other 3rd party apk (Android), you will need to restart the game. Did Beeline ever answer your ticket from august 8? If you purchased smurfberries, they are generally good about reinstating them when players have to restart the game. You will need copies of your iTunes or Google Play receipts as proof of purchase.

i'm on level 26 on my iPhone. i added the smurfs village to my ipad and it started me at level 1. how do i start at level 26 on my iPad???

  46. May says:

I am in level 50 and I was playing normally, suddenly when I opened the smurf game to play it. Papa smurf showed and start asking to build a mashroom house just like the level one. My village still here but all my smurfes gone. My boat disappeared and I had used REAL money to buy the recent smurfs and item all gone. Everything go back to level 1 but it still says in level 50.

I followed the advise about tapping papa smurfs head in the options menu many times and a recover menu appeared. I was able to restore the version but nothing has worked. I spent so much REAL money and time to built the village. I don’t want to start all the way over.

    • Stroumpfette says:

You will need to open a ticket with Beeline via their support portal if your recovery operation did not work. Type into the URL box of your web browser.

i was at level 54 on my android device 4.0.3. and i upgrade to android 4.1.2 jelly bean but i can't find my smurfs village application anymore. but on the application folder you can find a folder "com.capcom.smurfsandroid" but nothing else. what can i do now , i am afraid if i reinstall the game i will loose my progress ;(. please anybody can help by any suggestion. thank you

    • Stroumpfette says:

When you upgrade your OS, the instructions say it wipes out some of your data. If there are any files in the folder you found, try copying them to another location (a folder on your PC or laptop) and then install the game. Try then putting the file back on your device. If the directory is empty, it is quite possible your data is gone. You may want to contact Beeline to see if they have different advice at

      • gergi says:

thank you stroumpfette. i try my luck and reinstall the application but it didn't take all the 69 mb just only 4,5 mb and i transfert the game app from the SD storage to the device storage and play the game and all my progress still there at the same level. thank you for your help and hope this issue may help others

    • Smurfette says:

Try to restore your game from a backup point. The article above links to our "how to" guide that gives you instructions on how to restore your village, it should work unless you have deleted the game on your device.
